Abstract

Electricity consumption in Indonesia from year to year has increased. The sales of PLN 2018 electricity in 234,617.88 GWh covering industrial sector, household sector, commercial sector, and public sector. While electrical energy consumption in D. I. Yogyakarta in 2018 of 2,857.06 GWh covering household sector, industrial sector, business sector, social sector, government office building sector and public street lighting. In fulfilling the demand of electrical energy, Yogyakarta installed power plant consists of PLTMH, PLTBm, PLTS and PLTHybrid with an installed capacity of 4.84 MW so that electricity in Yogyakarta is supplied from the interconnection network of Java-Madura-Bali. Energy resources used by interconnection networks generally use fossil energy (coal). Therefore we need a substitute for future fossil fuels. Utilization of renewable energy is one of the solar energy optimizations that can be applied to urban areas. The building sector consumes up to 40% of total annual energy. One of the buildings that can apply the utilization of renewable energy is the office building PUP-ESDM D. I. Yogyakarta. This research aims to know the potential power generated from the PLTS roofing if it is built on the office building Public Works, housing and Energy Mineral resources (PUP-ESDM) D. I. Yogyakarta. Research is conducted by conducting energy simulations using the HelioScope software. Simulated results show the east side of Building 1, the east side of Building 2, the east side of Building 3, the west side of Building 2 and the north side of Building 2 is the optimal location of photovoltaics. The Total energy potential generated from these five roofs is 73,484.5 kWh/year and is able to supply the energy needs of the PUP-ESDM office by 74.42%.

Abstract

One of Occupational safety and health (OSH) problem in catering is related to ergonomics. Lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying loads, done incorrectly or the use of tools that are not ergonomic, will pose a risk of injury to workers. The working process in catering starts from the preparation of ingredients; food is lifted from the market to temporary storage, then during the cooking process; lifting pots containing food from the stove, after the food is cooked; lifting food that to be distributed to customers affects musculoskeletal. Musculoskeletal risk factors in the catering business are long working hours, repetitive work with the same posture when preparing food, kitchen design, and unergonomic equipment, also limited workplace. Prevention efforts are important to prevent catering workers from Occupational Diseases, especially musculoskeletal disorder. Community service was provided to catering business owners and workers in the village of Banguntapan, Kab. Bantul. Based on community diagnosis, workers generally complain of illness. Aims to give awareness about risk and how to prevent musculoskeletal disorders by lifting weights properly. The method was counselling by poster media. Persuasive communication was carried out to convey the important contribution of all parties in enforcing OSH. Activities were going well, managers and workers understood and can practice how to lift weights properly. This community service is an effort to empower people to increase their knowledge and care in realizing an ergonomic work environment concept.

Abstract

Dedication to society is obligator by lecturers, because carried on tridharma college. The implementation of the PKM in this time involved counterpart of Community learning activity centers (PKBM) Dharma Putra Mandiri. The Probelem in this PKBM are lack of lab for practicing computer, while in this era computer is a part for doing some works. To solve that problem, team of PKM give some solution, the solution for this problem is give the training  of basic computer which utilize microsoft word application for the students in PKBM Dharma Putra Mandiri, this training hopefully the stidents get   experience in operating computer. To increase the kuality except do the basics of microsoft word, in this training giving case to create CV, wich utilize this application. Besides that, in this training, the participan will get certiicate competency ich can be used as attachment between certificate degree. Based on this training, every participant can increase the kuality in ICT, especially in CV creating with microsoft word application. Result in this PKM sparate in two category, the catogory are assesment for participant and PKM team. The assesment to participant get averages of post test in 51%, with maimum value is 10 in 0-10 of range, and the best result of assignment for the PKM team is 71% in infrastructure.

Abstract

In this paper, the location that is targeted for community service activities is Penyak Village, Koba Sub-District, Central Bangka Regency. The majority of the profession of the Penyak Village community are fishermen because the village is directly adjacent to the South China Sea. Maritime resources in Penyak Village are quite abundant including various types of fish, shellfish and small crab. But most people who market these resources have not used techniques for storing fishery products. Therefore, it is feared that the fishery products will decline in quality. The solution offered to this community service is the socialization of frozen fishery product storage. In addition, in order for the community to directly utilize it, the freezer box equipment was provided to Penyak Village. Through the evaluation process, it is known that the freezer box provided can be utilized by Penyak Village community, especially for storing food products.

Abstract

One of the efforts in increasing the productivity of dairy cows is to apply maintenance management to dairy cows in the form of recording livestock data. Lembu Alam Serambi farmer group has a recording system using livestock cards provided by the Animal Husbandry Department. Cattle cards used for data recording of dairy cows are made from a type of paper that has several disadvantages, namely, easily lost, torn, wet, burned, and dirty. Therefore, to overcome this problem, we apply Android using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. In this community service, the NFC technology implementation system is integrated with cow's ear tag and android application. This system is used to identify dairy cows and process data recording with an Android-based application. In this cow data recording system consists of two mobile apps, namely cow data record application and NFC tap tag application. The system implementation shows that the community service activity can help facilitate the Lembu Alam Serambi farmer group in the process of recording dairy cattle data.

