Abstract

South Korea's Busan region is the second largest port area in South Korea, has a dynamic economic ecosystem with many industrial sectors that attract local and foreign youth. However, adapting to the work environment in Busan is a challenge, especially for young people who are new to this environment. The competitive and highly disciplined work culture in South Korea is often difficult for young people in the Busan area to adapt to. Ergonomic injuries are a common problem in the productive age group. Activities in the industrial, education, and technology sectors increase the risk of injury due to inappropriate work postures. Frequently repetitive work by productive workers can cause musculoskeletal disorders such as back, neck, and wrist pain, which have an impact on work productivity. Unfortunately, youth awareness of the importance of ergonomics is still low. Therefore, socialization regarding ergonomic injuries is needed to increase youth awareness and understanding of the risks and how to prevent them. This activity includes education on correct work postures, adjustments to the workplace, and stretching practices after work to reduce muscle tension. The results of the implementation showed an increase in participants' understanding and their interest in applying ergonomic principles in everyday life. This activity succeeded in increasing understanding from 30% to 100% of participants meeting the criteria for basic understanding of ergonomics.

Abstract

This community service aims to develop the business strategy of Kipas Banyu Biru MSME through the implementation of website-based digital marketing. This MSME has experienced a decline in marketing due to limited use of technology, so digital transformation is needed to expand market reach and increase competitiveness. The methods used in the community service include the stages of data collection, website design and implementation, digital marketing system integration, digital advertising implementation, and performance analysis and evaluation. The website is designed to display product portfolios, business profiles, and direct communication features via WhatsApp Business. After implementation, the website is integrated with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to support data-based digital marketing activities. Results showed 345 new users, 1,900 interactions, and 674 page views within a month. The ad campaign generated 249 clicks (CTR 2.29%) with a 1.61% conversion rate, though further improvement is needed. With this digital foundation, the MSME is better positioned to enhance its presence in local and global markets.

Abstract

UKM Toolsku 3D Printing is one of the creative business actors in Kalasan District, Yogyakarta that produces goods based on 3D printing technology according to consumer demand. Despite having good production capacity, partners face obstacles in optimizing digital product marketing, limited attractive packaging, and low consumer awareness of the brands they own. These problems cause stagnation in business growth and low absorption of filament production. To overcome these challenges, this community service activity was carried out using a design thinking approach, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Through a participatory approach, partners are actively involved in every stage from identifying problems, formulating solutions, to implementing business process digitalization strategies. The main activities include introducing the concept of MSME digitalization, training in implementing information technology-based work systems, mentoring in improving branding and product packaging designs, creating digital e-catalogs on e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing training through social media. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in partners' understanding of digital technology, strengthening brand identity, and increasing engagement and market reach through online platforms. This activity has succeeded in forming the foundation of a sustainable digital system that is responsive to market needs. In addition, partners have demonstrated continued initiatives such as the appointment of special staff for digital marketing, reflecting the sustainability of the interventions carried out. Thus, this activity not only increases the internal capacity of UKM Toolsku, but can also be used as a model for digital-based empowerment for other UKMs in the current era of digital transformation.
