Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic values in shaping students' character in the era of globalization. Globalization has a significant impact on cultural and moral values, making character education increasingly important in preparing students to face global challenges. Islamic values, grounded in the Quran and Hadith, offer relevant moral guidance for navigating the complexities of this era. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, analyzing secondary data from various credible journals and books. The findings indicate that integrating Islamic values into character education can be achieved through various approaches, including curriculum design, school activities, and teacher role modeling. Challenges in implementation include students' diverse backgrounds and external influences, yet opportunities arise through information access and global collaboration. The study concludes that a comprehensive and systematic integration of Islamic values is essential to developing students with strong character, noble ethics, and the ability to contribute positively to the global community

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic educational values in the development of entrepreneurship within the educational sphere. Through a qualitative descriptive literature study approach, this research analyzes various secondary sources such as journal articles and relevant academic books. The findings identify Islamic educational values that have significant relevance to entrepreneurship, including honesty (siddiq), trust (amanah), halal principles, avoidance of riba (usury), leadership, responsibility, hard work, creativity, and innovation. This study also explores strategies for implementing this integration within curricula, teaching methods, training, and entrepreneurship programs in Islamic educational institutions. Additionally, it examines internal and external challenges as well as opportunities in developing entrepreneurship based on Islamic values. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic educational values and entrepreneurship development in shaping Indonesia's younger generation to be not only morally upright and independent but also to possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

 21st-century education demands the development of student character that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses a visionary leadership spirit and the ability to compete globally. This article aims to explore strategies and approaches for cultivating student leadership from an early age, with a focus on integrating leadership values, strengthening character, and leveraging global technology. This approach includes curriculum development, extracurricular activities, leadership training, and international collaboration. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation related to student development activities. The findings indicate that student leadership is strengthened through the integration of character-based curricula, leadership training, international collaboration, and the use of technology and digitalization. The study concludes that visionary leadership can be instilled through a holistic, contextual, and globally competitive education process. Vocational education plays a crucial role in preparing young generations who are not only technically skilled but also possess strong leadership character and the ability to compete on a global scale

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the project-based learning (PjBL) model, which relies on scientific paper assignments, is in instilling modern skills in elementary schools. Data were collected at SD Insan Cendekia Madani BSD through observation, interviews, and document analysis. A descriptive qualitative approach and case study design were used to collect data. This study shows that the implementation of PjBL is carried out in stages, starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. Teachers play an active role in helping students compile and present scientific papers. This model encourages students to think critically, work together in teams, write better, and speak well through presentations. However, the implementation process still faces several challenges. These include time constraints, lack of teacher training in scientific approaches, and suboptimal curriculum and infrastructure support. Overall, this method has considerable potential to provide students with an applicable, contextual learning experience that is in accordance with the demands of the 21st century, especially in the context of elementary education

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesia faces challenges in instilling a deep and relevant understanding of Islamic teachings, especially the concept of Islam Rahmatan lil 'Alamin, amidst globalization and cultural diversity. A comprehensive understanding of Islam as a blessing for the universe is crucial to building students' tolerant, moderate, and peace-loving characters. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework for PAI teaching materials that integrate the values of Indonesian local wisdom to improve students' understanding of Islam Rahmatan lil 'Alamin. The research method used is a qualitative literature study, by analyzing and synthesizing data from various relevant literature sources provided, including scientific journal articles, theses, and guidance documents. The results of the analysis indicate the potential for strong synergy between the objectives of PAI, the noble values in local wisdom of the archipelago (such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, tolerance, justice, and social and environmental harmony), and the essence of Islam Rahmatan lil 'Alamin. Identification of various examples of local wisdom from various regions, such as the Ngejot tradition in Lombok, Metabe' in Mandar, the values of Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, Sipakainge' in Bugis, and Maja Labo Dahu in Bima, show alignment with universal Islamic values. Integration of this local wisdom into Islamic Religious Education teaching materials, through active, participatory, and contextual learning strategies—in line with the theory of Contextual Learning (CTL)—is identified as a promising approach. The proposed Contextual-Integrative Islamic Religious Education Teaching Materials Based on Local Wisdom (PAIKIB-RL) model has the potential to increase the relevance of Islamic Religious Education learning, strengthen students' cultural identity, and significantly deepen their understanding of Islam Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin. This study has implications for the need for innovation in the development of Islamic Religious Education curriculum and teaching materials, increasing teacher capacity, and further research for empirical validation of the proposed model

Abstract

 Improving the quality of Islamic education in the midst of globalization and digitalization has become a necessity that demands an effective assessment system. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the concept of assessment system management, its implementation models, the role of technology, and strategic challenges and solutions in the context of improving the quality of Islamic education based on literature studies from indexed journals. The method used is a literature study by analyzing relevant articles from the database. The main findings show that effective assessment system management involves planning, designing, implementing, monitoring, and continuous evaluation. There is a close relationship between effective assessment and improving the quality of Islamic education holistically, which includes not only cognitive aspects, but also affective and spiritual aspects. Various innovative assessment models such as competency-based, authentic, formative assessment, and those integrated with Total Quality Management (TQM) are identified as relevant approaches. Technology plays a crucial role in optimizing the assessment system, although its implementation is faced with structural and cultural challenges. This study concludes that adaptive, integrated, and data-based assessment system management is a fundamental prerequisite for realizing quality Islamic education that is relevant to the demands of the times. The implications of these findings are intended for policy makers, education practitioners, and researchers to develop and implement better assessment systems to support the advancement of Islamic education. Understanding that the quality of Islamic education goes beyond academic achievement, requires an assessment system that is able to measure dimensions of student development as a whole, including character and spirituality
