Abstract

This study aims to analyze the price of palm oil using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method in deep learning. CNN was chosen for its ability to process complex data and recognize patterns from diverse data. The stages of research include data analysis, data pre-processing, predictive model design for CNN method, CNN classification model prediction results, CNN method evaluation, and CNN method evaluation results. This study aims to produce a model that can predict the price of oil palm with high accuracy, based on data covering a variety of characteristics of farmers and the quality of oil palm crops. Prediction results were conducted using data from 50 oil palm farmers. From the prediction, as many as 23 data farmers get a price of IDR 2,300, 13 other farmers get a price of IDR 2,000, and the remaining 14 data farmers get a price of IDR 1,800. The results of this prediction are based on data from farmers and the quality of oil palm crops they grow and produce. By utilizing the CNN method, the model can capture various factors that affect the price of palm oil, including the quality of palm fruit and agricultural conditions. Evaluation of the CNN method showed very good results, with almost perfect accuracy. This method managed to predict palm oil prices very precisely, showing that CNN can be an effective tool in the analysis of palm oil prices. The results of this evaluation confirmed that the CNN method can be relied upon to provide accurate predictions, helping farmers and palm oil industry players in determining prices that are in accordance with the quality and condition of the crop.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems seen from the assessment of employee performance at PT Nilo Engineering Kab. Pelalawan Riau which is still lacking in supervision and work culture through work discipline, from the results of the interview the decline occurred because employees could not complete the work according to the specified time. Therefore the authors are interested in conducting research on how the influence of supervision and work culture on performance mediated by work discipline at PT Nilo Engineering in Pelalawan Regency Riau. This research uses quantitative methods. While the population and sample in this study were employees at PT. Nilo Engineering as many as 100 people. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data. With questionnaire data collection techniques, interviews, and literature studies. To analyze the data used structural equation model analysis with pls by developing a measurement model (outer model) and developing a structural model (inner model). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the research on the Effect of Supervision and Work Culture on Employee Performance mediated by Work Discipline at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau, shows that: (1) Work supervision affects work discipline at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau. (2) Work culture affects work discipline at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau. (3) Work supervision affects employee performance at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau. (4) Work culture affects employee performance at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau. (5) Work discipline affects employee performance at PT Nilo Engineering Pelalawan Riau. Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify and understand the different characteristics of toddlers in the context of factors that contribute to nutritional stunting. By using the clustering method, this study aims to group toddlers into several groups based on the similarity of their characteristics, so that more targeted interventions can be designed in dealing with stunting problems. Through this approach, it is hoped that significant patterns and risk factors can be found that distinguish stunted toddlers from toddlers who grow normally, and provide insights that can be used by policy makers and health practitioners to improve the quality of life of children. The method used in this study involves the application of two clustering techniques, namely K-Means and K-Medoids to Group sample data of 116 toddlers. The clustering process is carried out by measuring the distance between the toddler data and the centroid or medoid to determine which group is most suitable. The Data were analyzed to find patterns identifying unique characteristics of each cluster, reflecting differences in nutritional stunting-related risk factors.This process helps in differentiating groups of toddlers who are prone to stunting from those who are not, so that the analysis can be focused on the groups most in need of intervention. The results of clustering analysis showed that as many as 48 toddlers entered the C1 cluster, while the other 68 toddlers entered the C2 cluster. Each cluster describes two groups of toddlers with different characteristics in the context of nutritional stunting risk factors. The findings provide deep insight into the significant differences between the two groups, allowing researchers to identify specific patterns and risk factors. This information is then used to design more specific and effective interventions in addressing nutritional stunting in toddlers, taking into account the unique characteristics of each cluster that has been identified.

Abstract

The presence of students in Junior High School has significant implications in the world of Education. The success of education depends not only on the content of the curriculum and the quality of teaching, but is also strongly linked to the extent to which students are regularly present at school. The problem of student absenteeism in junior high school is an issue that should not be ignored, as it can negatively affect academic achievement, the development of social skills, and the overall educational experience of students. A student's absence from school can be caused by a complex of factors. These factors include personal problems such as lack of motivation, family problems such as domestic conflicts, poor physical or mental health, as well as environmental factors such as school accessibility. A deep understanding of the reasons behind student absenteeism is an important first step to addressing this problem. Student attendance Data that has been accumulated over the past 6 months can be a valuable source of information in analyzing student attendance. However, extracting useful information from large and complex attendance data is a challenging task. This is where Data Mining comes in. Data Mining is an approach that enables the identification of patterns, trends, and valuable information in large and complex data.

Abstract

The Central Kalimantan Student Dormitory, located at Jalan Pakuningratan No.61 Yogyakarta, is one of the provincial dormitories established and funded by the regional government to serve as housing for students from outside the region who stay for a certain period. It is specifically intended for students currently studying, with a capacity of 24 rooms. Due to the limited number of rooms and the growing number of students from Central Kalimantan, which exceeds 24 individuals, the dormitory faces challenges in managing its residents. To assist dormitory managers in selecting suitable candidates for residency, the author conducted research on a web-based decision support system designed to streamline the selection process for Central Kalimantan students seeking accommodation at the dormitory in Yogyakarta. This system evaluates students based on criteria that reflect their eligibility to occupy a dormitory. By utilizing web-based decision support technology and employing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the system processes various criteria, including data on prospective residents, academic readiness, adaptability, need for social support, and commitment to dormitory rules. With an accuracy rate of 93.3%, as determined by comparing original data, this system ensures a faster, more accurate, transparent, and efficient selection process based on objective data.

