Abstract

This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data sources used were words and actions as well as written sources. The techniques of research subject collection were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data collection techniques chosen were observation, interview, documentation, and triangulations. Data validity testing techniques included triangulation of technical resources. The data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/ verification. Based on the research findings, the implementation of the link and match program starts from the preparation/ planning stage, the implementation of the teaching and learning process in schools and the cooperation with the industry, and the evaluation stage. The supporting factor for the link and match is the cooperation between the school and DU/DI. In addition, there are a positive responses from students, parents, DU/DI, and the government. There are wo inhibiting factors of the link and match, namely internal and external factors. The solutions used to overcome the problems that occurred are (a) the school always provides supplies and maximizes the practice unit; (b) the school tries to maximize the existing curriculum with work processes in industry so as not to deviate from the core competencies or basic competencies (KI/KD) determined by the Education Office.

Abstract

This paper discusses "Normative and Historical Perspective Religious Pluralism, which includes two main problems, namely: First, how is religious pluralism in a historical perspective. Second, how is religious pluralism with a normative perspective. Religious pluralism in the perspective of revelation (Normative) is not only part of a humanitarian task but also a dimension of the Muslim’s level, devotion and a religious duty which is the value of worship in the sight of Allah SWT. Whereas historically, the religious attitude in the midst of a plural society was exemplified by the Prophet in the early days of Islam, so that in its development it became the religion that most respected the values of plurality. Therefore, in its development, Muslims do not need to feel a dilemma if in their life they have to intersect with other religions, instead they must be used as life partners in facing the benefit of the people.

Abstract

Literature has shown that effective teachers have succeeded in making students feel good about school and learning, thus increasing student achievement. Moreover, students in an actively taught class do a better job of learning (memorizing) the material they are exposed to, compared to those in a passively taught section. The main goal of this paper is to show that the teaching methods of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are successful tools for engineering education.  First, to fully deliver his message, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) addressed the hearts of followers to become the beloved one in order to inspire them to listen to his message. Secondly, in order to maximize the effects of his message, he used a type of speech that made his followers think during his educational methods. He utilized analogies and active learning strategies to enhance the imagination and curiosity of the listeners. As utilized by The Prophet (PBUH), the literature review highlights the use of analogies and active learning have a positive impact on both performance and the motivation of students to learn. Moreover, these teaching strategies engage students in higher thinking to be deeply involved in learning. From this perspective, the success of the utilization of the teaching methodology of our Beloved Teacher (PBUH) is demonstrated by the fact that the performance of thirty-eight (69%) students was higher in a process control course than the average performance in the department. Additionally, the results also show that the combined methodology, including analogies and active learning, increased the intrinsic motivation of twenty-two (40%) students.

Abstract

This paper discusses "Uruf in the perspective of Islamic law" by revealing problems, namely: (1) What is the position of uruf in istinbath of Islamic law, and (2) How is the application of uruf in Islamic Sharia laws. The position of uruf in istinbath of Islamic law is very important and can be a basis for legal considerations. The law of fiqhiyyah states that custom is punishable. Meanwhile, the application of uruf in Islamic Sharia laws is a source of law, especially in matters of muamalah, munakahah, and other social relations. Islamic law, which is closely related to interaction with fellow humans, is greatly influenced by the customs in society.

Abstract

The fundamental dialectical theory of the Berger model claims that humans are a product of society and society is a human product, so both require interaction and dialectics to influence each other in social life. Until the scope of the rite, each human is a judge to have a specific social function, if he has the influence to regulate, maintain, and transmit sentiments from one generation to another. In other words, humans will always express their existence through artificial things and a sign for each human being to have connectivity with each other. Even if it reviewed historically, it is not necessarily born from the Islamic body ideologically. How much authorization of tangible symbols on religious practices in the Islamic paradigm? Are material symbols in spiritual practices limited to the manifestation of human creativity or sacred things that cannot contest? This scroll will continue until there is a discussion about it.

Abstract

What is the matter of creation of human? This question has been addressed since long back in the history from ancient Indian and Egyptian civilizations to the Greeks and until the advent of modern sciences. The answers to this question were varying and led to various ideologies about the paternity of the newborn and the role and importance of women in society. More or less the concept was that the human is formed from the male semen and female menstrual blood where semen is the actual matter of formation and the part of the female is just to nourish and nurture; until it is proved by the modern science that both male and female gametes equally take part in the formation of the embryo. However, the Islamic Holy Scripture, the Quran, and the narrations from Islamic prophet (PBUH) and the descriptions of the Islamic scholars stand in opposition to these concepts and have a stunning correlation with the modern scientific descriptions of the embryology.