Abstract

We are currently faced with the problem of the Covid 19 pandemic and no cure has been found. One of the efforts made by the community is to implement health protocols to the recommendations from the government and increase the body's resistance to prevent this Covid 19 attack. Indonesia has a wealth of spices that are quite large in number and type. According to some studies that this spice can increase the body's resistance because it contains antioxidants and active compounds that can ward off free radicals. This is one of the business opportunities as well as an effort to increase the body's endurance if consumed. Community service activities organized by ATI Padang Polytechnic, Agro Industry Engineering Study Program aims to provide technology for processing instant spice drinks based on red ginger. The spices used are red ginger, cinnamon, cloves and lemongrass. The product produced is instant red ginger. Partners of this activity are UKM/communities in Bungo Pasang Subdistrict, Koto Tangah District, Padang. The method used is to deliver processing technology through virtual training and practice independently. After attending virtual training and independent practice using equipment and materials that have been assisted by team, participants submitted their products that have been packaged as evaluation materials. It is hoped that with this activity, UKM/communities can produce this product in order to increase the resilience of the family as well as their business choice. The processing of spices into instant beverage products is expected to be widely marketed, more durable and provide added value to spice commodities. Kata kunci : Minuman instan, rempah, daya tahan tubuh

Abstract

As an archipelago, handling plastic waste in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands is an aspect that needs to be taken seriously. Apart from being focused on developing tourist areas, plastic waste will easily be carried to the sea and prone to be degraded into microplastics, often consumed by marine animals. This community service activity focuses on Penyak Village, Kec. Koba, Kab. Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands. To solve the plastic problem in that location, the community service team conducted training for the community, especially for Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) members, related to processing plastic waste into various recycled creations such as bags, pencil cases, and different kinds of souvenirs. The training program is carried out by providing materials and direct training to increase the understanding and skills. To broaden people's insights, the team conducted training with the Ecoplantstic start-up, which focuses on developing waste-based products. Through the evaluation, it is known that the training provided can improve the knowledge and skills of the community in processing plastic waste into various recycled creations, and several participants plan to develop the skills acquired for entrepreneurial purposes.

Abstract

Various attempts have been made to combine in one composition to kill bacteria and detergents. So antiseptics such as coal tar, phenolic and crystalline preparations, mercury salts, as compounds of chlorides and iodides, arsenic and silver, and essential oils such as resin oil, terpenes, almond oil, and thyme oil. Has been used with soap, with alkaline salts of Long-chain fatty acids. The effective disinfectant is determined based on several parameters, namely: the phenol coefficient of the disinfectant and the water quality results measured from pH, dissolved oxygen (DO, dissolved oxygen), temperature and disinfectant cost.The antimicrobial effectiveness of the four selected disinfectants (Dettol, Izal, Z-Germicide and Jik) was determined using the agar diffusion method (disc paper). The results show that Dettol is most effective against the test organisms compared to other disinfectants. All noted the least antimicrobial activity. The phenol coefficient value also shows that Dettol is better when compared to other tested disinfectants. Disinfectant for external use is required to avoid infection or related disease caused by this test microorganism.This counselling was successful even though it encountered several obstacles during implementation. The steps that need to be done in making a disinfectant are determining the ingredients that are safest for humans but effective in eliminating various types of bacteria and viruses. The second stage is the implementation of activities. Activities carried out jointly by employees according to what has been planned. In the third stage, monitoring and evaluation of activities are carried out. This process is also carried out jointly with employees. Employees who work directly to random consumers will really need special knowledge on how to make disinfectant fluids. Keywords: Antiseptic, Disinfectant, Virus

Abstract

The current prolonged pandemic requires every individual to do social distancing and physical distancing. This made a difference study and work patterns. In order to overcome this and prepare workforce in the future, it requires an habituation of learning patterns and work through devices you own from your home or residence. To improve the performance of the learning process, an additional learning mechanism is needed on the use of technology, especially in the field of digital calculations. In order to solve this problem on the partner's side, the team made a solution, namely in the form of provisioning with a training pattern using Microsoft Excel which is the basis for a general calculation pattern commonly used both in the world of education and in the world of work and also the use of Google Spreadsheets. The method used in this debriefing is learning by doing, which is a method where every student who follows it will go directly to practice by following instructions from the training instructor from the PKM team. Based on the training provided, the average post test result is 76.6 from the 0-100 range, or increasment 23,28% at from Pre Test to Post test

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak and the enactment of the "New Normal" era created a tentative situation, especially with limited food commodities for the needs of all people during times of food insecurity. Food products are limited in number and prices are increasingly soaring in the market, making people have a solution to resistance from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the "New Normal" era, by realizing a sustainable food home area (KRPL), the community of housewives can meet their food needs, in addition to It is also a breakthrough that can provide an injection to the family economy if it is developed comprehensively. The activity will take place with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach focusing on the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group where each group will be limited to 20 people / group, besides that the implementation of education and counseling will apply health protocols according to the direction of the central government. It is hoped that the realization of a sustainable food house area (KRPL) will provide stimulus and solutions to the community so that they can survive, be productive and be independent in this pandemic. Keywords: Food, Commodities, Asset Based Community Development (ABCD).
