Abstract

The Learning of local music in schools and universities had become the pre-eminent material as local content in every place in Indonesia, in this case, the focus of discussion on this paper was Rejung music or often called as Batang Hari Sembilan, the identification of problems in this research was in the learning process of Rejung music, where the music educators had difficulties in teaching this material because the steps of rejung music learning material were not well compiled. In addition, the problems faced by educators in learning Rejung music was the learning media was not utilized optimally, namely, audio-visual media (learning tutorial video). Based on the identification of the problem, The problem in this research could be formulated in the form of questions as follows, 1) How was the structure of Rejung music. 2) how to make /produce tutorial video in Rejung Music learning. 3) How to learn Rejung music through tutorials video. While the specific objectives of this study were 1) Explained the music playing technique in Rejung music. 2) Explained the video tutorial production. 3) Explained the learning process of Rejung music through tutorial video. The method used in this research was this research discussed matters related to the science of Rejung music, the data collection was done through observation and documentation related to the learning process of the local music. Furthermore, the analysis of data related to Rejung music was processed and formulated through musicology and audio-visual multimedia.

Abstract

Research title is"Building of Character Children Through Theater". This research use qualitative methode with descriptive analysis. The theater performance “Run to the Moon” and the “Children's Tale” is the result of observation and the director's anger toward the children in Kampung Purus (which is usually called Kampung Puruih). Children are busy with social media so there is a lack of interaction between people. The theater performance Run to the Moon and the Children's Tale is a reality that is packed into a stage event and directly involving the children as the performer. The theater performance Run to the Moon Children’s Tale can be use to build children's character, because the message of tale invite children to interact with others, diligent study and good behavior and polite. This study aims to explore the character building of children with theater performance Run to the Moon and Children's Tale using the method of Sociology of Art and Psychotherapy.

Abstract

The General Election was held in 2019 with the KPU as the organizer on April 17, 2019. Among the tasks of the KPU was the dissemination of General Elections to remote areas throughout Indonesia. Remote areas are the main concern of the KPU in an effort to increase election participation in 2019, because remote areas are one of the biggest contributors to the Golput number in the 2014 elections. One of the remote areas with very low participation rates is Tegal Rejo Village, Gedang Sari District, Gunung Kidul Regency. This village is located in a hilly area which is one of the disaster prone areas. Tegal Rejo village has not received socialization from the Gunung Kidul Regency KPU and many villagers are still not informed about the 2019 Presidential Election. From the problems that occur, the author finds a solution to the problem by making an "Infographic Design as a Media Supporting the Socialization of KPU to Remote Areas". As for this design contains information on Election 2019, such as the introduction of candidates in the form of profiles of each prospective president and vice president, procedures for voting, time and place of execution until the conditions become a Permanent Voters List (DPT). And the media created will be given to the KPU to be the material for dissemination to remote areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

A city of Pariangan is an old city in Minangkabau. A city called as the area of origin of the ancestors of the Minangkabau people that have a lot of potential both natural beauty and culture that is still exist and protected. Through the design of brand identity, the various potentials in the city of Pariangan is such a beautiful way that the creation of an effective promotional activities. So it can increase the number of tourists visiting both local and foreign. This will affect the economic sector of the community, either directly or indirectly. In the application of the concept that is inspired from the unique visual design of Pariangan city. Like the illumination motif of the ancient manuscript of Pariangan such as "Kambang Reno", a pointed roof typically of Minangkabau, roof terraced from the old mosque that became the pride of society and the typical stairs of Pariangan city. The color choice of yellow, brown and green to symbolize the natural cycles are some process of planting to harvest the rice. A brand identity of Pariangan city are designed into logos and supporting media such as stationaries, sovenir and social media that synergize together into a visual unity. The Synergy between the media will affect the image formation of the Pariangan city itself to be easier to remember and recognizeable by tourists. The successfulness of this brand identity affects the cooperation of various parties to always be consistent to apply and use this brand.

