Abstract

The Islamic insurance industry in Indonesia has shown significant growth, but challenges in developing specialized products such as Property All Risk (PAR) insurance remain high, particularly in terms of sharia compliance and product innovation. This study aims to analyze the PAR insurance product development strategy at PT Jasindo Syariah Medan Branch through a sharia strategic management perspective. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the product development strategy is carried out strictly in accordance with sharia principles by selecting insurance objects based on halal-haram, adjusting benefits based on local conditions, and implementing standard policy wording from regulators. A value-based strategy, collaboration with Islamic institutions, and a focus on service are the main differentiations amidst limited innovation due to uniform product regulations. However, low public literacy, minimal branch autonomy, and limited product innovation are the main obstacles. This study concludes that the strategy of PT Jasindo Syariah Medan Branch is in accordance with the principles of sharia strategic management, but needs to be strengthened in terms of market education and operational flexibility to increase competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, education costs, and future orientation on financial well-being in taking education insurance policies in Deli Serdang Regency. The background of this study is based on the low level of insurance literacy and inclusion in Indonesia, especially in education insurance products, which has implications for less than optimal family financial planning for children's education needs. Through a quantitative approach, this study examines the relationship between the three independent variables on people's financial well-being in the context of decisions to take education insurance policies. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy and future orientation have a significant positive effect on financial well-being, while the high cost of education is an inhibiting factor in making education insurance decisions. These findings emphasize the importance of financial education and increasing public awareness of future planning in order to achieve family financial well-being, as well as the need for strategies to reduce education costs so that education insurance is more affordable and inclusive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of copywriting training on the development of soft skills in students of SMA Nasional Bandung City. Soft skills are important competencies that students need to have, including communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research design and multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 100 students who participated in copywriting training, with independent variables being student motivation, copywriting training, and creativity. The results of the analysis show that copywriting training has a positive and significant effect on the development of students' soft skills (p-value = 0.015). Creativity also has a very significant effect with a very small p-value (0.000), while student motivation does not have a significant effect on the development of soft skills (p-value = 0.195). The regression model used has an R Square value of 0.980, which means that 98% of the variation in soft skill development can be explained by the variables tested. This study concludes that copywriting and creativity training play an important role in improving students' soft skills, while student motivation does not show a significant effect in this model.

Abstract

Planning the delivery and distribution of goods from upstream to downstream cannot be separated from several problems related to shipping costs. It is true that, considering the size of the volume of shipping goods, the question arises about how shipping costs depend on this variable. The relationship between the size of the volume of shipping goods and shipping costs is not an easy one. In particular, the influence of costs depending on vehicle capacity constraints is distinguished. On the other hand, the variable of delivery accuracy also greatly influences delivery costs, in the case of some goods that require special handling, this is very much taken into consideration. From these considerations, the author decided to highlight several factors that influence shipping costs, namely the volume, weight of goods and delivery accuracy, which will later influence customer satisfaction, which is carried out through expedition services, forwarders or shipping lines. The results confirm our hypothesis that transportation has the advantage to provide better services for customers in terms of shipping costs by considering aspects of volume and delivery accuracy. Although when evaluating the accuracy of goods delivery, some customers do not pay much attention to this when the production goods they send are general goods, they need to take into account the possible risks that arise when the production goods they send rot quickly or are dangerous goods, because this is important for accuracy of delivery.
