Abstract

The development of marketplaces has facilitated digital transactions; however, it has also increased the circulation of counterfeit flavoring products that potentially cause economic and health-related harm to consumers. This study aims to analyze marketplace responsibility for the distribution of such products and to examine it from the perspective of maqashid al-shariah. The legal research method employed in this study is a normative-empirical legal approach, with data collected through literature review and observation of the sales practices of counterfeit flavoring products in marketplaces. The data were analyzed qualitatively through normative interpretation, comparison between legal norms and actual practices, and evaluation based on the principles of maqashid al-shariah. The findings indicate that marketplace supervision remains reactive and has not been optimally implemented in a preventive manner, thereby allowing the widespread circulation of counterfeit products. From the perspective of maqashid al-shariah, marketplace responsibility is not merely formal as a platform provider, but also encompasses an active obligation to prevent harm, protect consumer welfare, and ensure justice in digital transactions. This responsibility is closely related to the protection of life (hifz al-nafs), the protection of property (hifz al-mal), and the protection of lineage (hifz al-nasl). Therefore, marketplace operators bear both ethical and legal responsibilities to implement preventive supervision, seller verification, product control mechanisms, and consumer protection measures as part of realizing the objectives of Sharia in digital economic activities

Abstract

In the digital era, adolescents are increasingly exposed to a consumer lifestyle that can influence their financial habits. This study aims to analyze the influence of savings motivation and peer influence on the financial habits of adolescents in Tolada Village. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational and cross-sectional design. A sample of 133 adolescent respondents aged 15–21 years was obtained through stratified random sampling. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire whose validity and reliability have been tested. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using SPSS version 22. The results showed that simultaneously, savings motivation and peer influence significantly influenced adolescents' financial habits (p < 0.05). However, partially, neither savings motivation nor peer influence showed a significant influence individually. This finding indicates that adolescents' financial habits are more influenced by a combination of several factors simultaneously. Therefore, a holistic approach involving financial education, social support, and the role of the environment is key to forming healthy financial habits among adolescents

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing safety/security satisfaction and safety performance in the SPAM WOSUSOKAS pipeline construction project. Specifically, it examines the effects of work equipment and environmental factors, human behavior, and organizational climate on safety/security satisfaction, as well as the effects of safety/security satisfaction and job satisfaction on safety performance. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a census method involving 489 project workers. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that work equipment and environmental factors, human behavior, and organizational climate have positive and significant effects on safety/security satisfaction. Furthermore, safety/security satisfaction and job satisfaction significantly and positively affect safety performance. These findings suggest that improving safety performance requires an integrated approach that emphasizes safe work equipment and environments, compliance with safety procedures, and a safety-oriented organizational climate. This study provides empirical evidence and practical implications for enhancing occupational safety management in high-risk infrastructure construction projects.

Abstract

Poverty is a multidimensional development challenge that requires integrated and sustainable policy responses. Central Maluku Regency has introduced several innovative poverty alleviation programs, namely Masohi Merakyat, Dompet Siafa, and MANTAB (Pinjaman Tanpa Bunga, Interest-Free Loans), as locally driven initiatives to address poverty. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of these innovative programs and to formulate policy strategies for accelerating poverty reduction in Central Maluku Regency. This study employed a descriptive approach that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings indicate that, while the implementation of the innovation programs can be classified as effective, their overall level of effectiveness remains relatively modest, with several indicators falling within the moderately effective category. Key constraints identified include limitations in the accuracy of poverty data, insufficient program socialization, suboptimal cross-sectoral synergy, and weaknesses in monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Based on a SWOT analysis, this study recommends an aggressive strategy focused on strengthening program convergence, improving data quality, optimizing stakeholder collaboration, and enhancing adaptive monitoring and evaluation systems that are responsive to local conditions.

Abstract

The increase in online lending distribution in Indonesia in 2024 was not accompanied by a uniform level of credit risk across regions. This study aims to categorize online lending regions in Indonesia based on outstanding values and 90-day default rates (TWP90) using a quantitative approach based on the K-Means algorithm. Secondary data from all provinces was analyzed using RapidMiner and evaluated using the Davies–Bouldin Index (DBI). The test results showed a DBI of 0.746 at K=2, 0.376 at K=3, and 0.564 at K=4. Although K=2 yielded the lowest DBI, the K=3 model was chosen because it provided a more informative and policy-relevant risk classification. The clustering resulted in three risk clusters: Low Risk, with outstanding values and TWP90 below average; Medium Risk, with values above average; and High Risk, characterized by a very high TWP90 level despite relatively low outstanding values. These findings confirm the effectiveness of K-Means in mapping online lending risks based on regions and support more precise credit monitoring. Keywords: online loans, K-Means clustering, default risk, outstanding, TWP90.

Abstract

This study examines the internal and external factors influencing the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ambon City, with particular attention to business legality through the Business Identification Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha, NIB) and halal product certification. A qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach was employed, drawing on in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving 20 informants comprising MSME actors and relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that internal motivation, awareness of legal compliance, and commitment to halal principles constitute key strengths. In contrast, limited access to capital, low administrative literacy, and reliance on external facilitators emerge as significant internal constraints. Externally, free NIB registration and halal certification programs, mentoring initiatives, and improved access to financing and markets present substantial opportunities. However, these opportunities are tempered by challenges such as limited availability of halal raw materials and technical barriers associated with digital systems. A weighted SWOT analysis (Internal Factor Analysis Summary, IFAS and External Factor Analysis Summary, EFAS) identifies four strategic directions: (1) accelerating business legality and halal certification (S-O); (2) strengthening internal capacity through integrated mentoring (W-O); (3) mitigating external threats through internal discipline and regulatory adaptation (S-T); and (4) adopting defensive strategies based on business scale adjustment (W-T). The study concludes that integrating NIB registration with halal certification can enhance MSME competitiveness, expand market access, and support long-term sustainability in Ambon City.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a strategic instrument for manufacturing firms to address environmental and social challenges while simultaneously supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to examine the impact of CSR programs on the development and empowerment of MSMEs in the manufacturing sector. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was employed to synthesize and analyze prior empirical studies published in Scopus-indexed journals between 2019 and 2023. The review process followed a structured protocol, including article identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and qualitative synthesis, resulting in nine highly relevant studies. The findings indicate that CSR implementation in the manufacturing sector positively contributes to MSME empowerment through improved access to resources, enhanced managerial and technical capabilities, increased market opportunities, and strengthened environmental awareness. CSR initiatives focusing on environmental management, energy efficiency, waste reduction, education, and community development were found to play a crucial role in mitigating the negative environmental impacts of manufacturing activities while fostering sustainable MSME growth. Furthermore, institutional pressures—normative, coercive, and mimetic—were identified as significant drivers influencing corporate engagement in CSR practices. Overall, this study highlights that CSR serves not only as a mechanism for corporate accountability but also as a catalyst for inclusive economic development and sustainability. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and manufacturing firms in designing effective CSR strategies that support MSME empowerment and promote long-term social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
