Abstract

The  purpose of  this  research is  to  describe:  1)  planning   of  school  library,  2) management of school library personnel, 3) information material management (collection) school library, 4 ) Budget  school library system, 5) building  and  layout of  school  library,  6) management problem  of  school  library,  7) ) the  efforts that have   been   done   to  overcome  school  library  management  problem  at  MAN 3 Padang City. This research is a qualitative research and  use case study research design. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. The method of data validity uses source triangulation and  method triangulation. Using interactive data analytics techniques. The results of the researchare: 1) the planning  includes the initial planning  and establishment of each period  of a year, 2) personnel management is good  enough but needs to be added by the manager, so that  each manager is more  focused on the task and function of each,  3)   material  the   information  (collections)  possessed  already   meet  the minimum  standards set  out   in  Permendiknas  Number   24   Year  2007   About Facilities and  Infrastructure School  / Madrasah Public  Education, 4) In the  budget management  system  using  the  traditional  approach budgeting  so doMANated financial  planning  instead of activity  planning, 5) The library space is not  suitable with  the  ratio  amount of  students, 6)managemen problem of  school library  are library space  is not  in accordance with the  ratio   amount  of students  and   lees librarians,  7) The effort   to  overcome the managemen problem that  is by making  a reading park, reading area, reading corner  to overcome the managemen problrm  of library space. Has requested the addition of school librarians to overcome the lack of lees librarians at MAN 3 Padang City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe spiritual leadership that can be applied in libraries to face the era of society 5.0. The results of this study indicate that social change towards the era of society 5.0 requires a leadership perspective that prioritizes innovation, motivation, human resource capabilities, and human relations. The leader is a factor that determines the success of the organization in achieving the goals that have been set. In the era of society 5.0, a good leadership pattern in the library is very much needed. In the context of the library, the concept of spiritual leadership will inspire and motivate human resources in achieving the vision and goals of the organization which in turn can produce superior human resources who have optimal abilities in carrying out library services productively. The pattern of spiritual leadership that combines vision, hope/belief and altruistic love can be a leadership choice that can be applied in the library.

Abstract

The oldest and most well-established information professionals are librarians, archivists, and museum curators. If you want to expand, the information profession includes librarians, archivists, those who practice information science, information management, librarians with information development, record management, and documentation. In a broader definition, information includes visual objects and three-dimensional objects that are preserved because of the quality of the information, so the information profession includes curators in museums. So in this case the information officer handling external publicity and communication of a cooperative body is also included in the information profession.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected every area of public life, including the role of information managers in the information service process. The Information Manager made various efforts to provide information services during a pandemic, one of which was by the manager of the Sahabat Pena Community Library (TBM). This study aims to determine the role of the Sahabat Pena Community Library manager, the programs being carried out, and the parties working together in providing information services to the community. The method used is to conduct a literature review, observation, and online interviews with the community Library managers. The results of the study show that the role of the Sahabat Pena Community Library is to become an educator and field activist. Programs carried out in the information service effort are Jumat Berkah, Peduli Lansia, Donasi Buku, and Diskusi Aktifis Group. Information services are carried out directly by still paying attention to health protocols and online by utilizing social media. And in collaboration with the Karang Taruna and the Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Gununghalu District in an effort to accelerate and facilitate the implementation of the program being carried out.Keyword: Information services, the role of information manager, Sahabat Pena community library

