Abstract

Production capacity planning this company have obstacle in meeting its production target, then company oftentimes unable to fulfill consumer demands. It can be inflict the company loose. The problems is how planning production capacity based on Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) Method in order to make consumers demand be able to supplied? “ The researcher attempt to resolving problem in PT Muncul Abadi by aiming calculate product capacity plan based on Rough Cut Capacity Planning Method and determine required product. To be useful as consideration for the company in planning production. Forecast done within the coming one year term. Capacity planning base on Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) Method. From forecast result toward previous demand quantity period within 12 periods we could be make production index schedule and order Bill of Resources with standard time that is 0,000316 hours/kg. Able to know machine capacity need in 1 workday = 8 hours day, with 3 shifts per day, 1 week = 6 workdays, 1 month = 25 effective workdays then : available time per month = 25 effective workdays x 8 hours day x 3 shift per day = 600 hours/month. Available capacity for Washing machine = 1.394 hours/month. Available capacity for Crushing machine = 1.394 hours/month. Available capacity for Pelletizing machine = 1.859 hours/month.

Abstract

Placement and determination of waste landfill locations in each city is very important. The location of a landfill that is not well organized will cause some negative consequences, which can cause damage to infrastructure; local environmental pollution; release of methane gas which is called organic decomposition; means of carrying diseases such as rats and flies; and simple interference. The existing landfill in Gresik city, precisely in the Ngipik Village, needs to be evaluated again because besides being in an urban location, the TPA has already been overloaded. Stakeholders need to find alternative locations to organize the city and make the city more comfortable for residential and urban areas. The solution to the problem requires a support method to find a solution. One method of supporting the decision is the method of transportation, this method can help to determine the optimal location of various alternatives. The transportation method discusses the distribution of goods from a number of sources (supply) to various destinations (requests) with the aim of minimizing the costs of transportation that occur. The results of calculating the optimal solution for each location using POM software by using a combination of existing landfill with TPA proposed I total costs spent in a day Rp.1.764.105,20. Temporary costs incurred using the existing landfill combination with TPA proposed II is Rp. 1.981.150,60. And the costs incurred using the existing landfill combination with the TPA proposed I and TPA proposed II ​​amounting to Rp.2.121.919,80. The combination of the use of the existing landfill with TPA proposed I has the lowest cost value of all alternatives.

Abstract

In this study, one-dimensional cutting pattern is discussed. This includes fulfilling demands for some items with different lengths by cutting some stocks of standard length available. In this problem, the patterns – the way the standard length is cut – is obtained in such an optimal ways that the trim loss becomes as minimum as possible. The decision variables are the amount of the standard lengths cut according to certain patterns. Then the problem is formulated into a linear programming model. Due to very large number of the variables and restriction to integers, the problem is the type of large scale linear integer programming. For simplicity, restriction to integer is dropped. Then the very large number of the variables is handled by considering only the favorable cutting patterns; list of all possibleways in which a standard stock may be cut is not needed. The favorable cutting pattern is then generated by using column generation technique by solving auxiliary problem in the form of a knapsack problem. The integer optimal solution is obtained by rounding it upward

Abstract

The business of Catfish Farmers (PIL) has become increasingly restless because of the high price of catfish feed in the market. Seeing the progress that is progressing, the increasing number of PILs will bring new problems to thelocalgovernment.Moreover,whatisfacedinthePILproblemisthereducedqualityofcatfishfeed. The purpose of this study was to determine the proximate protein content by using a proximate test on catfish feedderivedfromspicefermentationcombinedwithpapayafruitandstarchaddedwithcanetreacle. A total of 9 compositions of spices used in this fermentation, turmeric 0.5 kg, laos 0.5 kg, key 0.5 kg, kencur 0.25 kg, temulawak 0.5 kg, molasses 0.5 kg, betel leaf 0 , 25 kg, temuireng 0.25 kg, ginger 0.25 kg and 0.5 kg blimbing, 1 kg papaya plus sugarcane drops 1.5 liter and IM4 0.5 kg. Seteleh milled the composition of fermented spices to produce 35 liters of fermented liquid, then added 40 liters. The liquid spice mixture is stored for15daysinavessel,the fermentationprocessofcatfishfeedbeforeconsumptiontakes1 day.Fromthe results ofthestudythatthecontentoffermentedproteinwithspicesofsugarcanedropsof31.39%withaconversionof 32.41%incatfishfeedcanincreaseproteinlevelsincatfishfeed.