Abstract

Inyiak Upiak Palatiang was born in 1900s in Kubu Gadang Hamlet, Nagari Gunuang, Padang Panjang City, he is famous as a pandeka (swordsman) Minangkabau silat girl who controls the flow of silek gunuang (Silat Gunung). (Interview with grandson Inyiak Upiak Palatiang, Fardizal, 20.00WIB, Padang Panjang, January 8, 2017). Inyiak Upiak Palatiang is a Minangkabau martial arts master, when he is 100 years old, he is still active in preserving and preserving the art of Minangkabau culture, even being a teacher of silek tuo (old martial arts), He is also known as a reliable kicker with various dendang creations besides Inyiak Upiak Palatiang also likes to play art Randai tradition. Based on the explanation of the greatness of Inyiak Upiak Palatiang, pengkarya plans to lift it into a musical masterpiece of the archipelago that will be titled "Inyak Upiak Palatiang", with the reason of the name of Inyiak Upiak Palatiang already representing what he cared for during his life. Background of the phenomenon that has been described, it can be formulated a formulation of the creation of the work, that is how to transform the phenomenon of a female character Inyiak Upiak Palatiang , into a musical composition of the archipelago, which will be divided into two sub-works, namely Upiak and Palatiang.

Abstract

This Parameswara monument is a sculpture artwork created to welcome PON 2004 ago. Analysis of this work will use the aesthetic approach, in addition to its monumental form of this work is also closely related to the history of Palembang as the center of the greatest kingdom civilization in the archipelago of the archipelago of Sriwijaya. As one of the great kingdom of Sriwijaya kingdom has a strong influence on the earth archipelago. This is evident until now from the traces he left behind. Likewise with the work of sculpture Parameswara is a work of sculpture symbolic abstraction created by Rita Widagdo. Rita Widagdo is one of the artists living in modren age, this is certainly very influential in the creation of this sculpture artwork. The presence of sculpture art works also provide an interpretation of the development of the times. Parameswara sculpture is not just a beautiful natural manifestation of natural simplification by simply capturing the essence of an object in the amatinya, the object is a creative stimulus so that the resulting work is an abstraction of reality. In the manifestation Rita Widagdo tends to use a concave and convex lines firmly to give the impression of a courage and strength that is the result of interpretation of Parameswara figures. Parameswara statue is a symbol of unifying Malay clumps in the archipelago. The reason, almost all Malays in the archipelago, especially in Malaysia, Singapore, southern Thailand, and Brunei originated from Palembang. They are all descendants of Parameswara and his followers, a commander of Palembang After the fall of Sriwijaya, Iskandar Shah or Parameswara fled north to find a new settlement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the transformation of the Ronggeng Pasaman performance of the Ganto Saroha group in Duo Koto District, Pasaman Regency. Ronggeng Pasaman is a performance art consisting of pantun, joget, and music, especially in Simpang Tonang, Pasaman, West Sumatra. The form of the Ronggeng Pasaman show is combining bouncing skills while dancing to the accompaniment of violin and drum music. The show starts at night, and ends until early morning. Currently Ronggeng Pasaman has undergone a transformation, people, especially young people, are less interested and begin to leave their regional arts, so the Ronggeng Pasaman show is rarely displayed. There was anxiety from the artists themselves, then initiatives emerged to attract the attention of the people. So it formed the Ronggeng Pasaman Ganto Saroha group, with the addition of keyboard music instruments in the show. Unlike the Pasaman Ronggeng Performance in general, the Ganto Saroha group does not show male singers with female appearance, but rather singers are real women or men. This study uses qualitative methods, is analytic description, observant participants. The results showed that the transformation carried out by the artists, made the Ronggeng Pasaman performance of the Ganto Saroha group well received and in great demand by all people in Pasaman, and was fully supported by the local government.

