Abstract

The rapid development of organizations which manage zakat shows that there needs to be an internal control implementation to minimize the chances of alms funds mishandling. The aim of this research is to assess the compliance and to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control system on the management of alms funds at Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq dan Shadaqah Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU) Yogyakarta Special Region according to the COSO 2013 internal control frameworks. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research data is collected by means of interviews, observations, document inspection, and questionnaires. The research results show that the internal control system implementation on alms funds management at LAZISMU Yogyakarta Special Region is compliant with the COSO 2013 internal control frameworks, and can be categorized as sufficiently effective, with a percentage of 69.40%. This is because there are components which haven’t been fully implemented by the organization.

Abstract

This research was purposed to the financial performance of PT. Bank BRI Syariah, which is measured using liquidity ratios and profitability ratios based on reporting data from 2012 to 2019. This research uses a descriptive approach, namely methods carried out by collecting, clarifying, analyzing and comparing them with the banking industry standards set by Bank Indonesia through SEBI No. 6/10 / PBU Date 12 April 2004 and the Financial Services Authority through SPI Vol.16 No.10 September 2018 to take take. Based on the results of research and discussion, the financial performance of PT. Bank BRI Syariah, Tbk. measured using the liquidity ratio if calculated from the total average, for the Quick Ratio it shows the condition of the bank is not healthy, because the percentage value of the ratio is below Bank Indonesia standards, but for Current ratio and Cash Ratio it shows the condition of the bank is healthy, because the percentage value is in based on Bank Indonesia standards. Meanwhile, the financial performance of Bank BRI Syariah is measured by using the profitability ratio if calculated from the total average, for Return on Assets, Return on Equity, BOPO as a whole shows the condition of the bank is not healthy, because the percentage value of the ratio is below the standards of the Financial Services Authority.

Abstract

As the study of Indonesian Real Effective Exchange Rate is still rare, this research tries to define the determinants of the Indonesian Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER). Variables used in this research are General Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF), Government Final Consumption Expenditure (GFCE), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation, and the Ratio of Export to Import in the period of 2005 Q1 to 2019 Q4. All of data are obtained from The United States’s Central Bank of The Federal Reserve. Analytical method used in this research is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) that is modified with Newey-West HAC Estimator. The results show that in the short run, GFCF and GFCE have no positive effects toward Indonesian REER, yet GDP and the Ratio of Export to Import have positive effects toward Indonesian REER, while Inflation has no a negative effect toward Indonesian REER. In the long run, GFCF, GFCE, and the Ratio of Export to Import have positive effects toward Indonesian REER. GDP has no a positive effect toward Indonesian REER, and Inflation has a negative effect toward Indonesian REER. This research is expected to fill the study gap of Indonesian Real Exchange Rate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the behavior of using e-money in Semarang City and its supporting and barriers factors. This research uses qualitative methods, with a case study approach. In this study, the selected informants were employees of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, customers, and expert informants in the field of marketing. From the research results, it is known that the strongest supporting factor in using e-money is the perception of convenience among other factors. For the most common barriers factor is the risk of losing the card. Then the formation of its own behavior begins with a mix of promotions and needs so that a perception of convenience appears, a perception of benefits so that an interest in using arises e-money

