Abstract

The scientific approach is believed to be the golden bridge and the development of attitudes, skills, and knowledge of learners. The application of scientific approach is a challenge for teachers through the development of students' activity is observed, ask, gather information, reasoning and mengkomunikasikan.IPS with Scientific Approach. The learning is not just memorize concepts, year or mere facts, but trying to connect these concepts to produce a full understanding, so the concept is easy to learn dipahami.Penelitian conducted using qualitative methods. The purpose of this study to describe the learning plan IPS with the scientific approach, describe the implementation of social studies lesson with scientific approaches and describes the evaluation of learning social studies in SMP Negeri 2 Anjir Pasar Barito Kuala South Kalimantan. The study of SMP Negeri 2 Anjir Market in applying scientific approaches in teaching social studies showed that teachers in these schools are already making plans to learning social studies scientific approach. Some stages of implementation with the approach of scientific learning IPS also has to be applied in SMP Negeri2 Anjir Markets, Results eveluasi learning by providing about suitable materials given, the result of 18 students, 16 were completed with a value above KKM = 70 and 2 students incomplete, with the classical completeness is 88.89%.Keywords: scientific approach, learning IPS

Abstract

AbstractThis research purposes to analyze the improvement of scientific attitudes, student learning outcomes, responses by utilizing environment media in subject of preservation living environment and sustainable development geography subject of XI Social-3 class at SMA Negeri 1 Angsana in 2017. This research used classroom action research. Subject of this research is students of class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, it has 34 people. The technique of collecting data used observation sheet or questionnaire and written test. The result of the research shows the improvement of scientific attitude students obtained in the first cycle average 67,19% with enough category, and the second cycles has increased average 79,00% with good category. Learning outcomes in the first cycle students who achieve a minimum mastery of learning as much as 22 people (64,7%) with enough category and the second cycles has increasedas much as 30 people (88,2) with very good category. The students response in the first cycle with very good category has increased98,23% with very good category. The result of this research can be concluded that study by utilizing environment as learning media can increase the scientific attitude science, learning outcomes and positive response in geography subject in preservation living environment and sustainable development class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, Tanah Bumbu regency. Learning by utilizing environment as media can motivate, fun, creative, thinking scientific and students learning outcomeare increasing.Key words: Environment media, scientific attitude students, learning outcomes AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan (respon) dengan memanfaatkan media lingkungan pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IPS3 di SMA Negeri 1 Angsana tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengumpuilan data menggunakan lembar observasi atau angket dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I rata-rata 67,19% dengan kategori cukup, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan rata-rata 79,00% dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar siklus I siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan sebanyak 22 orang (64,7%) dengan kategori cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan ketuntasan sebanyak 30 orang (88,2%) dengan kategori amat baik. Respon siswa pada siklus I dengan kategori sangat baik mengalami peningkatan 98,23% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar dan respon positif siswa mata pelajaran geografi pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan kelas XI  IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media dapat memotivasi, menyenangkan, kreatif, berpikir ilmiah dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat.Kata Kunci: Media Lingkungan, Sikap Ilmiah, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The aim is to know how the Sansana oral tradition the Ngaju Dayak community in the village of Kaladan Island in the current era. This study used a qualitative method that aims to obtain more complete data, more depth, so that the research objectives can be achieved. The results showed that (1) sansana itself is still held in the village of Island Kaladan until now is because the local communities still carry the tradition that has been known since the first (Tradition Patriarchs), and plenty of things to dipersiapan before starting a tradition sansana (2) In the exercise of sansana materials such as capacity fresh, incense, perapen, pedududkan, sangkai kambang, and laluh or lilis should be prepared before starting sansana because these materials contain a meaning of its own in the implementation sansana (3) Sansanan an oral literature handed down by ancestors and must be maintained by the younger generation in order to stay alive in local communities by way of oral tradition sansana continue to perform in any event give the name of the child, established the pillar of the house, as well as at the time of marriage indigenous Dayak Ngaju. The significance of the event for the people in the village sansana Kaladan Island is to motivate the young people and the audience in order to have a passion in life so as to obtain the blessing of God.Keywords: Sansana Oral tradition, Dayak Ngaju Tujuan Penelitian ingin mengetahui bagaimana tradisi lisan sansana pada masyarakat Dayak Ngaju di Desa Pulau Kaladan pada era saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih lengkap, lebih mendalam, sehinga tujuan penelitian dapat tercapai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sansana sendiri masih tetap dilaksanakan di Desa Pulau Kaladan sampai saat ini di karenakan masyarakat setempat masih melaksanakan tradisi yang sudah dikenal sejak dulu (Tradisi Leluhur) dan banyak hal yang harus dipersiapan sebelum memulai tradisi sansana (2) Dalam pelaksanaan sansana bahan-bahan seperti tampung tawar, kemenyan, perapen, pedududkan, sangkai kambang, dan laluh atau lilis harus dipersiapkan sebelum memulai sansana karena bahan-bahan tersebut mengandung  maknanya tersendiri di dalam pelaksanaan sansana (3) Sansanan merupakan sastra lisan yang diwariskan oleh leluhur dan harus dijaga oleh generasi mudanya agar tetap hidup di kalangan masyarakat setempat dengan cara tetap melaksanakan tradisi lisan sansana di setiap acara memberikan nama pada anak, mendirikan tiang rumah, serta pada saat perkawinan adat Dayak Ngaju. Adapun makna dari acara sansana bagi masyarakat di Desa Pulau Kaladan adalah untuk memotivasi para anak muda dan para pendengar agar memiliki semangat dalam menjalani kehidupan dan memperoleh restu dari Tuhan.Kata Kunci :Tradisi lisan Sansana, Dayak Ngaju

