Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology with the concept of Smart Destinations offers an innovative solution in tourism management with the aim of improving operational efficiency and tourist experience. IoT technology, which includes interconnected sensor devices and communication systems, provides the ability to unify and manage various aspects of a destination in real-time. Meanwhile, Smart Destinations use digital technology to optimize the tourist experience through personalization, resource efficiency, and desire. This article discusses the background and key benefits of IoT integration in Smart Destinations, including improving the visitor experience through data and analytics, better crisis management, and more efficient resource management. Application examples such as smart parking systems, automated energy management, and providing contextual information to tourists through sensors are described to illustrate the practical application of this technology. However, challenges such as data privacy and security, technology compatibility issues, and significant investment requirements are also discussed. In conclusion, while this integration faces several obstacles, its potential benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of tourist destinations make it a promising approach for the future of the tourism industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the COBIT 5 framework in Information Technology (IT) governance in organizations. The main focus is to evaluate the extent to which COBIT 5 is able to improve IT management, operational efficiency, and the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives. This study uses a case study approach with qualitative methods. Data were collected through interviews with IT stakeholders, analysis of IT policy and procedure documents, and employee surveys to assess their perceptions of the effectiveness of IT governance. The assessment was carried out by comparing the implementation of COBIT 5 against the performance indicators and controls set out in the framework. This study revealed that although COBIT 5 provides a comprehensive framework for IT governance, the success of its implementation is highly dependent on managerial support, adequate training, and adjustments to the specific needs of the organization. Recommendations for improving effectiveness include strengthening training, improving internal communication, and periodic evaluation of COBIT 5 implementation. The implementation of COBIT 5 has shown substantial benefits in improving IT governance and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. However, to maximize its effectiveness, attention is needed to the aspects that influence the adoption and implementation of this framework.

Abstract

Canyoning adventure tourism is a form of nature tourism activity that provides extreme and challenging experiences for tourists. However, the high level of risk in this activity requires a comprehensive risk management approach to ensure the safety and comfort of participants. This study aims to analyze risk-based canyoning tourism management activities in the Canyoning & Caving area, Bogor, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with tour managers, canyoning guides, and tourists who have participated in the activity. In addition, direct observations were made of field conditions and facilities provided. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of effective risk management is very important to minimize the potential for accidents and negative impacts on the environment. Some of the main risks identified include unpredictable weather conditions, terrain difficulty, and lack of participant experience. The risk mitigation strategies implemented include intensive training for guides, the use of international standard safety equipment, and the preparation of clear emergency procedures. This study is expected to be a reference for other canyoning tourism managers in developing safe and sustainable adventure tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the era of data revolution and artificial intelligence, machine learning model optimization has become one of the most dynamic and crucial research areas. This article reviews the latest techniques in machine learning model optimization with a focus on pursuing maximum performance. We discuss various methods applied to improve model accuracy and efficiency, ranging from hyperparameter tuning techniques, advanced optimization algorithms such as Bayesian optimization, to innovative approaches such as meta-learning and transfer learning. These optimization techniques not only aim to improve model performance but also to overcome challenges related to big data, model complexity, and computational limitations. We investigate how these methods can be integrated in machine learning pipelines to achieve better results with more efficient resources. Through a review of recent literature and case studies of applications in various domains, this article provides in-depth insights into the trends and developments in model optimization, as well as practical recommendations for researchers and practitioners in pursuing maximum performance from their machine learning systems. A better understanding of these cutting-edge techniques is expected to facilitate the achievement of better and more innovative results in future machine learning applications.

Abstract

Every village is required to provide the best possible service to the community in the areas of writing letters, population data collection, and other needs related to village office services. The process still requires residents to come and follow the procedures to get the letter. In this case, the letter cannot be processed in one day because often the village head who is authorized to sign the letter is not there because he is on assignment out of the area. So wait for the next day or wait for a confirmation Wats app from the Kadilangon village administration department to come and pick up the letter that has been processed. This process requires more time to carry out and obtain services and documentation of letters submitted by Kadilangon village residents. The process of serving letters submitted online is to make it easier for residents in terms of the application process and for employees themselves to make the documentation and report letter process easier. The author created a community service information system in Kadilangon village. In this system, residents can apply for letter permits online. It is hoped that this will make the letter application process faster and easier because the system can be accessed from anywhere. With this community service system, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of the service process to the people of Kadilangon village.

