<![CDATA[Children's interest in learning should be continuously enhanced. Selecting suitable learning media is very important to support the increased interest in learning. A film can be one of the learning media that offers advantages for achieving a quality children's education process. This study aims to discuss the functions of films for children in children's education. The method used is descriptive qualitative with literary studies techniques. The study results show that there are three functions of films for children as learning media, namely film as a media for language learning, film as a media for character building, and film as a media for introducing multiculturalism. Film can stimulate children's imagination so that children can think actively and creatively. However, the functions of films are inseparable from the role of parents and teachers in selecting films and methods or techniques for presenting films so that children remain active learners.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to examine how the establishment of a Final Processing Site (TPA) and subsequent waste processing has influenced the local economy and social life of the Cipayung Village, Depok, West Java community. The methodological approach was qualitative and descriptive. Six residents, two TPA administrators, and the RT and RW heads of the area, participated in the study. The results of a thematic analysis of research data indicate that: 1) Environmental degradation caused by the TPA has an effect on people' daily routines; and 2) The existence of the TPA has created new employment prospects; 3) TPA administration facilitates the implementation of numerous activities, hence enhancing social interaction between people; 4) The presence of a TPA improves the socioeconomic well-being of community members. The local community, the TPA management and government must collaborate to safeguard their environment so that environmental issues generated by the establishment of the Cipayung TPA do not recur, and to maximize opportunities so that the Cipayung TPA becomes an innovation capable of promoting community welfare.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between conflict resolution and marital satisfaction in early married adolescents. This research design uses quantitative research. The research instrument used is the Conflict Resolution Scale and the Marriage Satisfaction Scale. The subjects involved in this study amounted to 161 early married couples who were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using simple regression, namely, to make an estimate of the value of the variables. This study shows that there is a significant relationship between conflict resolution and marital satisfaction in Adolescent couples married early in Talang Jaya Village (p0.001; R Square 0.251).]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the background and characteristics/forms of the modernization of the system of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia from the beginning of its emergence to the contemporary period. The method used is a historical and qualitative method with a comparative approach. The results show that the milestones of modernizing Islamic education in Indonesia began to emerge in the early 20th century as a response to discriminatory Dutch colonial education as well as criticism of the traditional Islamic education system at that time which was considered less relevant to the demands of the times. Modernization of Islamic education offers a new system that is more accommodative, adaptive, and solutive. This modernization is still ongoing today with various variants of updates. The existence of modernization has provided a new breakthrough in the world of Islamic education in Indonesia, although at the same time some other Islamic educational institutions still maintain their traditional style.]]>

<![CDATA[Marching Band is the art of playing musical instruments combined with structured formation movements so that it becomes a complete performance. Being a Marching Band trainer, especially in the Marching Band UNS (MB UNS), is the same as being a teacher. The coach will form a new personality for himself when he wants to train his players. The purpose of this study was to find out the factors that cause the MB UNS trainers to form their self-presentation while in the field as well as the concepts of the front stage and back stage of the MB UNS trainers in forming their self-presentation during practice. This study used a qualitative method with a case study research design applying the dramaturgical theory perspective of Erving Goffman. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the factors that led to the formation of the self-presentation of MB UNS coaches were experience, personal reasons, and professional demands. The front stage form of the MB UNS trainers tended to be firm and disciplined, while their back stage form became more friendly.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out and analyze human resource management in improving employee performance. The research approach carried out in this study is descriptive qualitative of the author using a SWOT analysis. This analysis is a systematic identification of factors for formulating a corporate strategy. Then to find out the results of the analysis of employee performance improvement strategies using the IFAS and EFAS matrices, important factors can be identified both from the internal environment and the external environment which are strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from improving performance. The results of the analysis are obtained from growth or growth-oriented strategy, this strategy indicates the state of the company that is strong and able to continue to develop by taking the opportunities and opportunities that exist to achieve maximum turnover. This strategy was chosen because the calculation result is in square I where the total weighted score of weakness strength is 2.87 while the threat odds are 1.42. The position on this square is very advantageous and can be applied to the maximum. Employee performance can be improved by compensation given in the form of enthusiasm, willingness, and thoroughness of employees to be focused and disciplined. A motivated employee will be more enterprising and disciplined to work, while an unmotivated employee will show discomfort towards his work resulting in the company's goals not being achieved. But at PT. Asuransi Syariah Al-Amin Medan has regular performance carried out by human resource management with Electronic Performance Management appraisal.]]>

<![CDATA[From the 1880s to the early 1900s on the island of Java, there was a unique tradition, namely the Rampogan Macan/Rampok Macan tradition. Javanese people community elite carried out this tradition until the early nineteenth century, but for reasons of animal preservation, the Dutch then banned the event. Questions in this research: How was the Rampogan Macan Tradition event until it was declared prohibited by the colonial government? This study uses historical methods. The study results show that the Rampogan Macan tradition as a conflict tradition in Java is a development of the Rampogan Macan tradition in Surakarta. Along with the decreasing population of the Javanese tiger, this tradition was later discontinued for reasons of preserving the fauna, but the big event was held in Java. The main reason the elites held tiger rampok was none other than the prestige they had won.]]>

<![CDATA[The increase in tourists which is the main driver of the tourism sector requires the cooperation of all stakeholders consisting of the government and direct cooperation from both the business world and from the private sector. The increase in tourist visits is certainly inseparable from communication activities between actor’s manager of the Puncak Pato tourist area and the government. This communication is important to achieve maximum results in increasing tourist visits to Puncak Pato. The research method used is a phenomenological approach with a constructivism paradigm. The theory used is the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis theory from Jonathan Smith. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the important concept of communication between managers of the Puncak Pato tourist destination is openness in conveying correct information to the government, an attitude of supporting the government in communication activities and carrying out communication activities with the government in the form of meetings.]]>

<![CDATA[Technological developments are the reason a teacher must participate in improving teaching abilities with innovative learning methods. The use of technological media in the teaching process will have many benefits and be able to increase student creativity, especially in advertising material, slogans and posters. Media that is easy for students to have been their gadgets, along with their social media. Various information that can improve students' abilities can be accessed easily on the internet. So that students are accustomed to applying many things using their gadgets and the internet. Canva is an application that is easy for students to access, and its use is also not complicated to learn. This study aims to provide an explanation that the Project-Based Learning model is capable of being an effort to improve students' ability to creatively compose advertising text, slogans, and posters. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is directly investigated by the teacher (researcher). This type of research is also used with a descriptive approach where the research results will be described in detail. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained are that the Project-Based Learning model implemented by using the Canva application is able to increase student creativity in designing advertisements, slogans and posters very creatively]]>

<![CDATA[One of the company's performance indicators is Tobins'Q, therefore it is important for the company to manage it effectively and efficiently. Tobins'Q can be influenced by both internal and external factors of the company. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the corporate governance structure as proxied by institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and the number of commissioners on firm value (Tobin's Q). The method used is descriptive and verification method, using multiple panel data regression analysis tools with eviews 10 program, the results of the study prove that institutional ownership, independent commissioners and the number of members of the board of commissioners significantly affect Tobin's Q. However, for the variable number of board of commissioners an anomaly occurs. where the results contradict the hypothesis.]]>
