Abstract

This research aims to analyze the financial inclusion towards the empowerment of the poor in Medan through financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah. More specifically the research aims to know 1) the concept of financial inclusion that is implemented as a means of expanding access to financial services of banks and non-banks, 2) the application of the financial inclusion  Bank Sumut Syariah. Bank Sumt Syariah have significant role in the economic development of the community through a variety of financing micro, Financing of the Sumut Sejahtera. This financing facility has a lofty goal given to the community pre-prosperous society who have a business but not bankable feasibility so as to be worthy of being a customer of the bank, as well a improve people?s lives and help government programs in the framework of poverty reduction. The applicaton of financial inclusion on the financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah has been very clear benefits in the economic society prosper who enforce the interests for the public good. It is a basic principle in Islamic economic maqashid al-syariah. For financial inclusion theory maqashid al-syariah is one of the logical effort that must be applied as a consequence of the economic understanding of justice on one side and of religious on the other side.

Abstract

This research describe an economic revival of the local community through the halal ecotourism program. The method used in this research is quantitative, this research is descriptive research. Descriptive is a way in which researchers condition an event based on values in the form of numbers and appear as they are, characteristics and relationships systematically, between phenomena to be studied at the research location. The results show that the background for the emergence of ecotourism programs is to see the natural potential that can be used as tourism based on environmental conservation efforts through cultural values, Ecotourism provides changes to the economic improvement of local communities. The stages of ecotourism development start from identification of empowerment to take advantage of natural potential accompanied by increasing community welfare based on faith values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel Inflasi, Kurs, dan PDB terhadap Profitabilitas Bank Umum Syariah dengan pembiayaaan sebagai lembaga intervening yang diproyeksikan dengan Retrun On Asset (ROA). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yang điperoleh dari website resmi Statistik Perbankan Syariah, Ojk , BI, dan BPS. Data yang digunakan merupakan data runtut waktu dari Maret 2015 sampai dengan Desember 2022. Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari : (a) Uji Normalitas; (b) Uji Multikolonieritas; (c) Uji Linieritas; (d) Uji Autokorelasi; (e) Uji Heteroskedastisitas. Selanjutnya digunakan uji statistik yang terdiri dari: (a) Uji t; (b) Uji F; (c) Uji Koefisien Determinasi; dan (d) uji jalur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Inflasi dan Kurs berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap pembiayaan, PDB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembiayaan. Inflasi, Kurs, dan Pembiayaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, PDB berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas. Namun, Pembiayaan tidak dapat memediasi pengaruh antara variabel Inflasi, Kurs, dan PDB terhadap Profitabilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Implementasi Manajemen Rantai Pasokan Halal di UMKM (Studi Bisnis kuliner di Restoran Kabupaten Rokan Hilir). Dalam penelitian ini, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan manajemen rantai pasokan halal yang diterapkan pada Bisnis Restoran mulai dari proses persiapan produksi, proses produksi, proses distribusi kepada konsumen telah dijamin halal, karena setiap proses operasional mencapai tangan konsumen benar-benar bersih dan halalnya sesuai dengan hukum Islam, meskipun setiap restoran belum menerapkan standar dari MUI, halalnya terjamin untuk membeli daging di pasar, sehingga konsumen yang membeli makanan dan minuman di Restoran Kabupaten Rokan Hilirr merasa aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Tingkat Bagi Hasil, Inflasi dan Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) terhadap Deposito Mudharabah Perbankan Syariah. Ketertarikan masyarakat untuk menginvestasikan dananya sebagai pihak ketiga merupakan faktor yang berperan penting dalam perkembangan bank syariah, salah satunya deposito. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan BUS yang dipublikasi pada website Bank Indonesia (BI). Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 14 Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) yang mempublikasi laporan keuangannya pada Bank Indonesia pada periode 2020-2021. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel jumlah bagi hasil bank syariah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap deposito mudharabah. Variabel FDR berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap deposito perbankan. Sedangkan variabel inflasi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap deposito perbankan.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive cafe market, innovation as a primary strategy is crucial to enhancing competitiveness and business growth in Tanjung Morawa. However, the challenges of effectively implementing innovation in cafe management may hinder cafes' ability to adapt to changing market trends and fluctuating consumer preferences quickly. Therefore, this research explores the role of innovation as a survival strategy in cafe management in Tanjung Morawa. Using the Blue Ocean Strategy approach, the study analyzes how innovation can enable cafes to create or redefine markets by offering unique value propositions and distinguishing themselves from competitors. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative, utilizing primary and secondary data sources, including surveys, interviews, documentation, and data analysis. Key informants include the owners of Skala Coffee, Cafe Abah Awak, and Selow Time Coffee. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings demonstrate that innovation plays a crucial role in enhancing cafe competitiveness, with factors such as monitoring market trends, flexibility in responding to change, product quality, pricing, service delivery, and customer experience identified as keys to success. The practical implication of this research is that cafe owners must continue to foster innovation as part of their survival strategy in a competitive market environment.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia has a program called Wirausaha Binaan Unggulan Bank Indonesia (WUBI) which focuses on improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era. This research analyzes the role of WUBI in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs with a case study of MSMEs assisted by Bank Indonesia Representative of North Sumatra. Qualitative research methods were used with primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with fostered MSMEs. The results showed that WUBI plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era through: (1) capacity building through training and mentoring, (2) business and marketing network development, and (3) utilization of digital technology for business efficiency and effectiveness. In conclusion, the WUBI Program has a positive impact on MSME competitiveness, increasing sales, profitability, and market access. The program also helps MSMEs improve their financial management, digital marketing, and product development skills.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant changes in social, political, and economic orders at various levels, causing a global recession marked by rising unemployment​​. The purpose of this study was to find out how big the impact of the covid-19 virus was on the economy of the people in the city of Medan, how did the people of the city of Medan anticipate being able to carry out their lives and how did the Medan city government take action to deal with the covid-19 virus. Data collection and retrieval was carried out by means of field research through observation and interviews with direct companies and obtained from respondents through questionnaires, focus groups, panels and data from the results of direct interviews with researchers with informants and direct observation of the object or company where the author conducted the research and analysed using triangulation technique. The findings show that economic growth which resulted in an almost recession and greatly decreased made all economic activists feel threatened by the spread of the pandemic, because it resulted in limited activities and unusual economic activity. Islamic economics guarantees private ownership but also prioritizes common interests. So that private property can be used to help many people and be of benefit to others. The downturn in the Indonesian people's economy has also resulted in several outlets, or companies causing bankruptcy, and even dismissals have occurred in various companies which have also resulted in unemployment everywhere. The article implies that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly worsened the economic conditions in Medan, resulting in decreased income and increased unemployment, particularly in the MSME sector. This highlights the importance of implementing Sharia economic policies as a solution to enhance the welfare and economic resilience of the community by providing stronger support to the most affected sectors.