Abstract

Curriculum management is one of the instrumental aspects for the success of teaching and learning to achieve a goal in education. This study aims to analyze how the existing curriculum management in Yogyakarta 2 Public High Schools. The method uses in this study is qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collecting technique in this study was observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis in this study was performed by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that 1. Curriculum planning includes socialization of the curriculum in a workshop, compiling annual programs, compiling semester programs, and compiling lesson plans. 2. The implementation of the curriculum is supported by adequate infrastructure, the development of learning implementation plans, the socialization provided by the school principal, participation in the subject teacher training (MGMP) training and implementing the learning implementation plan. 3. Curriculum evaluation includes students, teachers, teaching media which are assessed by the school principal, supervision, and assessors who are competent in their field. The conclusion of this study curriculum management which includes 3 aspects namely planning, implementation and evaluation by looking at the conditions that exist in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the hidden meaning of the sentences that are used frequently by the Instagram influencer of @jogjataste to promote the products. It was a qualitative research study with the focus on understanding and an emphasis on meaning. Analysis using discourse analysis approach was used to define the hidden meaning from the data which were 5 sentence templates used by the influencer. It is found that the influencer tends to use simple and elliptical sentences. This may due to the limited time in the Instagram story feature which only has 15 seconds. Those sentence forms are supported by the use of exclamatory sentences which are the most frequently used form to promote the foods as this kind of form shows how the speaker feels. This is to make the endorsement more interesting as the dictions such as sumpah and jujur can really affect followers’ interests on the foods psychologically.

Abstract

The purpose to be achieved in this study is to determine the effect of quality service has an effect on customer satisfaction at Popeye Chicken Express Kleco Branch at Surakarta. In connection with these objectives, the following hypothesis is proposed the effect of quality tangible service, empathy, reliability, certainty, and responsiveness partially and simultaneously to customer satisfaction at Popeye Chicken Express Kleco in Surakarta. Sampling of this method of research using non-probability sampling with the type of non-probability sampling used is purposive sampling. By population and sample used in this study were 100 people, data collection in this study using. The questionnaire and analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and test hypothesis using IBM SPSS Statistics 23. The analysis results show that the tangible service quality variable does not have a positive effect on customer satisfaction with a value of t count 0.043 with sig. 0.966, the service quality variable has no empathy positive effect on customer satisfaction with a value of t count 1.090 and sig. 0.278, variable Service quality reliability has a positive effect on customer satisfaction with a t value of 2.090 and sig. 0.039, the variable quality of service assurance has a positive effect on customer satisfaction with a value of t count 2.427 and sig. 0.017, and the variable responsiveness of service quality has no effect positive on customer satisfaction with a value of t count 1.290 and sig. 0.200.

Abstract

This study aims to prove whether the Debt Equity Ratio, sales growth, current ratio and working capital turnover are factors that affect the financial performance of companies in the consumer goods industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2018. A population of 48 companies was searched using purposive sampling so that the sample amounted to 25 with a total of 150 data. Data analysis was tested by multiple regression which fulfilled classical assumptions. The conclusion of this study shows that partially there is no influence of the independent variables under study on company performance, but if simultaneously DER, sales growth, current ratio and working capital turnover have a significant effect on company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether inflation, the amount of money in circulation, the dollar exchange rate and interest rates are factors that affect the Composite Stock Price Index. This research uses deductive, quantitative, and descriptive approaches. The population to be used for 5 years. The determination of the sample is saturated so that the data is 60 data, where 5 years x 12 months. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that partially inflation and the dollar exchange rate had no impact on the JCI while the money supply had a significant positive impact on the JCI, interest rates had a significant negative impact on the JCI. Simultaneously, inflation, money supply, dollar exchange rate and interest rates have a significant impact on the JCI. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the value of a Adjusted R Square is 0.709, which means that 70.9% of the variance of the JCI variable can be explained by the inflation variable, the amount of money in circulation, the dollar exchange rate and the remaining interest rate is influenced by other variables of 29.1%. for example world oil prices and GDP.

Abstract

This study aims at provide information about the development of food security model in North Sumatra Province. This study was carried out in the districts and the cities. The data have been collected from various institutions from Agricultural Office, Food Security Office and Statical office of North Sumatera province. It also collects secondary data which are covering various aspects of food production, to enrich the study, I have been interviewing stakeholders who responsible to manage food security development. Analysis Confirmatory Factor Analysis Model is used to analyze factors affecting food security The results of the study shows the results of speed analysis in aspects of food production, so far the value of production has always dropped, general production modeling is only 80% and relatively an average of 20% every year which must be issued by import from other countries.