Abstract

Rudder (kemudi) merupakan salah satu item penting didalam sarana transportasi kapal karena merupakan komponen yang menentukan arah gerak suatu kapal. Oleh sebab itu, dalam pemasangan rudder blade atau kemudi kapal harus benar – benar presisi dan center terhadap dimensi kapal. Dalam pemasangan rudder blade selama ini memerlukan banyak waktu, man power, peralatan dan proses yang sangat lama. Untuk meminimalis waktu serta man power dalam mempercepat pemasangan rudder blade maka dibutuhkan improvement dari metode pemasangan rudder blade yang selama ini digunakan( Metode Existing/Manual) ke pemasangan rudder blade yang dapat mempercepat proses pemasanganya dalam hal ini yang disebut dengan Metode Jig Hydraulic. Selain itu dengan diciptakan alat bantu untuk pemasangan rudder blade maka diharapkan juga mendapat hasil yg lebih akurat. Hasil dari analisis serta pengolahan data dan perhitungan, di dapat efisiensi JO rata-rata 60 JO dan efisiensi sekitar 58,82%. Jika dilihat dari segi biaya untuk pemasangan rudder blade dengan metode jig hydraulic dapat mereduce biaya hingga Rp 40.800.000,00 (Empat puluh juta delapan ratus ribu rupiah) dibandingkan dengan metode existing/manual yang saat ini dilakukan. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dipastikan metode pemasangan rudder blade menggunakan jig hydraulic lebih effisien untuk waktu, biaya serta JO dibanding dengan metode existing/manual. Oleh sebab itu proses pemasangan rudder blade menggunakan metode jig hydraulic layak dipertimbangkan untuk digunakan dalam percepatan proses pemasangan rudder blade

Abstract

The competition maps of the industry will change from one country to be the ASEAN regional in 2015 as the commencement of globalization in the ASEAN Economic Community. Performance of supply chain will become more strategic for domestic companies to increase their competitiveness. The approach used for designing and measuring of supply chain performance is the SCOR model which is a processbasedmodels. The model integrates three key elements in the management namely business process reengineering,benchmarking, and process measurement into a cross-functional framework in supply chain. The research was carried out with a case study at PT Sierad Produce, a feedmill industry in East Java, Indonesia. Based on supply chain business process mapping, resulted 22 design of metrics used for measuring Period I and Period II. The result of measurement found increase of SCOR process performance by 5.3% and attributes performance by 5.6%.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efisiensi proses pelayanan sub material pada masing – masing DMU (Decision Marking Unit), produktivitas yang telah dicapai sub material pada proses pelayanan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Analisis DEA di desain secara spesifik untuk mengukur efisiensi relatif suatu unit produksi dalam kondisi terdapat banyak input maupun banyak output, yang biasanya sulit disiasati secara sempurna oleh teknik analisis pengukuran efisiensi lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan asumsi CRS (Constant Return to Scale) Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel input yang terdiri dari jumlah operator, rata – rata material handling, Kuantitas pelayanan, sedangkan Output yang digunakan pendapatan, Prosentase claim, prosentase kemampuan pelayanan dengan cara membandingkan antara jumlah output dibandingkan dengan jumlah input maka akan diketahui besarnya produktivitas pada proses pelayanan sub material. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas untuk masing – masing DMU sudah cukup baik, itu dapat dilihat dari nilai efisiensi relatif pada masing – masing DMU dengan nilai minimum 0,95%, sedangkan hasil pengukuran efisiensi relatif untuk masing – masing DMU dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada enam belas DMU yang efisien adalah sub material 2 untuk produk Bushing, Center bolt, Clip bolt, Spacer center, Silencer dan Pipa klip, dan sub material 3 untuk produk Bushing, Center bolt, Clip bolt, Spacer center, Silencer, Pipa klip dan Clip sedangkan sub material 1 untuk produk Bushing, Center bolt, Spacer center, Silencer, Pipa klip dengan nilai efisiensi relatifnya satu atau lebih dari satu sedangkan untuk sub material yang kurang efisien atau nilainya kurang dari 1 adalah sub material 1 untuk produk clip bolt sebesar 0,95 dan Clip sebesar 0,97 dan untuk sub material 2 produk Clip sebesar 0,98 dan Produktivitas yang telah dicapai Sub material pada proses pelayanan untuk Masing – masing DMU yang kurang efisien dapat dilihat pada nilai Peningkatan efisiensi relatif untuk sub material 1 produk Clip bolt sebesar 1,46, dan Clip sebesar 1,34 sedangkan untuk sub material 2 produk Clip sebesar 1,20. Penetapkan target perbaikan produktivitas pada DMU yang kurang efisien sehingga DMU yang efisien menjadi acuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dalam group / unit yang sudah ditetapkan dan usulan itu bisa menambah atau menurunkan nilai input dan nilai output.

