Abstract

This paper discusses "Normative and Historical Perspective Religious Pluralism, which includes two main problems, namely: First, how is religious pluralism in a historical perspective. Second, how is religious pluralism with a normative perspective. Religious pluralism in the perspective of revelation (Normative) is not only part of a humanitarian task but also a dimension of the Muslim’s level, devotion and a religious duty which is the value of worship in the sight of Allah SWT. Whereas historically, the religious attitude in the midst of a plural society was exemplified by the Prophet in the early days of Islam, so that in its development it became the religion that most respected the values of plurality. Therefore, in its development, Muslims do not need to feel a dilemma if in their life they have to intersect with other religions, instead they must be used as life partners in facing the benefit of the people.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to reveal the contribution of Islamic civilization to western civilization by discussing: (1) The early history of Islamic civilization (2) The entry path of Islamic civilization to the West. The results of this study reveal that Islamic civilization entered the west, precisely in Europe in three ways, namely the channel of Islamic civilization which influenced Europe through Spain, Sicily, and the Crusade. In this route trade exchange took place, but the most important channel in this case was Islamic Spain. Spain is the most important place for the West to absorb Islamic civilization, both in political, social, economic and civilizational relations between countries. That is a fact of Spanish history for more than seven centuries under Islamic rule. Western civilization was built from the womb of the early phase of Islamic history in occupying Spain. Socio-politically, Islam is in a very strong position to expand and civilizationally is in its golden peak. This expansion process was followed by the transfer of science from the Muslims to the Spanish population at that time. The open culture and the generosity of knowledge built by the Muslims at that time made every group, region, or ethnic group very wide open to gain knowledge from Muslim scholars, including many Europeans who studied in various fields, both science and technology. 'aqli science and naqli science. After they returned to their respective areas, many developed this knowledge in mainland Europe.

Abstract

This paper discusses "Pregnant Marriage according to Religious Court Judges from the Maslahah Perspective" by revealing the problems, namely: (1) How is the implementation of Article 53 KHI regarding pregnant marriage, (2) What are the implications of implementing Article 53 KHI regarding pregnant marriage? And (3) How is the analysis of the judges of the religious courts on Article 53 of the KHI concerning marriage and pregnancy from a maslahah perspective? The Religious Courts do not directly handle cases of pregnant women, while cases that are related to pregnant women are cases of marriage isbat and marriage dispensation. The marriage of a pregnant woman affects the status of the child that the woman is carrying. By holding a marriage for pregnant women and men who impregnate them, they will maintain the lineage of children, inheritance and guardianship of the children they contain. Article 53 Compilation of Islamic Law regarding pregnant marriage contains many benefits for society in general, especially for pregnant women and the children they are carrying.

Abstract

Qibla is defined as the building of the Ka’bah or the direction of Muslims in carrying out a worship, especially prayer, so we need a method that can be used as a guide in determining the direction of Qibla in worship. This study aims to determine the accuracy of the Qibla direction of mosques in Tanete Riattang and Tanete Riattang Barat Districts as measured using astronomy (Google Earth), and the study of Islamic law views the measurement of Qibla direction using astronomy. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely the method used to process ideas, reviews and views of experts, as well as descriptive qualitative data analysis methods, namely comparing theoretical studies and realities in the field. The results showed that the method of determining the Qibla direction used in this study using the Google Earth software is relatively easy, very accurate and efficient, but people prefer to determine the Qibla direction by using a compass and also by using the sun's shadow which is known to have quite a difference significant (less accurate). Therefore, the involvement and concern of the government, in this case the Ministry of Religion, as well as competent parties in the field of astrology (determination of the Qibla direction) are needed. Qibla is the direction of the Muslims in worship, therefore we must try our best to determine the direction of Qibla as accurately as possible, considering the growing development of intellectual civilization, especially in the field of astronomy. So that in the future uniformity of direction in worship can be achieved.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of the concept of ecotheology in the reforestation movement at the As'adiyah Mattirowalie Islamic Boarding School, Bone Regency as an effort to build environmental awareness based on Islamic spirituality. The environmental degradation that is happening today requires a holistic approach that focuses not only on the technical aspects, but also on the spiritual and moral aspects. Through a qualitative approach with the participatory action research method, this study involved 150 students and 25 ustadz in a reforestation program that integrates Islamic values with environmental conservation practices. The results of the study showed that the ecotheology approach was able to increase the environmental awareness of students by 78% and succeeded in greening an area of 5 hectares around the Islamic boarding school. This program has succeeded in changing the paradigm of students from an anthropocentric understanding to a more sustainable ecocentric view. The implementation of ecotheology in Islamic boarding schools has proven to be effective in creating a generation of Muslims who have a high awareness of environmental sustainability.
