Abstract

Internet service users expect reliable bandwidth quality to support the communication access process. From year to year, human needs for communication services continue to increase. Humans still want convenience in daily activities such as sending messages, video and voice, and want the quality of sending and receiving messages to be fast. This encourages telecommunications service providers to focus on innovative telecommunications networks to meet the needs of all customers. Research began by taking data at Tablue and AVS regarding the distance of the fiber cable used as far as 10Km from the OLT. Manual calculations using OTDR. The results of previous measurements and data processing regarding the attenuation obtained in fiber cables are followed by calculating the total attenuation using the existing formula. The next stage is data processing using RapidMiner software with the Naive Bayes algorithm. The final results of the comparison with this test method, namely the prediction results) show an accuracy value of 99.91%. Of the 1124 test data, 1080 data were predicted as OK sentiment and 43 data as Not OK. For prediction results from Not ok. and the Naive Bayes method shows an accuracy value of 0.962% OK. Not ok 0.038% of 1124, test data.

Abstract

The Point of Interest (POI) represents a specific geographic location defined by its coordinates, including longitude and latitude, and holds value as a site of interest or utility. Examples of POIs include tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacies, health centers, retail shops, gas stations, and other categories integral to modern navigation systems. PT. Telkom Klaten has faced increased demands to conduct POI surveys efficiently, driven by advancements in technology that call for faster and more streamlined processes. A primary challenge in these surveys is the selection of an optimal route that minimizes time, costs, and fuel consumption, given that the company currently relies on manual input in Google Maps to determine distance and travel time. This manual approach may hinder survey efficiency and increase operational costs. To address this, an application employing the Dijkstra algorithm was developed to determine the shortest route effectively. The Dijkstra algorithm, known for selecting edges with minimal weight to connect sequential nodes, requires defined origin and destination points, thereby generating the most efficient route between them. This study applies the Dijkstra algorithm to optimize survey routes by modeling them as graph-based routes, aiming to identify the shortest and most efficient paths between multiple POI locations. The findings indicate that the Dijkstra algorithm significantly reduces travel distance and time, thereby achieving notable savings in fuel and operational time for POI surveys.

Abstract

As time goes by, the internet has become a basic human need. There are various internet service providers with various and interesting products. Each internet service provider has its own advantages and disadvantages. This makes customers confused about choosing a suitable internet package to use to support their activities. The Indihome internet package selection recommendation system uses a knowledge-based method and is designed to help users choose an internet package that suits their needs. This knowledge based method is based on existing knowledge. The use of a knowledge base is easy for users to understand and makes it possible to produce recommendations that suit user needs. It is hoped that the results of this system can be used as a consideration for consumers in making decisions regarding selecting the internet service package to be used and increasing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has provided new opportunities to improve monitoring through the integration of temperature and humidity sensors in wireless networks. This study aims to optimize a wireless sensor network for temperature and humidity monitoring. This study combines an experimental approach with network performance analysis and optimization methods. First, the selection of temperature and humidity sensors is carried out. Next, an efficient and reliable wireless sensor network architecture is designed to collect temperature and humidity data from various locations. The process of sending data from sensors to base stations and integration with IoT platforms are also studied. Furthermore, a series of experiments are conducted to test the performance of the wireless sensor network under real conditions. Analysis of the collected data is used to identify potential improvements in network performance and improve system reliability and responsiveness. The performance parameters evaluated include connection stability, data throughput, energy consumption, and communication latency. The results of this study contribute to the development of a monitoring system that is reliable, efficient, and easy to implement.

Abstract

This research develops a decision support system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to assist in selecting the best employee at PT. Bringin Karya Sejahtera. Evaluating employee performance is crucial for enhancing company productivity, as recognizing outstanding performance can motivate employees to excel. This case study was conducted at PT. Bringin Karya Sejahtera, where employee evaluations are carried out monthly, with cumulative results calculated at the end of the year to determine the best employee. The selection process often becomes complex due to the numerous criteria and employee options, requiring a system to simplify decision-making. Therefore, this study introduces an AHP-based system to support leaders in effectively managing factors, criteria, and alternatives. AHP, developed by Thomas L. Saaty, allows for multi-criteria comparisons and simplifies complex decision-making through a hierarchical approach.