Abstract

PT. Cement Gresik represent big company which is moving in the field of construction material making (cement), where till now still execute the cement production for accomplishment of big enough target, although we know that in this time the economics of state still be drawn also raw material with maximal amount. Therefore to be able to productive in an optimal fashion need by the existence of a planning and controlling the raw material use. The application of manufacturing resources planning (MRP II) method is represent one of the method used for production planning and controlling which is exploited by as optimal as possible utilize to reach the target from production executor. With the MRP II analysis can calculate about the product amount produced, production time, also the raw material required so that knowable later whether the production plan need repair existence in the process or not. The result obtained from analysis that is with method MRP II i.e. the data patterns taken is Single ExponentialSmoothing with the smallest MAPE that is 19 %, while from the calculation of MRP II found on the result of MRP calculation about requirement of overall raw material experience increase equal to 3.920.653 ton/year and also at CRP calculation experience lack of production time capacities equal to 1528967,7 hour/period which is as the effect from the company policy in determination of the productions amount too high and also maximal machine capacities, so that needed by improvement in the production plan. Effort of repair mentioned by as an alternative that is by refunctioning machine which have time to be desisted and addition of the machine but cannot totally because capacities of maximal raw material existing also determination of production target the needed of seeing machine capacities.

Abstract

Di era kompetisi global ini, perkembanguan teknologi semakin pesat dan kompetitif yang menyebabkan banyak perusahaan mulai memikirkan bagaimana caranya agar dapat meningkatkan efektifitasnya. Salah satu cara perusahaan dengan cara perbaikan secara terus menerus (continous improvement) dalam setiap proses produksi di dalamnya, hal ini bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi perusahaan, meningkatkan kualitas produk yang di produksi dan lain sebagainya. Untuk mengetahui evektifitas dari aktifitas produksi yang telah dilakukan, perlu dilakukan pengukuran berdasarkan dari kapasitas dan juga jumlah output produksi, PT Surya Cipta Baru merupakan perusahaan di bidang manufaktur yang memproduksi paku dan kawat potong. Sebagai langkah awal untuk mengetahhui posisi dan kondisi efektifitas, sehingga dapat menentukan arah perbaikan sistem perusahaan yaitu denga melakukan pengaturan efektivitas.Tingkat efektivitas mesin drawing dapat dilihat berdasarkan pencapaian nilai kinerja OEE di dalam proses produksi di setiap periode 6 blan sekali, dimana hasil dari mesin Drawing A dengan nilai Availability (96,33), nilai Performance (95,87), dan Quality (96,45) dengan nilai OEE (89,09). Mesin Drawing B dengan nilai Availability (96,05), nilai Performance (91,22), dan Quality (95,61) dengan nilai OEE (83,76). Rata-rata pada mesin Drawing B masih belum standar dunia, hal ini menunjukan bahwa mesin Drawing B belum bekerja secara optimal oleh karena itu penelitian akan dilanjutkan perbaikan menggunakan six big loss dilanjut dengan FMEA saran untuk kedepanya penelitian diharapkan dilakukan di peralatan lainya. Hal ini akan membantu peningkatan efektivitas secara menyeluruh di perusahaan

Mukti Jaya Abadi is a company in the General Contractor and Supplier, for these companies in the project schedule based on the analysis of the head of the project and project estimator, Result there is uncertainty about the project completion time. Therefore it takes the right approach to determine the time of the project, in this case the fuzzy method is able to provide a good completion to the things that are uncertain. Fuzzy Logic Application for Scheduling (FLASH) is an appropriate method to accommodate uncertainty. FLASH does not require statistical data but only qualitative observation.