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to increase the role of the Surakarta Special Program Batik Middle School library as a professional library. The study used a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were teachers and librarians at the Surakarta Special Program Batik Junior High School. The time of the research was carried out during the Internship of the Library Management Practice starting on March 19-March 26, 2021. The data sources came from interviews, observations, and direct documentation at the Surakarta Special Program Batik Middle School. The data of this research are matters related to efforts to increase the role of the school library as a professional library. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction. The results of this study are efforts that can improve the Surakarta Special Program Batik Middle School library as a professional library including: 1) complementing library materials or collections in the library, 2) providing maximum library services in the form of borrowing and returning books, hotspot services that can accessible to anyone, and reference services, 3) providing adequate library facilities and infrastructure, 4) library management is carried out by teachers who also serve as librarians and are given training or workshops related to library science, and 5) organize library rooms according to standards.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pustakawan terampilan golongan III dan pustakawan ahli yang ditugaskan melakukan kegiatan shelving dapat melaksanakan kegiatan shelving dapat melaksanakan tugs pokoknya yang lain guna pencapaian SKP (SKP). Hasil dari pengkajian ini menunjukkan bahwa lamanya jam kerja sehari 7 jam (420 menit), agar tugas pokok pustakawan ahli terpenuhi waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menshelving dalam satu hari kerja selama jam kerja, di butuhkan waktu 2 jam (120 menit) dengan jumlah buku yang tershelving sebanyak 360 eksemplar. Tersisa waktu 5 jam (300 menit) untuk mengerjakan tugas pokok pustakawan yang lain. Dikarenakan kegiatan (shelving) merupakan tugas pokok yang tidak biasa diperhitungakan untuk mencapai SKP tetapi jadi harus di kerjakan sebagai tugas ANS, oleh karena itu pelaksanaan shelving dalam jam kerja dilakukan diwaktu pagi disaat mahasiswa belum banyak yang datang berkunjung ke perpustakaaan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of obsolescence of a literature and determine the author's productivity with the law of lotka in the literature on entrepreneurship in 2015-2019. The research method used is quantitative research methods by conducting citation analysis. In analyzing data, data is collected, submitted, processed and then presented in tables and graphs. The result of the research is the obsolescence level of the literature with an article entitled "The Effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Performance with Service Quality, Satisfaction and Behavior Intention as Antecedents" with the obsolescence of literature and half-life of the last 17 years. And the shortest time for literature obsolescence is only 5 years, the article is entitled: "The Effect of Using Cooperative Learning Type Think-Pair-Share (Tps) on Entrepreneurship Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of Even Semester SMP Kartikatama 1 Metro T.P 2015/2016". Then for the calculation of authors who are often cited, namely I Ghozali, Singh, Sangeeta, Wafa, S.A and Suharti L. Each of the authors of the articles is the writer with the second rank on the subject of entrepreneurship. Most of the writers produce one article. The most productive writer produced 4 articles and got first place, namely Wiliams, then Muhammad Hassan and Berry L were in second place by producing 2 articles in the 2015-2019 period while the third rank was occupied by authors who produced 1 article in the 2015-2019 period, namely as many as 156 authors. Based on the test of Lotka's law on Entrepreneurship articles, it has an exponential value of (n) 3.7537, with the set (C) 0.9127 or 91.27%. From the graph it can be seen that there is a relationship between the number of authors and the number of articles produced as in the lotka law. The fewer the number of writers, the more articles are produced.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, which was first discovered in China, has now spread in various parts of the world, including Indonesia. To deal with the spread of this epidemic, the government and several Diponegoro Universities issued several regulations that were used to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The existence of a number of these regulations have an impact on activities that occur in the community and also the activities of learning activities in universities. All activities are shifted from being carried out on campus to at home. This makes the academics of Diponegoro University unable to access information resources in the library. Libraries make some anticipatory steps to overcome this obstacle, namely among them is to optimize the sources of information available and make some innovation services that exist in the library at this time. This is done so that the main purpose of the library to be able to provide satisfaction to users of the services provided can be fulfilled.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan analisis niat pemustaka dalam membaca koleksi rujukan di perpustakaan umum. Disetiap perpustakaan terdapat berbagai macam koleksi contohnya karya cetak, karya non-cetak, karya grafika, karya tulis, dan masih banyak lagi. Namun, terdapat koleksi khusus yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber rujukan. Dalam hal ini peneliti membahas niat pemustaka dalam membaca tesis dan disertasi, terbitan niaga, majalah dan surat kabar, dan bahan pustaka bentuk mikro dan pandang dengar sebagai sumber rujukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data secara kualitatif kemudian memberikan interpretasi. Data yang didapat adalah hasil observasi dan studi pustaka yang didapat dari sumber literasi yang ada. Hasil yang didapat bahwa tesis dan disertasi, terbitan niaga, majalah dan surat kabar, dan bahan pustaka bentuk mikro dan pandang dengar dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber rujukan. Perbandingan niat membaca dengan koresponden penelitian berjumlah 10 orang berbanding 2:10. Yang mana itu artinya hanya 2 orang yang berniat untuk membaca koleksi rujukan. Sisanya berniat untuk membaca koleksi umum.

Abstract

Librarians are people who are experts in the field of librarianship. Some aspects related to librarianship, one of which is the library. Theoretically, the library is an information institution that has several functions such as: information, book storage, research, education, recreation, and others. As library managers, librarians should be able to realize all library functions, so that their existence as an information institution can be felt by the information community. journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, CDs, DVDs and other collections. In this paper, it can be concluded. First, librarians should understand how they relate to information, so that after they are about each other, they have the convenience of developing and processing them. Second, librarians have the ability to maximize the utilization of information in the library, such as by minimally procuring and disseminating information to the maximum. The three librarians understand information literacy so that librarians really provide information that is relevant to the needs of users and other information users.