Abstract

Low student motivation. The study aims to describe the students' motivation at gradeVII C SMPN 1 Marabahan,  on the subject of human life and the environment understanding and  the understanding of human social life through the integration of local advantages by model of inquiry.The research method used in the study of the class action is a method of qualitative analysis, which emphasizes on efforts to depictions of things that are associated with increased motivation through the integration of local excellence in the inquiry model of an integrated social studies. The  qualitative analysis of the researchers focused on extracting data according to the material so that it can be seen the problem and its solution on the activity of reflection. The research process began in September through December 2011, the number of samples of students are 36 in grade VII C.  The results showed that: (1) Motivation to learn at grade VII C SMPN 1 Marabahan in integrated social studies through the integration of local advantages be increased, (2) Motivation to learn at grade VII C  SMPN 1 Marabahan  for use in the inquiry learning model of the integrated social studies shows increased (3) Implementation of the Model inquiry can enhance students' motivation  at grade VIIC  SMPN 1 Marabahan. Researchers recommend that teachers should be social studies using the inquiry  model and integrating local adventages to a suitable material.Keywords: motivation, integration of local advantages, model inquiry, Social studies

Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to describe entrepreneurship knowledge, performance, and entrepreneurship attitude of third grade social science students in SMAN 2 Kandangan through entrepreneurship learning.This study is carried out in SMAN 2 Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regent, South Kalimantan. The research method is regresional method. The variable are students’ knowledge, performance, and entrepreneurship attitude. The number of subject is 78 students that belong to social science class in the academic year 2012-2013. The data collection are gained through proficiency test, performance assessment, and questionnaire. The data are analyzed quantitatively. The result of this study shows that there are positive and significant influences on students’ entrepreneurship knowledge (X1) and performance (X2) toward their entrepreneurship attitudes (Y). This result is classified into medium category. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 2 Kandangan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode regresional. Variabel yang diuji adalah variable Pengetahuan, Kinerja , dan Sikap Kewirausahaan. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik program studi IPS tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 berjumlah 78 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui tes pengetahuan, penilaian kinerja, dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari pengetahuan kewirausahaan (X1) dan kinerja peserta didik (X2) terhadap sikap kewirausahaan (Y). Besarnya prosentase pengaruh pengetahuan kewirausahaan dan kinerja peserta didik terhadap sikap kewirausahaan peserta didik pada kategori sedang.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan kewirausahaan, kinerja dan sikap kewirausahaan

Abstract

The aim of research was to describe the use of Problem Based Learning model to increase Sociology learning achievement at grade XII IPS 4 students of SMAN 1 Barabai. The method used for this research was class action research with qualitative approach that focused on efforts to describe deeply anyhing related to the increasing of students’ interest and learning achievement. By this qualitative analysis, the researcher concerned to main problems especially students’ interest and learning achievement in Sociology, so that the problems can be identified and analysed which then the researcher had consideration to find alternative solutions. The data analysis result showed that the use of Problem Based Learning model can increase learning achievement at grade XII IPS 4 students of SMAN 1 Barabai. Classically, the increasing point is 7,25% in the first cycle, and 25% in the second one.            Key words: Learning achievement, Problem Based Learning,and Sociology