Abstract

Twitter social media is often used as a medium to express opinions on the government in Indonesia. There  are  also  many  controversial  things  on  Twitter  social  media  against  the  government,  as  is  the case  today  there  is  a  controversy  wherethere  is  a  proposal  to  make  the  term  of  office  of  the President in Indonesia three periods, which previously could only serve up to two terms or ten years. for  one  President.  Public  opinion  or  sentiment  which  in  Twitter's  terms  is  commonly  referred  to  as "shrink"  can  be  in  the  form  of  negative  or  positive  opinions.  However,  the  amount  of  data  is  quite large  so it takes a method that can be used to make it  happen, namely by using sentiment analysis. Sentiment  analysis  can  be  used  as  a  solution  to  process  these  opinions  using  the  Naïve  Bayes Classifier  algorithm.  The  results  of  the  nave  Bayes  technique  require  evaluation  to  determine  the best model. The test is carried out with three models, namely 70:30, 80:20, and 90:10 which are then evaluated using a confusion matrix. Based on the comparison of the evaluation test results, the best scenario for the Naïve Bayes  classification model is in the first scenario or model (90% training data and 10% testing data) with an accuracy value of 95%, a precision value of 97%, a recall value of 96%, and the f-measure value is 96%.

Abstract

This research explores how improving Instagram marketing strategies can boost consumer interest for Bebek Bakar A'Yayo, a restaurant in Bandung. Despite being established since 2005, the restaurant's social media presence had been minimal. Using a mixed-method approach—surveys, interviews, and observations—the author enhanced the restaurant's Instagram with better photos, videos, graphic design, and motion graphics. Over two months (October 23 to December 25, 2023), the Instagram account's reach grew by 602%, and sales increased by 20%, all through organic social media efforts. The study concludes that effective Instagram management is essential for promoting businesses in the food industry.

Abstract

Beef is a source of animal protein which is very important in the human diet. The quality of beef determines the nutritional value and taste of the processed meat product. However, the quality of beef can decrease over time, especially if it is not stored properly. Therefore, identifying the condition of beef is crucial to ensure that consumers get safe and quality products. The use of the HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) color space for beef classification is an interesting method to research. The HSV color space is closer to human perception of color compared to the RGB color space, making it more effective for image analysis in the context of visual quality assessment of meat. In this study, researchers used HSV space extraction to classify fresh beef and bad beef. This research aims to develop a method for classifying fresh, medium and rotten beef using the HSV color space. This research produces accurate extraction results with appropriate classification of fresh and bad beef.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing an Android-based recommender system using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to select high-quality grapes. The main objective of this study is to compare the performance of two popular CNN architectures, VGG16 and ResNet18, in classifying the quality of sour grapes. The subjective and time-consuming nature of conventional methods prompted us to search for a more efficient solution.The dataset used consists of 282 images of green grapes. The evaluation results show that the VGG16 model achieves 93% accuracy in classifying grape quality, outperforming the ResNet18 model with only 82% accuracy. These results indicate that the VGG16 architecture is more suitable for this classification task. The development of this system is expected to contribute to smart agricultural automation to improve efficiency and support the food industry.

Abstract

Giki High School has a large number of 10th grade students and the need to provide class recommendations based on student interests in current subjects is done conventionally. This study aims to help schools make more informed decisions in class selection. This study implements a web application. The implementation of the category selection web application was created using the K-means Clustering algorithm and integrated into the web using Tkinter as the standard GUI library for Python. This implementation goal is to make school life easier to determine class recommendations for students. Results of the K-Means algorithm produce 4 clusters: Cluster 1 (Indonesian, Social Studies, and Mathematics), Cluster 2 (English), Cluster 3 (Indonesian and Science), Cluster 4 (English and Science) with the Silhouette Score results giving a score of 0.6233 which indicates that the score calculation is at 0 that the data point is the center of each cluster.
