Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to determine differences in students' initial reading skills by applying the Sramble learning model assisted by the Smart Reading Board Media with the institution's word method in class I SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. This research was conducted in May 2019. With a population of students in grade I of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan and the sample consisted of two classes, namely class I (Al-Furqon) as an experimental class and class I (Al-Fatihah) as a control class. The technique in taking the sample used is Random Sampling. The research data were processed with the help of SPSS V.21 for Windows Software. The results showed that there were no differences in the results of initial reading ability by applying the Scramble Type Cooperative Learning Model aided by the Smart Reading Board Media with the Institution Word Method. The results of the Independent Sample T-test on students' initial reading ability were obtained tcount = 0,037 at the 0,05 significance level and df = 53, obtained ttable = 2,01 means tcount ? ttable. This it can be concluded that there is no difference in the ability to read the beginning of students by applying the Sramble learning model assisted by the Smart Reading Board Media with the Institution Word Method in Grade I students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Scramble Berbantuan Media Papan Baca Pintar dengan Metode Kata Lembaga di kelas I SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan.Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2019. Dengan populasi siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan dan sampel yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas I (Al-Furqon) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas I (Al-Fatihah) sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Random Sampling. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan bantuan software SPSS V.21 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Scramble berbantuan Media Papan Baca Pintar dengan Metode Kata Lembaga. Hasil uji Independent Sample t-Test pada hasil belajar IPA siswa diperoleh thitung = 0,037 pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 dan df = 53, diperoleh ttabel = 2,01 berarti thitung ? ttabel. Abstract