Abstract

This study develops a Tetris game controlled through hand gestures using a machine learning model. The primary objective of this research is to create an interactive and responsive gaming experience by utilizing hand gesture detection as the main control mechanism. A hand gesture dataset was collected from videos segmented into individual frames, which were then analyzed using MediaPipe to detect and label gestures. The machine learning model employs a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) trained to recognize hand gesture patterns and translate them into commands within the game. After implementation, an evaluation was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 18 Informatics students at Adzkia University to assess the system's comfort and responsiveness. The questionnaire results showed a high satisfaction level, with an average score of 84.56, covering evaluations of control ease, gesture detection accuracy, and system responsiveness. The average score for ease of use reached 85, indicating that the majority of users found the gesture-based controls comfortable. This study demonstrates that applying machine learning models in gesture-based control games can provide a more interactive and responsive experience, with potential applications in other interactive technologies.

Abstract

Efficient internship recruitment management is one of the important elements in supporting human resource management, but the implementation of services at the Bureau of People's Welfare of the North Sumatra Provincial Secretariat is still constrained by manual processes, lack of system integration, and low efficiency. This study aims to improve the quality of internship recruitment management through the application of the process optimization method using the Waterfall Model approach. This method involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing with the black-box method, and maintenance of PHP and MySQL-based systems. The results of the study showed that the information system developed succeeded in increasing work efficiency, reducing errors in data recording, accelerating the selection process, and clarifying access to information for users, both administrators and interns. This system also proved to be responsive to user needs with appropriate feature validation. The conclusion of this study is that the process optimization method is able to significantly improve the performance of internship recruitment services. The researcher suggests that employee training be carried out continuously to ensure mastery of the system, as well as improving technology infrastructure so that the system can adapt to future needs and support the sustainability of services.

Abstract

The development of information technology has facilitated the creation of applications to enhance productivity across various sectors. However, the utilization of this technology has not been fully optimized, including in the TEKPOL Division of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III. Data management in the TEKPOL Division is still performed manually using Microsoft Excel, which makes it difficult for administrators to manage data in a structured and efficient manner. This study aims to design and develop an information system for managing goods data to assist administrators in the TEKPOL Division in organizing, storing, and accessing data more easily and systematically. The system was developed using PHP as the programming language, Bootstrap 5 as the framework for the interface, and MySQL as the database for data processing. The result of this development is an information system with a user-friendly interface that enhances efficiency and accuracy in managing goods data in the TEKPOL Division. Therefore, this system is expected to provide an effective solution in supporting administrative activities at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III.

Abstract

Understanding the electricity tariff class is needed to predict how much usage costs or electricity bills that must be incurred by customers. Each power capacity has a different basic electricity tariff based on the class, household, business and industry. Fuzzy logic can solve problems with imprecise and heuristic data by producing accurate conclusions. The conclusion obtained from the Fuzzy Logic results is expected to be a consideration for customers in predicting electricity usage costs based on electricity tariff groups and customer electrical power capacity. The proposed research uses the Mamdani Fuzzy Logic Method, the use of this method aims to facilitate customers in predicting the cost of electricity usage based on the electricity tariff class and the customer's electric power capacity. The output of this research is the result of predicting the cost of electricity usage based on the power group in residential homes. The higher the tariff group, the number of kWh, electronic goods, and usage time, the higher the predicted energy consumption used. The results obtained from adjusting the fuzzy input antecedents and fuzzy values, namely [900;850;30;20], then for Type_Tariff Power 900, Total_KWh 850, Electronics 30, and Time_Use 20 is 986. Then the cost that must be incurred in the example case above is 1,333,072 rupiah.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the field of digital information technology and telecommunications services in Indonesia, utilizing Fiber To The Home (FTTH) technology as a telecommunications solution to connect service providers with residential customers. PT.XYZ faces challenges in managing FTTH data due to the manual recording of information in books, which can lead to inaccuracies, hinder data accessibility, and complicate the understanding of network transmission point distribution. A viable approach to address this issue is the implementation of a management information system capable of managing FTTH data and visualizing the distribution of transmission points based on current data. This project aims to create a web-based FTTH management information system to enhance the efficiency of fiber optic network data management at PT.XYZ. This research employs the PIECES technique (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) for requirements analysis and system assessment. The system is built using the Waterfall methodology, which includes phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of black-box testing indicate that all scenarios effectively meet the specified requirements. Usability testing using the PIECES framework shows that the average user satisfaction falls within the "Satisfied" category across all criteria. This system offers a more effective and organized FTTH data management solution, capable of visualizing the distribution of network transmission points, thereby assisting operators in their daily operations.