Abstract

Administrasi memiliki peranan penting bagi organisasi maupun instansi. SMK Ma’arif 1 Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu instansi pendidikan yang selalu berusaha meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan dari waktu ke waktu. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada SMK Ma’arif 1 Yogyakarta yaitu dalam proses pendokumentasian administrasi siswa siswi yang belum terkomputerisasi sepenuhnya sehingga banyak waktu dan tenaga diperlukan untuk memproses kegiatan administrasi tersebut. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, penulis ingin mengajukan saran membuat suatu sistem administrasi data diri siswa siswi berbasis desktop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah dalam pendokumentasian administrasi siswa siswi,sehingga membantu sekolah agar efisien dalam proses administrasi,selain itu sistem ini mempunyai fitur tabungan yang mana dapat digunakan siswa untuk membayar keuangan sekolah,sistem ini akan memudahkan sekolah dalam penyampaian laporan data siswa siswi setiap grade. Program yang dihasilkan dalam sistem ini adalah Sistem Administrasi data diri berbasis desktop dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman java dan database MySQL.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengenalan Kampus (KPK), dikemas dalam bentuk apapun tetap saja berisi pengenalan, orientasi, dan proses adaptasi mahasiswa baru terhadap lingkungan kampus, baik kehidupan secara akademik maupun kemahasiswaan yang tentunya berbeda dengan kondisi pada pada sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Hadirnya media berbasis online memungkinkan pengguna dapat mengakses informasi tanpa harus datang ke lokasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kegiatan pengenalan kampus berbasis virtual tour sebagai media informasi lingkungan STIPRAM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data berasal dari observasi dan kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STIPRAM dengan jumlah sampel 125 orang responden. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat foto 360 panorama kampus STIPRAM Yogyakarta dengan metode image stitching. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kegiatan pengenalan kampus berbasis virtual tour sebagai media informasi layak untuk dikembangkan.

Abstract

The backpacker tourism trend in Southeast Asia has grown rapidly in the past few decades, with Thailand becoming one of the top destinations for budget travelers. This study aims to identify the factors that make Thailand a favorite destination for backpackers in the region. The research methodology involves literature analysis, interviews with backpackers, and tourism statistics. The results show that the combination of natural beauty, cultural diversity, affordable cost of living, good tourism infrastructure, and easy access to various attractions are the main factors that attract backpackers. In addition, Thailand's image as a friendly, safe, and open country for foreign tourists also contributes to its popularity. The study also compares Thailand with its neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia to understand Thailand's competitive advantages. The findings provide insights for the government and tourism industry players in developing sustainable strategies to maintain and enhance the attractiveness of the destination for the backpacker tourist segment

This research aims to identify the factors that make Yogyakarta a favorite destination for backpackers in the region. The results show that the combination of natural beauty, cultural diversity, affordable living costs, good tourism infrastructure, and easy access to various tourist attractions are the main factors that attract backpackers. Apart from that, Yogyakarta's image as a friendly, safe and open area for foreign tourists also contributes to its popularity. This study also compares Yogyakarta with regional regions such as Bandung, Malang and Bali to understand Yogyakarta's competitive advantages. Abstract

This study aims to explore the foundation of code in the C++ programming language with a focus on data structures. Data structures are a fundamental component in efficient and effective software development. This literature review explores various types of data structures implemented in C++, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, hash tables, and trees. An analysis is conducted on the basic principles and implementation of these data structures in the context of C++, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each structure. In addition, this study also discusses the evolution and comparison of data structure implementations from the perspective of performance and algorithm complexity. The results of this study provide in-depth insights into how data structures can affect the design and efficiency of C++ applications, as well as provide guidance for software developers in choosing the most appropriate data structures for their specific needs. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of a deep understanding of data structures in software development and their contribution to the success of software projects.