Abstract                 The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of healthy canteens to the character of students in SDN-SN Kuripan 2 Banjarmasin. The object of this study was the effect of the application of healthy canteens to the character of students in SDN-SN kuripan 2 Banjarmasin, while the subjects in this study were SDN-SN students Excerpt 2 Banjarmasin. The research sample was 10 students in IVC class and 10 students in VA class. The method used is descriptive quantitative, using data digging tools, namely: Questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are: Simple Linear Regression, and Conclusions. The conclusions of the study of the influence of the application of healthy canteens to the character of students in SDN-SN excerpts 2 Banjarmasin are as follows: tcount> ttable at a 5% significant level of 3,141> 1,697. Thus there is the effect of the application of healthy canteens to the character of students in the National Standard State School Curriculum 2 Banjarmasin. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that school residents, especially teachers and hawker sellers in the canteen should always provide ethical and moral learning to their students, so that students are expected to have good dedication and health, as well as teach students about the importance of independence from an early age, accustoming students to throw trash in places that have been provided in each of the canteens, responsibility with the school environment includes taking care of cleaning the school canteen.   Abstrak   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan kantin sehat terhadap karakter siswa di SDN-SN Kuripan 2 Banjarmasin.Objek penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penerapan kantin sehat terhadap karakter siswa di SDN-SN kuripan 2 Banjarmasin, sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN-SN Kuripan 2  Banjarmasin. Adapun sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVC yang berjumlah 10 orang dan kelas VA yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan alat penggali data yaitu: Angket, dan dokomentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu : Regresi Linier Sederhana, dan Kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian dari pengaruh penerapan kantin sehat terhadap karakter siswa di SDN-SN kuripan 2 Banjarmasin adalah sebagai berikut: thitung  >  ttabel pada tarap signifikan 5% yaitu 3,141> 1,697. Dengan demikian  ada pengaruh penerapan kantin sehat terhadap karakter siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Standar Nasional Kuripan 2 Banjarmasin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka disarankan kepada warga sekolah khususnya guru dan penjual jajanan di kantin hendaknya selalu memberikan pembelajaran etika dan moral kepada siswa nya, sehingga diharapkan siswa memiliki dedikasi dan kesehatan yang baik, sekaligus mengajarkan siswa tentang pentingnya kemandirian sejak dini, membiasakan siswa membuang sampah pada tempat yang sudah disediakan disetiap masing-masing kantin, tanggung jawab dengan lingkungan sekolahnya termasuk ikut menjaga kebersihan kantin sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract                 As far as the society civilization developed, education has to be able to answer the future challenges. Indonesia?s education is obligated to face the 4.0 industrial revolution era. There are three aspects in the education institution that must be balanced-undergo. Those are scholars and professionals. They must be able to run and co-operate the education system maximally. Indonesia is consisted of variousrace and religion. If those differences could not be navigated, they would be obstacles in the education system implementation. Students will be the main role model as the future generation successor. Also, students have to maintain the Bhineka through character education to face the future challenges. This paper is aimed to create the student?s tolerance and cooperation through education character system based on 2013 Curiculum. This curriculum is focusing on learning system that navigated to character education strengthening. Those character educations are nationalism behavior development, integrity, independent, mutual assistance and religious. Those are also expected to implement that could be as an effort to maintain the Bhineka.   Abstrak Seiring berkembangnya peradaban dan zaman, pendidikan harus mampu menjawab tantangan dimasa mendatang. Pendidikan di Indonesia harus mampu menghadapi era revolusi industry 4.0. Ada tiga aspek dalam lembaga pendidikan yang harus berjalan seimbang, yakni tenaga pendidik, sistem pendidikan, dan peserta didik yang berkompeten. Dalam hal ini, peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik harus mampu bekerja sama melaksanakan sistem pendidikan dengan maksimal. Indonesia terdiri dari beberapa suku, ras dan agama. Apabila perbedaan tersebut tidak diarahkan maka akan menjadi penghambat dalam pelaksanaan sistem pendidikan. Peserta didik menjadi tokoh utama sebagai penerus generasi bangsa. Peserta didik harus mampu mempertahankan kebhinekaan melalui pendidikan karakter untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Makalah ini ditulis dengan tujuan agar peserta didik dapat membangun kerja sama dan toleransi melalui program pendidikan karakter berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Kurikulum 2013 menitikberatkan sistem pembelajaran yang mengarahkan pada penguatan pendidikan karakter. Adapun pendidikan karakter yang dimaksud adalah pengembangan sikap nasionalisme, integritas, mandiri, gotong royong, dan religius. Diharapkan melalui kurikulum 2013 peserta didik dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang bisa dijadikan salah satu upaya untuk mempertahankan kebhinekaan.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study was to reveal the relationship between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Critical thinking skills have already been important research material in 21st-century learning activities. Students with critical thinking skills always evaluate ideas systematically and logically. Ideas were evaluated through a cognitive activity that was analytical thinking and uses mental processes in decision making. In addition, learning activities were inseparable from student learning outcomes because those were indicators to evaluate learning activities. This raises questions about the relationship between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes, especially in elementary schools. This research used correlational design. Critical thinking skills and students learning outcomes were measured by written test. Data were analyzed with ANOVA and regression analysis. The subject of the research was the fifth-grade elementary school students. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. As an implication, these discoveries of research are needed by teachers in developing critical thinking skills in elementary school.     Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis sudah menjadi bahan kajian penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran abad 21. Siswa dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis selalu mengevaluasi ide secara sistematis dan logis. Ide dievaluasi melalui aktivitas kognitif yakni berpikir analitis dan menggunakan proses mental dalam pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari hasil belajar siswa karena merupakan indikator untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional, di mana keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai prediktor dan hasil belajar sebagai kriteria. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa diukur dengan tes tertulis dalam bentuk uraian. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan analisis regresi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Sebagai implikasinya, temuan penelitian ini diperlukan oleh guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the influence of the make a match learning model compared with expository learning models on the understanding of students' social science concepts. This research uses quasi-experimental research with pretest - posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students at Tanggul Rejo 2 Public Elementary School in Marabahan District, consisting of class V A totaling 20 students as experimental class and 22 students of class V B as control class in semester II of the academic year 2017/2018. The selection of the experimental class and the control class based on the characteristics of students that are almost the same, by random method. The random results of class V A were selected as the experimental class using the make a match learning model and class V B as the control class using the expository learning model. The data analysis technique used independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed that the make a match learning model had a more significant effect than the expository learning model on the understanding of the social studies concept of students in SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05.

