Abstract

This study aims to destroy an automatic egg incubator, where the performance parameters to be monitored are the temperature and humidity of the incubator. The monitoring system uses the Internet of Things (IoT) application. The egg incubator utilizes the lamp's heat to maintain the room temperature's stability. Utilizing the DHT11 sensor, the temperature data will be processed on the Wemos d1 microcontroller, which is then sent to the internet wirelessly. The temperature and humidity data results will be read in real-time using IoT with the Blynk platform, which can also be accessed using a smartphone. The results of this study apply IoT technology to the monitoring system for measuring conditions of the incubator temperature and humidity parameter values. All device modules will be packaged into embedded systems integrated with environmentally friendly IoT innovation rules and support the technological era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The results of measurements at the incubator's location and the monitoring using the Blynk application are relatively the same, and the success rate of hatching eggs reaches 74% of the total eggs put into the incubator

Abstract

Scientific publications are a means of delivering research results and innovations of researchers. Recently, researchers' interest in publishing publications is also increasing. This increase occurred in the publication of papers through scientific conferences. This encourages the need for the use of information technology to facilitate conference management. However, the application of the conference management system is still minimal. Based on these problems, this study proposes a web-based conference management method. The system is built using a MySQL database and Model-View-Controller (MVC) code architecture in PHP. Therefore, every conference process can be included in the system. the system is designed with three main modules, namely the participant/presenter module, reviewer module, and committee/admin module, which covers the entire conference process starting from registration, paper submission, review, payment and distribution of presentation rooms. Trials and evaluations are carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure the system can work well. The results of the tests and evaluations that have been carried out show that the proposed system is proven to have good performance with a score of 100% or successfully fulfills all existing test scenarios

Abstract

The Minasa Upa Village Office is a community service facility fulfilling population administration and licensing. Currently, the service applied is still carried out in a conventional way, which requires residents to come and queue at the village office to receive services. It is necessary to come to the village office to obtain information on the requirements for making a letter, to find out whether the submitted letter has been completed. Based on these problems, a system is needed to help services at the Minasa Upa Village Office be more practical and efficient. This study implemented an E-Government system that utilizes information technology in service. The e-Government implemented is in the form of an Android-based application designed using the Java programming language and firebase as a database service. The application design method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall approach. The system testing technique used is black box testing which consists of two stages, namely alpha and beta testing. The results indicate that the application is built according to the expected needs. This is proven through the tests that have been carried out. In addition, based on the questionnaire results, users stated that the interface of the application was easy to understand, with an average score of 86%.

Abstract

The protection system is essential in the 20 kV distribution network system. The 20 kV equipment control system is supplied from 2 sources: PT (Potential Transformer) and DC voltage supply (Battery). If the protection relay and mechanics do not get a DC voltage supply, it will have an impact on the equipment not being able to trip when there is a disturbance in the network. There is no DC voltage supply due to battery failure or damage. For this reason, it is necessary to operate the tool manually, which results in the normalization process taking longer because it takes time and long distances, so the duration of outages is even greater. In this study, a monitoring system for the battery of the equipment will be made where previously observations were made about the need for this tool. The method used by the tool uses the blynk application as a receiver of direct voltage and temperature measurement reports that are connected to the gsm module. As a microcontroller processes, Arduino Nano commands from intelligent phones, generating a measurement report from the battery. GSM SIM 900 module as a data receiver and sender in the system. This tool is easy to apply to the system because it does not require a sufficient additional voltage source from the battery. The results of this study become a solution for companies to improve their 20 kV. distribution network system.

Abstract

The Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic (PNUP) manages several departments, consisting of the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Machinery, the Department of Civil, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Accounting, and the Department of Commerce Administration. In managing how many significant programs, PNUP requires a quality information system to support academic activities by evaluating the system's quality that has been implemented. The PNUP Information System with the URL address https://.www.poliupg.ac.id/ has never been evaluated, where there are several complaints from students and admins regarding obstacles to using the information system. Complaints about the information system's use prompted researchers to research the quality of the PNUP information system. Therefore, the User Experience was analysed from the usability aspect, which was tested with several tools, namely Woorank, SEOquake, PageSpeed and using the SUS method. Testing with the usability aspect approach was carried out on the information system at PNUP. The test results using several tools, namely Woorank, got a score of 78. It was considered suitable for facilitating searches on search engines. Page Speed scored 67 for desktop use and 28 for mobile use. It was considered very bad in loading website pages which were considered to disturb user satisfaction and using the SUS method, with 180 respondents getting a score of 58.65, which is considered usable and has the potential to reduce visitors to the PNUP information system. It can be judged that the PNUP information system has not met the usability aspect.

