Abstract

The study aimed to understand how social media, digitalization, and financial literacy influence Sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z. As Gen Z becomes more predominant, it presents both opportunities and challenges for transforming the digital landscape, particularly in terms of financial literacy and the distribution of products and services in the Sharia stock market. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 selected respondents using purposive sampling. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Smart PLS application for analysis. The findings revealed that social media and digitalization significantly and positively influenced Sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z. However, the financial literacy did not show a significant impact. Public interest statements The positive impact of social media and digitalization on investment decisions indicates that financial institutions and Sharia-compliant stock market participants should leverage these platforms to connect with Generation Z. Abstract

The number of new investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange has steadily increased in the past five years. However, both literacy and inclusion levels remain very low. This raises concerns about herding behavior in the stock market, leading to market prices not accurately reflecting true value. The author employs the CSAD method, utilizing variables such as market return (Rmt), CSAD, and Rm,t2, followed by a regression analysis. The data processing is carried out using EViews software, version 13, to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the research outcomes. The findings indicate significant herding activity among stocks indexed in the Indonesian JII from 2019 to 2024. From an Islamic perspective, natural herding behavior can be seen as a normal reaction due to market psychology. However, when herding is driven by deliberate manipulation—such as acts of Najsy or Ghisysy, which arise from misleading information, price manipulation, or non-transparent activities like pump and dump or hype and dump—it constitutes a violation of ethical standards and fair market principles, rendering it illegal. Public interest statements The findings emphasize the necessity for clear ethical guidelines for investors and market participants. Creating a code of conduct that prioritizes ethical trading practices can help reduce the risks tied to herding behavior and foster a fairer market environment. Additionally, secondary data was collected from journals, books, and previous research relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that implementing patient-centered care does not significantly affect patient satisfaction; however, implementing service quality has a significant impact on patient satisfaction. This research provides practical insights, helping hospitals assess patient satisfaction levels during each visit to MM Hospital. Public interest statements Recognizing the crucial role of service quality in patient satisfaction, the hospital should focus on enhancing service quality in all departments. This improvement can involve training staff in effective communication, responsiveness, and empathy, ensuring patients feel valued and cared for during their visits. Abstract

Economic development improves human resources, public welfare, and national equality. Investment sustains economic development. According to the Harrod-Domar hypothesis, investment increases productivity and economic development. This research seeks to confirm this. The researcher also adopts Umar Chapra's ideas. His views combine Islam with morals to build a healthy economy. Using quantitative methods, this study includes FDI, domestic investment, Islamic investment, population, and GDP as fundamental and related variables. The analysis found that FDI and DCI are the independent variables affecting Indonesia's economic progress. Building a company requires much cash, so Indonesia needs both to strengthen its economy. Islamic investment is still low, and Indonesia's large population has not been well controlled, causing unemployment, low education levels, many health problems, and other problems that hinder economic growth. Public interest statements This analysis found that FDI and DCI are the independent variables affecting Indonesia's economic progress. Building a firm requires a lot of cash, so Indonesia needs both to strengthen its economy. Islamic investment is still low, and Indonesia's large population has not been properly controlled, causing unemployment, low education levels, many health problems, and others that hinder economic growth. Abstract

The Sharia financial literacy and inclusion level in North Sumatra, Indonesia, is lower than that of conventional finance. This research analyzes the Financial Services Authority's (OJK) strategies to enhance Sharia financial literacy and inclusion. Utilizing qualitative methods, including interviews and document analysis, the study reveals that OJK has implemented initiatives like the Sharia Financial Literacy Safari program, developed innovative products like Sharia Student Savings, and partnered with Sharia fintech providers to leverage digital technology. While these efforts have improved public understanding and access to sharia financial services, challenges still need to be addressed, including lack of awareness and limited infrastructure. Public interest statements The study concludes that additional steps, such as improving cross-sector cooperation and educational initiatives, are necessary to promote sharia finance's growth in the region further.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing the intention to consume halal food and to assess its impact on physical well-being. The research is framed within the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which includes constructs such as attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, religiosity, food safety, nutritional quality, and behavioral intention, along with their effects on individual physical well-being. The analysis employs Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). It is based on responses from 307 participants in Tasikmalaya, West Java. The main finding reveals that religiosity, food safety, and nutritional quality do not significantly influence a Muslim's choice to consume halal food. This implies that the behavior surrounding halal food consumption is not necessarily dependent on religious beliefs, food safety, or nutritional content. Nonetheless, halal food consumption behavior can substantially positively impact the physical well-being of Muslims. Public interest statements This research is important for society as it highlights the role of consuming halal food in promoting physical well-being. This finding is valuable for both consumers and food producers. It underscores the health benefits of consumers choosing halal food beyond religious reasons. For producers and policymakers, the research stresses the need to improve access to affordable halal food and promote its health benefits, potentially leading to healthier communities.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate user perceptions of the performance of m-banking applications at Islamic banks by analyzing user reviews on the Google Play Store from 4 July 2023 to 4 July 2024. The research results show that the BSI Mobile and Jago Syariah applications are the most downloaded and have the most reviews, indicating a high number of active users. Analysis using the Bag of Words (BoW) and Support Vector Regression (SVR) methods shows excellent performance in predicting user sentiment, with an accuracy of more than 90% on six sharia m-banking applications, where the Aladin Syariah application achieved the highest accuracy of 98. 54%. Research findings show that positive perceptions of the app's ease of use contribute to user loyalty. At the same time, complaints regarding the login and registration process must be improved. Positive reviews such as "good job" and "steady" dominate the BSI Mobile and Jago Syariah applications, reflecting the popularity of both applications. Public interest statement The unique features such as gold transactions on the Pegadaian Syariah application provide competitive advantages that other Sharia banks can adopt. These results provide strategic insights for Islamic banks to improve and develop their m-banking services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price discounts, brand image, and product quality on impulsive buying behavior of thrift products (branded second-hand goods) in the Asam Kumbang area, Medan, from an Islamic perspective. Consumers are advised to prioritize genuine needs and consider sustainability and blessings (barakah) in every purchasing decision. Public interest statements This study aims to analyze the influence of price discounts, brand image, and product quality on impulsive buying behavior for thrift products in Asam Kumbang, Medan. From an Islamic perspective, purchases should align with Sharia, avoiding wastefulness (israf) and promoting halal benefits.