Abstract

This research, is the career journey of Siti Chairani Proehoeman as a soprano who has taken part in various countries, and is a great teacher who is a role model for every student who specializes in studying in the field of sound art. Siti Chairani Prohoeman is an Indonesian citizen who is very influential in Malaysia, he created a movement about vocals in Malaysia, great enthusiasm Siti Chairani Proehoeman has made vocals a culture for Malaysia. The names of the countries that Siti Chairani Proehoeman often performed at concerts, operas and recitals are in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Finland, USA, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia. Siti Chairani Proehoeman already has several serial albums and her professional career is a Classical / Opera singer (Soprano). The factors of Siti Chairani Proehoeman became a famous soprano in various countries, namely family background, habits, environment and education. This study discusses Siti Chairani Proehoeman's career as a soprano in a biographical form. In this case the history of Siti Chairani Proehoeman's career as a soprano based on data, sources, informants and all matters relating to the life history of an artist. This research method, analytic description, case study, observer participation. The results showed that, in the practice of Siti Chairani Proehoeman's life based on a musicalological perspective and assisted through historical and biographical reviews, Siti Chairani Proehoeman's position was a famous soprano.

Abstract

Mencoret adalah sebuah kegiatan yang bisa dilakukan oleh siapapun. Kegiatan mencoret ini sering disebut juga dengan “doodle”. Banyak sekali orang yang secara sadar ataupun tidak pernah membuat doodle. Doodle dapat menjadi sebuah bentuk karya seni yang indah dan mendatangkan keuntungan bagi yang menekuninya. Tetapi ada problema yang sebenarnya terdapat pada pembuat doodle yaitu karya yang biasanya tidak memiliki karakter, hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya informasi dan pengetahuan tentang doodle. Buku tentang doodle banyak beredar di pasaran, namun permasalahan yang dimiliki adalah belum adanya buku doodle  yang memuat sejumlah informasi dan pengetahuan, oleh karena itu dibuatlah Perancangan Buku Ilustrasi “Just Do(odle) It!” yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan serta memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan tentang doodle kepada masyarakat luas.

Abstract

 Koroegrafi berjudul ”PETI=Mati” adalah hasil interpretasi dan daya imajinasi pengkarya dalam menuangkan ide ke dalam bentuk karya tetang aktivitas PETI atau Dompeng. PETI atau Dompeng adalah usaha pertambangan yang dilakukan perorangan, sekelompok orang atau perusahaan berbadan hukum yang dalam operasinya tidak memiliki izin dari instansi pemerintah yang sesuai peraturan dan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Penambang didukung oleh pemodal besar yang menggunakan alat-alat berat untuk mengeruk pasir dan tanah sungai sehinggga cepat menimbulkan kerusakan di sepanjang daerah aliran sungai. Untuk memurnikan emas penambang menggunakan air raksa, lalu membuang limbahnya langsung ke Sungai. Pembuangan racun merkuri sudah sangat parah dikawasan hulu Batang Tembesi ini. Koreografi disusun berdasarkan tipe abstrak didukung oleh setting dan musik untuk menyampaikan pesan dan kesan dari karya tari tersebut. Pijakan gerak dalam koreografi berangkat dari bentuk-bentuk dari gerak murni yaitu aktifitas para penambang emas. Untuk menyampaikan isi koreografi akan diperkuat oleh tujuh orang penari yang terdiri dari  enam orang penari laki-laki dan satu orang penari perempuan.  Dengan tema kehidupan, yang ingin menyampaikan pesan dan kesan kepada penonton tentang penting nya menjaga Sumber Daya Alam dan pelestarian Lingkungan. Konsep karya ini merupakan hasil pengamatan pengkarya terutama yang terjadi dalam kehidupan pribadinya dimana pengkarya pengkarya yang lahir dan di bersarkan di Sarolangun merasakan langsung dampak nya. Untuk memvisualisaikan ide garapan ke dalam karya tari.