Abstract

The heart is an organ that never stops moving, even when humans sleep. The heart rate must constantly be monitored to determine whether our heart rate is average or not. The heart and humans are also not spared from checking body temperature. Because body temperature can indicate the presence or absence of disease in a person's body, in this study, the detector detects heart and body temperature with a monitoring graphic display that makes it easier for users/patients to detect heart detection (BPM) which is equipped with a graphic display and also body temperature which is also on the display screen. The research method used is an experimental method where the tool is made with a standard size of the original tool. Moreover, from the data collection results, it can be interpreted that the tool is feasible to use and follows medical device calibration standards with correction results for heart rate, namely 2.0%, 0.6%, and 1.0%.

Abstract

Keandalan penyaluran energi listrik ke konsumen sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem pendistribusiannya. Untuk itu diperlukan sistem distribusi energi listrik dengan keandalan yang tinggi. Karena manfaat dan fungsi suatu sistem tenaga listrik yang sangat vital dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem tenaga listrik yang andal untuk penyediaan dan pendistribusian tenaga listrik pada jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung tingkat keandalan dan sekaligus melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan keandalan  sistem distribusi 20 kV pada PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Kalebajeng dengan metode section technique, di mana nilai dari indeks kegagalan dari setiap peralatan utama sistem distribusi diperhitungkan untuk mencari nilai indeks keandalan sistem secara menyeluruh. Studi kasus dilakukan di PT. PLN (persero) ULP Kalebajeng. Pada tugas akhir ini, dilakukan studi peningkatan keandalan sistem distribusi 20 kV pada Penyulang. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada tugas akhir ini adalah sebagai evaluasi dalam memperbaiki kinerja peralatan yang ada pada Penyulang Pajalau. Metode yang digunakan antara lain pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, serta penganalisisan keandalan sistem distribusi 20 kV. Nilai indeks keandalan penyulang Pajalau yaitu SAIDI 22.348 jam/tahun dan SAIFI 4.494 kali/tahun. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode Section Technique nantinya akan dibandingkan dengan hasil dari simulasi ETAP setelah mengimplementasikan recloser pada penyulang

Abstract

Predictive maintenance is a treatment for the actual operation of the equipment to optimize the company's operations. The output of predictive program maintenance is data, this treatment includes the type of "condition based maintenance" where changes in the condition of the machine or equipment are detected so that proactive actions are taken before the occurrence of machine damage. The K-nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm is a simple supervised machine learning algorithm that is used to solve problems based on classification and regression. K-NN works by finding the query distance and all database examples, selecting a certain number of examples (K) adjacent to the query, then selecting the frequent label (in classification) or the average label (in regression). The purpose of this algorithm is to classify new object conditions based on attributes and samples from the training database. So that a predictive analysis is carried out on the damage to generating equipment using the machine learning application method of the Nearest Neighbor type or the classification of conditions used to predict the age or condition of an equipment by modeling according to the standard Operation & Maintenance of equipment. By doing predictive analysis, maintenance will lead to condition based maintenance so that the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) of operating performance in the form of increasing values, such as Capacity Factor (CF), Equivalent Availbility Factor (EAF) becomes optimal and prevents the generator from tripping suddenly. which is called sudden outage frequency (SdOF), as well as more efficient maintenance costs.

Abstract

PLTS as one of the most promising technologies to produce economical, clean and sustainable electrical energy can currently increase the national energy mix because of its nature that can be easily built and its development requires a short time compared to other technologies. The purpose of this research is to study the PV mini-grid configuration scheme in the islands. The case study used in this research is on Kaledupa Island, Southeast Sulawesi. The data used is the actual data on the electrical load on the island of Kaledupa and data on the potential for solar radiation sourced from solarglobalatlas.info. Actual electrical load data and solar radiation potential data are processed using an excel application to calculate the PLTS capacity and energy storage system, then a capacity sizing analysis is carried out from the calculation results. This study concludes that the PV, Energy Storage System and Diesel configuration scheme is the most likely scheme to be applied to the electricity system on the island of Kaledupa, taking into account the load conditions in the electrical system

Abstract

As a provider of electricity services, PLN is required to provide service and supply of electricity with good quality, continuity, improvement and efficiency. Disturbances in distribution systems are short circuit faults between phases or ground phase faults. To protect properly, proper coordination of relay settings is required. Among the equipment in the protection system used in distribution lines are overcurrent relays (OCR) and ground fault relays (GFR). In this study, an analysis of the OCR and GFR settings will be carried out on a 20 kV cubicle at the Sanga-Sanga Substation, East Kalimantan, with the help of the DigSILENT Power Factory 15.1.7 application with a disturbance simulation at 10% and 90% of the feeder length. Based on the analysis results, it is obtained that the short circuit results of 3 phases, 2 phases, and 1 phase to the ground have a value that is not much different from the calculation, while the OCR setting for the outgoing relay is 0.8 A on the secondary side. TMS is 0.083 seconds while the relay is on the incoming side of 20 kV 1 A and TMS of 0.198 seconds. The GFR setting for the outgoing relay is 0.06 A on the secondary side, and TMS is 0.1 seconds, and the relay on the incoming side is 20 kV 0.015 A and TMS is 0.26 seconds).