Abstract

Pasar terapung Lok Baintan merupakan ikon pariwisata di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Kegiatan wisata di pasar terapung ini adalah kegiatan jual beli. Aktivitas jual beli disetujui oleh perempuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran perempuan dalam kegiatan pariwisata, dan menganalisis pemberdayaan perempuan di Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan perempuan pedagang dan pemerintah daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan di kawasan Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan memiliki peran sebagai pedagang. Mereka mengumpulkan barang dagangan sendiri untuk kemudian dijual kembali di Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan. Pemberdayaan pedagang perempuan masih belum optimal. Pemberdayaan perempuan dalam bidang sosial ekonomi masih terbatas. Mereka bukan anggota organisasi pariwisata atau Pokdarwis. Pedagang perempuan masih terbatas dalam melakukan kegiatan pariwisata, mereka hanya berbicara tentang perdagangan, dan tidak ada keinginan untuk menambah penghasilan. Pedagang perempuan masih terbatas pada pemberdayaan politik. Mereka tidak memiliki peran untuk menentukan kebijakan pariwisata. Keberlanjutan pariwisata di Pasar Terapung Lok Baintan ditentukan oleh keinginan pedagang perempuan untuk melestarikan budaya sungai di Kalimantan Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students learning activities and learning outcomes of Geography through jigsaw model in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas. The application of jigsaw model in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas was supposed to have positive impact on building learning activities and learning outcomes of students in the process of learning Geography, in particular ‘atmosphere’ materials.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The design of study used the model proposed by Suharsimi consisting of 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas with a total of 18 students. The implementation of action of each cycle was done using Jigsaw model.The method used in data collection was observation. The research instrument used was in the form of observation sheet. Observation method was conducted to observe students activities during the course. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. Indicators of success in this study were normative criteria, i.e. when there is an increase after the action. In this research,  the teacher applied Jigsaw model, grouping groups of origins, groups of experts, discussion and presentation.The results of this study concluded that: (1) student activities increased from 72% of less active category to 94.6% of active category, (2) student learning outcomes increased from 74.66% to 80.55%. Thus, the application of jigsaw model can improve student activities and student learning outcomes of Geography in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas.Keywords:  Jigsaw model, student activities, learning outcomes, geography matter

Abstract

The Peer Tutor Methods is used to Increase Participation and Learning Outcomes of Students in Economics Subject Matter Demand and Supply Class X-2 at SMA Negeri 1 Angsana Odd Semester Academic Year 2013/2014. The aims of research to increase the participation and student learning outcomes in learning on the subjects of Economics. This study used action research method. Therefore, there were quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the activity of teachers' activities showed an increase of 4.17%. Learning activities of teachers in the first cycle of 93.75% and 97.92% for the second cycle. Learning student participation in study showed an increase of 10.5%. Participation of students in the first cycle of 72.54% and the second cycle of 83.04%. Individualized student learning outcomes showed a 11.84% increase. The average value of individual learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of 67.97 and 79.81 for the second cycle. Classical learning completeness showed an increase of 25%. The percentage of mastery learning in the first cycle of 65.63% and 90.63% for the second cycle. Keywords: Peer tutoring method, Participation and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Exemplaryteacher has an effective mannertotransmitthe values ofthe characterto the students.This study used qualitative research methods to design the study about the causes of low teachers character values by the teacher at SDN Margasari Ilir 1. Technique of collecting data used three ways, namely: (1) interviews, (2) observation (3) study of documentation. The technique was analyzed descriptively, by the plot (a) data collection, (b) data reduction, (c) the presentation of the data, (d) conclusion. In order to obtain the validity of the data is done by: (1) the extension of the observation, (2) increase the persistence (3) triangulation.The result showed that, self-awareness of the teachers began to exist as educators in implementing the values of the character, but not maximum. The reason is the lack of knowledge and understanding of the teachers about the values of the character, the teachers do not like some of the values like, fond of reading, curiosity, creativity, commitment, hard work and self-contained, so the values of these characters are not continuously carried out and not become a habit of the teacher in do working. Environmental factors in implementing the values of the character. (1) The natural environment / physical; geographical conditions, the distance away from home to school, the climate/ weather and road conditions and situations, greatly affect teachers in implementing the values of the character. (2) Lack of habituation-refraction apply the values of the character in the family also affects the character of the teachers when they are working in the school. (3) the social environment, educational background and lifestyle of the people are poor in implementing the values of the character very well have an impact on the character of the low values of the teacher when working in the schools.Key words: Causes ofLow, Values of theTeachers’Character, SDNMargasariIlir 1 Keteladanan guru merupakan cara yang efektif dalam menularkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi tentang penyebab rendahnya nilai-nilai karakter guru yang terjadi di SDN Margasari Ilir 1. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan tiga cara, yakni: (1) wawancara mendalam, (2) observasi (3) studi dokumentasi. Teknik  dianalisis secara deskriptif, dengan alur (a) pengumpulan data, (b) reduksi data, (c) penyajian data, (d) penarikan kesimpulan. Agar memperoleh keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) perpanjangan pengamatan, (2) meningkatkan ketekunan (3) triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa, kesadaran guru mulai tumbuh dalam bekerja sebagai pendidik dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter, namun belum maksimal. Penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang nilai-nilai karakter, guru kurang menyukai beberapa nilai karakter seperti, gemar membaca, rasa ingin tahu, kreatif, komitmen, kerja keras dan mandiri, sehingga nilai karakter tersebut tidak terus menerus dilaksanakan dan tidak menjadi kebiasaan guru dalam bekerja. Faktor lingkungan dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter. (1) Lingkungan alam/fisik seperti; kondisi geografis, jarak tempuh yang jauh dari rumah ke sekolah, keadaan iklim/cuaca, dan kondisi serta situasi jalan, sangat mempengaruhi guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter. (2) Kurang adanya pembiasaan-pembiasan menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam keluarga juga mempengaruhi karakter guru dalam bekerja di sekolah.