Abstract

This research aims to find BUMDes management strategies to improve the economy of village communities. The method used is a qualitative method by conducting field interviews, then the results are analyzed using the SWOT method. The results show that in the SWOT analysis BUMDes has not carried out its management optimally, and has not been able to improve the economic welfare of the village community, thus the impact of the establishment of BUMDes has not been felt by the community in Suka Damai Timur Village. The results of the SWOT matrix analysis, namely strategies (S-O), (W-O), (S-T), (W-T), found that BUMDes must implement several strategies to improve the economy of village communities, namely by conducting strategic business partnerships, Diversifying Products and Services, Carrying out Integrated Livestock Development, Opening Livestock and Technology Training Centers, Improving Marketing and Distribution Networks, Utilizing technology as a means of promotion, Improving facilities and infrastructure, Increasing Funding and Facilities, Technology Training on Social Media, Proposing Pilot Projects to Government and Investors, Minimizing Competition, Utilizing Strategic Locations to Attract More Customers, Developing Sustainability and Risk Management Programs, Improving Services and Community Involvement, Training and Increasing Capacity, Diversifying Revenue Sources, Increasing Transparency and Accountability. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that BUMDes will be able to drive the economy of Sukadamai Timur village, so that BUMDes can contribute to improving the economy of the people in the village. So that BUMDes can achieve its goals that have been regulated by the government in accordance with the function of creating the BUMDes.

Abstract

Penghimpunan dana atau fundraising merupakan hal yang utama dalam lembaga pengelolaan dan pendistribusian zakat di Indonesia untuk memberantas kemiskinan dan mengoptimalkan penyaluran zakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengumpulan dana zakat pada BAZNAS Kab. Langkat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan memaparkan informasi yang didapat secara langsung dari narasumber yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan suatu fenomena secara menyeluruh berisikan data yang terjadi dilapangan. Pengumpulan zakat di BAZNAS Kab. Langkat belum optimal, dikarenakan belum adanya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menunaikan zakat, dan juga mayoritas penyalur dana ke BAZNAS Kab. Langkat adalah ASN, namun tidak semua ASN karena mereka merasa gaji pokok belum mencukupi apalagi jika dipotong 2,5%. Masa pandemic Covid-19 juga mempengaruhi pengumpulan dana, dikarenakan berdampak bagi penghasilan para Muzakki, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap ASN karena gaji yang diterima stabil.