Abstract

Teacher daily observation show that students often do rowdy, seeking attention with do the bad something and difficult to control is a child of the broken home family. It is then encourage to conduct research with the objectives to undertake a deeper case study on the influence of broken home family against the moral and psychosocial development of grade V students of SDN 1 Sumberbaru. The study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Participants in this study were chosen with purposive samples, so that two students from the fifth grade of SDN 1 Sumberbaru were M.J. S and M.K.L. The data analysis techniques use thematic analysis. Research results describe that broken home family have influenced on moral and psychosocial development of participants. It can be described as bad moral behavior that arises: make mistakes and do not want to apologize; often do not obey the school order; and seek attention by making noise during lesson hours. The behavior of his psychosocial development is the following: not the spirit of learning a new experience; the child is not confident; and often compare herself with friends.

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. Not only for school students but also college student, especially PGSD students. The level of students' ability to solve problems can be seen using SOLO taxonomy. Using the SOLO taxonomy, the quality of students' answers to a problem can be analyzed based on the complexity of understanding. SOLO's taxonomy consists of 5 levels, namely (1) Pre-Structural Level, (2) Uni-Structural Level, (3) Multi-Structural Level, (4) Relational Level, (5) Expanded Abstract Level. This study uses qualitative research that describes the ability to solve the problem solving linear inequality system of two variables in PGSD students using SOLO taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the ability of PGSD students to solve problem solving problems varies. From the five SOLO taxonomic levels, there are PGSD students who meet levels 2 to 5, namely the Uni-Structural Level, Multi-Structural Level, Relational Level, Expanded Abstract Level. There are no students who meet level 1 in the SOLO taxonomy namely Pre-Structural Level.

Abstract

This development research aims to be able to produce textbooks using 4D models for prospective elementary teacher students by emphasizing the results of analysis of elementary students' thinking and character education based. In addition, this study aims to determine the appropriateness of numerical logic textbooks through analysis of elementary school students' thinking. The development model used was adapted from the 4D development model with four stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection and analysis techniques used are documentation to obtain data related to textbooks, observations in analyzing the thinking flow of elementary school students and also during trials, as well as the results of validation from material and language experts. The results of the development showed that the feasibility of material and language obtained an average score of 3.88 with the Good category so that the textbook was declared valid and could be used in lectures. While the limited trial results obtained an average score of 4.3 in the category of very practice and in the final trial the average score of 4.2 obtained in the category of very practice.

Abstract

The quality education in Indonesia need to be increased balancing between technology and knowledge. One of the way to increasing is the quality of education. The process of education is centered in students as a subjects of education. The teacher is the main of potency, creativity and motivation to theirs students to increasing the process of learning. Learning based on society said that society is important things in process of students learning. Social environment and culture is important things in this method. Social interaction between students and society helpful students to be better in education. Teacher can help social environment to make education process becomes better. The implication of teaching and learning process is in theme are social environment clean and healthy to make the class being more interactive and the process of learning to be more responsibility. So the process of teaching and learning able to construct between knowledge and all participant in this process.

Abstract

Recently, various phenomena have emerged in the community that indicate conflicts in various circles in various aspects of life, giving the impression that the Indonesian nation is experiencing a crisis of ethics and self-identity. Character education is expected to be an alternative solution for behavioral and moral improvement. Meanwhile, from several reports, Indonesian students consider it difficult to do mathematical activities. One alternative to overcome these difficulties is through character learning based on Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) -Contextual use of the Virtual Lab by conditioning students to learn by themselves according to their real life (daily life) rather than memorizing and students can develop their potential independently and creatively owned. For this reason, the writing of this paper is intended to develop and design a CAI-Contextual character based mathematics learning model using Virtual Lab as an alternative to improve the character quality and students' ability to do mathematics. Based on the results of theoretical studies and discussions, it was concluded that through the application of CAI-Contextual using a Virtual Lab in learning mathematics character in elementary school, it is expected to: (1) overcome the low ability of elementary students' mathematical thinking, (2) reduce the lack of effective learning models used by teachers in maximizing the potential that exists in elementary students, (3) increasing understanding of the facts learned, and (4) skillfully applying mathematics in solving problems of daily life, and (5) improving the quality of student character.
