Abstract

Abstract

This research discusses the development of a prototype of an automatic door and fire alarm system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizing IR sensors to detect people, servo motors to automate door opening, flame detectors for fire detection, MQ-2 sensors for smoke detection, and Telegram as a notification medium. The integration of these technologies aims to enhance security and automation in home or office environments. IR sensors are used to detect people approaching the door, while servo motors provide a solution for door automation. Flame detectors and MQ-2 are employed to detect potential fires by issuing early warnings. This system communicates through the Telegram application to notify users. Testing conducted indicates that IR sensors can detect the presence of people up to a distance of 5cm to activate the micro servo opening the door. The flame detector effectively detects fire up to a distance of 30cm, while the MQ-2 sensor detects smoke up to a distance of 20cm; both generate output signals to activate the micro servo, LED, and buzzer for fire alarms, as well as sending notifications via Telegram to the building owner. With this approach, it is hoped to create an effective, efficient, and reliable system to enhance security and response to emergency situations.

Abstract

Blockchain, a decentralized database safeguarded by cryptographic security, has gained prominence for its resistance to manipulation. Its application extends notably to ensuring the security of financial transactions, including the acquisition of digital currencies. This study endeavors to develop a system aimed at validating diplomas and academic transcripts, enhancing their authenticity and bolstering the security of document storage. Leveraging the Ethereum Blockchain and Smart Contracts, the methodology focuses on the utilization of specialized codes executed within the Ethereum network. The outcome of this research manifests as a system blueprint designed for the verification of diplomas and transcripts, integrated within a web-based Ethereum Network platform. By harnessing the Ethereum Blockchain's inherent security features and employing Smart Contracts, the proposed system endeavors to streamline the verification process, ensuring the integrity and reliability of academic credentials while fortifying document storage against potential breaches. Through this innovative approach, the study contributes to advancing the authentication and security standards within the realm of academic documentation management.

Abstract

Internet of Thing (IoT) in hydroponics was developed to monitor and control the hydroponic environment for efficiency and effectiveness with maximum results purpose. Many papers expose about IoT application on hydroponic, this article completed it with business model so it will sustain as valuable business especially in Tangerang Banten Indonesia. It is interesting and necessary to analyze the business model, so that this valuable system of the solution can sustain and growth, also proper for the big picture purpose. Of seventeen (17) goals SDGs, hydroponic using IoT application is related to solving point number two (2) about zero hunger and point number thirteen (13) about climate action. This paper uses qualitative descriptive methodology which analyzes and provides points of BMC for IoT application on hydroponic. The result of this paper found that BMC is proper tool to analyze and describe business model for IoT of hydroponic. Then this paper also finds there are several points of revenue streams with some different customer segments, support from hydroponic community, and some collaboration with key partners is needed, which means the business cannot stand alone. This paper has limitations which could be further interesting topics for the next paper.

Abstract

The era of revolution 4.0 has had the impact of technological changes in learning, to learning in the form of technology. Online learning is designed using online technology and material is adapted to user needs. Web Based Learning is a website-based learning media that students use to learn the basics of programming. The problem of learning programming for vocational school students is that it is difficult to understand the basic syntax of programming and the flow of thinking, so learning media is needed that can make it easier for students to learn it. Interface design is one of the determinants of students' learning interest, so an appropriate design method is needed according to students' needs, namely using the UCD (User Center Design) method. So that the interface looks attractive, and the workflow is clear enough, an interface design assistant application, namely Figma, is used. Activities are emphasized on SUS testing by obtaining test results of Based on the prototype evaluation results, a MAUS score of 95 out of 100 was obtained at a high level. The MAUS value is at a high level. Meanwhile, the MIUS scores of the four scenarios tested received their respective scores, scenario 1 got a score of 76.25 with a medium level, scenario 2 got a score of 87.6 with a high level, scenario 3 got a score of 87.6 with a high level, and scenario 4 gets a score of 95.45 with a high level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine regional officials in the Tanggamus region using a decision support system based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. In the government official environment, determining regional officials is crucial as they are government employees who hold important positions at both regional and provincial levels. The issue of determining regional officials in the Tanggamus area is significant due to various problems such as the behavior of officials, absenteeism, lack of socialization in society, and more. This study employs the SAW method, which involves variables like educational level, behavior of officials, and rank. This system is designed to aid in decision-making for selecting responsible regional officials who are accountable for their duties. The findings indicate that the SAW method is effective in evaluating alternatives based on predefined criteria. Officials appointed in an area must possess honesty in performing their duties and comply with established regulations. This system allows for a more transparent and accurate process in determining regional officials. The results of this study are expected to provide a decision support information system for regional officials in the Tanggamus region, ensuring that selected officials have the necessary qualifications and integrity to fulfill their roles.
