Abstract

The web-based Tuition Payment Information Ssistem is designed to enhance efficiency and transparency in financial administration management at SMK Imtaq Darurrahim Jakarta. This ssistem was developed to replace the manual payment process, which is prone to recording errors and late payments. With key features such as automatic payment recording, receipt printing, and transaction history, this ssistem allows students and administrative staff to access financial information more easily and in real-time. The methodology used in developing this ssistem is the waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, ssistem design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The ssistem is built using web-based technology with PHP, HTML, and CSS programming languages, and MySQL as the database storage.

Abstract

The fast development of information technology has improved internet availability but also raised exposure to dangerous material, especially pornography. Maintaining a safe online environment for students and the community at large is a challenge for IDN Boarding School. This study develops an adaptive firewall system using Pi-hole and DNS filtering, designed to block access to pornographic websites while preserving academic access. The system was tested through controlled network simulations involving 1000 domain requests, with results showing a 95% success rate in blocking unwanted content. The study adopts a rule-based design approach and includes usability testing with administrators. Findings suggest that integrating DNS-level filtering effectively reduces exposure to harmful content while maintaining internet stability. This research provides a scalable model for educational institutions seeking to enhance digital safety and responsible internet use.

Abstract

This study develops a web-based payment system using PHP and MySQL to overcome the problem of manual recording in course institutions. Many course places still use manual recording that is prone to errors, administrative delays, and difficulties in making financial reports. This system aims to improve efficiency and accuracy by providing a more structured administration solution. Features such as dashboards, monthly and annual payment monitoring, and financial data recaps allow for transparency and more effective data management. The implementation of the system at Loop Coding BSD, Tangerang, has been proven to speed up the recording process, reduce manual errors, and improve financial reports. This system improves operational efficiency, data security, and facilitates evaluation or auditing. Overall, the implementation of this web-based system makes it easier to manage payment data and supports smooth administration and financial management in educational institutions.

Abstract

Data mining is a branch of artificial intelligence that is used to find patterns and information hidden in data. One of the common algorithms used in data mining is the Single Moving Average (SMA). The SMA algorithm can be used to analyze and predict trend data, such as sales, stocks, production, and so on. In this study, SMA will be used to provide forecasts on Honda car sales and find hidden patterns in them with the aim of finding out the dominant patterns in Honda car sales and preparing for all possible risks that will be obtained due to this forecasting system. The data used in this study is Honda car sales data from official Honda dealers, where data was collected as much as 90 data as a dataset, and 8 data as data to be tested from 2017 to 2023. The results of the study show that the SMA algorithm can be used to analyze Honda car sales data where the right order in this case is order 2 with a value obtained above 90% based on the results of calculations from MAPE and MSE. These results can be used by the Honda company to improve sales strategies and improve product quality in terms of inventory management.

Abstract

This research aims to help Pemalang Islamic SMK in identifying outstanding students and predicting potential scholarship recipients, by utilizing the algorithm, K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) in determining students who have the potential to receive scholarships. This research used 100 student data involving attributes such as report card grades, academic achievement, parental responsibilities, parental salary, and participation in organizations. Meanwhile, the testing process is carried out by adding 6 data on potential scholarship recipients to be predicted. The data is then processed and normalized before being applied to the K-NN algorithm. The K-NN steps involve determining the K parameter (number of nearest neighbors), calculating the Euclidean distance, sorting the distance results, and selecting the majority category as a prediction for the new object class. The research results show that the application of the K-NN algorithm with K=3 is successful in providing predictions of outstanding students by considering relevant attributes. This process is carried out with the help of JAVA programming to calculate and analyze data. The research conclusion shows that the K-NN algorithm can be used as an effective prediction tool for classification to determine students who excel and are worthy of receiving scholarships. This research contributes to increasing efficiency and accuracy in the selection of outstanding scholarship recipients in the school environment with an accuracy of 83.33%.

Abstract

Stunting is one medical problem that inhibits a baby's growth. Prompt diagnosis is essential to prevent long-term harm. This study compares machine learning techniques, including Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Forest, SVM, and ensemble methodologies, in order to improve prediction accuracy. Information on 1,723 children in Jakarta, including age, height, gender, family health history, household income, access to health services, and hygienic circumstances, is included in this dataset, which was collected from Riskesdas and hospital and clinic medical records. To improve model performance, SMOTE, feature selection, and normalization techniques were used. The ensemble approach combined Naïve Bayes with Decision Trees via stacking. The assessment findings indicated that Random Forest had the best accuracy (98%), followed by ensemble technique and Decision Tree (97%), while Naïve Bayes and SVM had lesser accuracy (38% and 37%). This model can assist the government in early intervention to prevent stunting.

Abstract

The development of information technology provides opportunities for educational institutions to enhance data management systems, including in the field of counseling and guidance. This study aims to develop a web based counseling system with parental notifications to support student behavior monitoring and management at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Bogor. The system is designed to digitize student violation records, enabling teachers and homeroom teachers to track and analyze students behavioral development more systematically. Additionally, an automatic notification feature is developed to ensure that parents receive real-time updates regarding their child's violations and progress. By implementing this system, it is expected that transparency and effectiveness in student guidance processes will improve, thus creating a more conducive educational environment.

Abstract

This research develops a new website-based student registration system for SMK Skill Village Islamic School to overcome the obstacles of inefficient conventional registration. This system is built using PHP, Laravel, Bootstrap, and MySQL, providing a dashboard for admins and prospective students. Admins can manage registrant data, while prospective students can fill out forms, upload proof of payment, and requirement files online. This system is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the registration process.

Abstract

Ruminant farming plays a significant role in food provision and the economy through the livestock and related agribusiness sectors. One of the major challenges in livestock management is efficient feed management. Poor feed management can lead to various problems such as nutritional deficiencies, diarrhea, and poisoning in livestock, which ultimately result in losses. Skillage Integrated Farm, a livestock business unit of SMK Skill Village Islamic School, faces challenges in feed recordkeeping and management. This research aims to develop a digital feed bank recording system at Skillage Integrated Farm to improve feed management efficiency and reduce the risk of losses. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and discussions. The findings indicate that the implementation of this digital system improves record accuracy, facilitates feed consumption evaluation, and supports data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the system reduces operational costs and enhances the sustainability of the farm business.

Abstract

The selection of a primary key is crucial in database management, as it impacts database performance and scalability. This study aims to evaluate one of the trending types of primary keys among developers — UUID. The evaluation is conducted on two different databases, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, using auto-increment and MongoDB’s ObjectId as comparisons. The testing involves importing data from a CSV file and processing it in parallel to assess the efficiency of each primary key in handling data insertion. The results show that auto-increment has advantages in terms of speed and smaller storage size compared to UUID, especially in MongoDB. In PostgreSQL, the speed difference is not as significant, but auto-increment remains more efficient in storage usage. This study provides valuable insights for developers in selecting the appropriate primary key based on system performance requirements.
