Increasing political participation is certainly not an easy job, there needs to be support from several parties or groups. One group that is considered capable of inviting people to increase political participation is farmer groups. Especially for people who live in rural areas. One of the villages that has a farmer group is Gampong Blang Cut, Peusangan District in Bireuen Regency. The purpose of the research is to find out the role of the farmer group in increasing community political participation and to find out the obstacles faced by farmer groups in increasing community political participation. The research method uses qualitative techniques. The results of this study indicate that; the level of participation of farmer groups tends to be low. Constraining factors such as gaps in the political capacity of farmer groups, fragmentation and limited resources, apathy and dependence on the government are often the main causes of the low political participation of farmer groups. This situation ultimately weakens the capacity of farmer groups to develop and fight for a political agenda that truly reflects their needs and aspirations. Therefore, systematic efforts are needed to restructure farmer group organizations to be more oriented towards political participation such as; (1) Recognition of Customary Values; (2) Community involvement in the decision-making process of village development; (3) Strengthening the partnership network of grassroots institutions; (4) Strengthening discussion and dialogue forums.

This journal explores the Sister City cooperation initiated by the Palembang City Government to enhance regional potential across various sectors. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach, combining public administration and international relations studies. Public administration focuses on government policies and their implementation, while international relations examine diplomatic activities in Sister City partnerships involving Palembang with Houston (United States), Yangzhou (China), and Zhuang Zhou (China). The study employs public policy theory and the Sister City concept as analytical frameworks, using indicators from Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 25 of 2020 on regional and international cooperation. The research uses a literature review method, relying on secondary data such as articles, documents, regulations, and prior studies. It investigates the stages of policy implementation in Palembang’s diplomacy efforts through three Sister City partnerships. The partnerships with Yangzhou and Zhuang Zhou have reached the stage of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), while the cooperation with Houston remains in the exploratory phase. The findings indicate several challenges hindering the effectiveness of these partnerships, including limited technical expertise among personnel in international cooperation, poor coordination, inadequate human resources such as translators, and leadership transitions that disrupt policy continuity. These issues highlight the need for improved technical capacity and better coordination to optimize the outcomes of international collaborations.

In the era of globalization, popular culture has been a tool in understanding the complexity of international relations due to its easy access and simple packaging through technological advances. Globalization and the influx of other foreign cultures have been posing some threats and challenges in shifting national culture and values. The phenomenon of the influx of foreign cultures such as hallyu and westernization in Indonesia is slowly threatening Indonesia's national identity. Using the lens of Pop Culture and World Politics (PCWP) and Cultural Resistance from Antonio Gramsci (1971), the author examines in depth how the role of popular culture produced by Indonesian filmmakers and musicians can answer the challenges to the shift in Indonesia's national identity through cultural expression to oppose the dominant forces in the era of globalization at the international level. This research uses qualitative and descriptive methods in examining film and music artefacts produced by Indonesian filmmakers and musicians which are gaining international attention. The findings of this study aim to reveal that in the era of globalization, films and music produced by Indonesian filmmakers and musicians as the non-state actors play an important role in answering the challenges to the domination of foreign cultures in the context of maintaining Indonesia's original culture and identity by producing films and music containing local elements that are recognized and consumed by international audiences.

This research aims to identify and analyze the inhibiting factors in the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2017 concerning the Management of Regional Property at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Padang City (PUPR). This study was conducted to understand the obstacles that arise in the implementation of this policy, providing an overview of the challenges faced by the agency related to regional asset management. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with stakeholders actively involved in policy implementation, as well as through documentation studies related to the management of regional property at the PUPR Office of Padang City. The results of the study indicate that there are two inhibiting factors in the implementation of the regional regulation. First, the low awareness of users of regional property regarding their responsibility to report the condition and status of the goods they use. This leads to inaccuracies in reporting and recording assets, which impacts asset management. Second, the limited budget allocated to support the implementation of management, especially in asset maintenance. This budget limitation hinders the optimization of regional asset management and poses a challenge for the PUPR Office in effectively implementing the regulation. This research is expected to provide recommendations to improve the implementation of this policy in the future

This research discusses the Indonesian Government's Policy Related to Diplomacy in the Middle East Region. The aim of the research is to understand the origins of the UAE-Israel relationship, the normalization process, and its implications for Southeast Asian countries, particularly in the context of Indonesian policy. The method used is library research with qualitative descriptive analysis, relying on secondary data from various literature sources. The results of the research show that the normalization of this relationship has created a positive climate for cooperation between the UAE and Southeast Asian countries, especially Indonesia, which also plays an important role. However, this normalization process has also triggered opposition from several countries that consider it contrary to their commitment to Palestine. The recommendation of this research is that both Indonesia and the UAE can act as more active mediators in resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict and enhance economic and diplomatic cooperation with Southeast Asian countries to create regional stability.

This article aims to provide a form of sexual violence prevention strategy based on feminist pedagogy as a framework for the PPKS Task Force in universities. It is known that the main factor in the rampant cases of sexual violence in several universities in Indonesia is basically caused by the imbalance of power relations in unbalanced gender positions, a culture of masculine oppression, including the lack of literacy in understanding knowledge about gender equality so that its linearity has an impact on various forms of sexual violence that occur. The theoretical approach used in this study uses the theory of feminist pedagogy, while the methodology used in this study is qualitative-reflective through literature studies from learning data and observations on the existence and role of the PPKS Task Force in Palembang City, including the PPKS Task Force at Sriwijaya University and the PPKS Task Force at Indo Global Mandiri University. The results of the study show that the prevention of sexual violence carried out by the two PPKS Task Forces at the two universities plays a role in two indicators, namely First, self-reflection and the PPKS Task Force's partisanship on feminist issues. Second, Empowerment of collaborative communities by involving academics through the formation of anti-sexual violence solidarity, namely "Volunteer Satgas PPKS" and "Sister bootcamp" while the transformative social role has not been fully constructive, because there has been no integration of alternative feminist-based curriculum as comprehensive and systematic sexual violence learning in preventing sexual violence in higher education.
