Abstract

One of the most important things in learning is the use of appropriate media. The right media can affect student learning success. However, it has so far been neglected by many teachers/professionals. The research objective is to increase students' interest in learning through Wordwall-based media. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data source for this research were 26 grade V students at SDN Turi II Tambakrejo. The results of the study show that learning with Wordwall-based media can increase students' interest in learning. This increase can be seen in student learning outcomes in the preliminary study an average of 56,3. Meanwhile, in Cycle I, it was 72,3 and the average in Cycle II was 83,15. In addition, there are also observations on the proportion of nine indicators of student interest in learning. Students who are developing quite well (BCB) and students who are developing very well (BSB) experience an increase in the percentage of preliminary studies of only 59% when given Classroom Action Research, an increase of 77% in cycle I, while in cycle II it reaches 90%. The conclusion is that using Wordwall-based media can increase student learning interest. Therefore, it is hoped that teachers/educators will try to implement a Wordwall-based learning environment to increase students' interest in learning at school.

Abstract

This research is intended to find an ideal formulation in learning speaking skills through redesigning the Role Playing method. This study uses a modified research and development (R&D) method. The results showed that redesigning the Role Playing method was effective in improving speaking skills. This effectiveness can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes in each implementation. The elements of accuracy in pronunciation, intonation, targeting accuracy, courage, fluency, loudness, gestures/mimics, diction/choice of words, and improvisation, in practice I obtained a percentage of 70.67%, in practice II 80.55%, and in practice III 89.81%. While the student response questionnaire shows a percentage of 74.69% of students giving a positive response. The conclusion is that redesigning the Role Playing method is effective for improving speaking skills, especially for high school (SMA) students.

Abstract

Folklore is a variety of literary works that existed earlier than other literary works. Folklore developed from generation to generation. It can be from old stories to fibers or chronicles written by ancient masters or writers. The figure of Gayatri Rajapatni himself is the daughter of King Kertanegara of the Singosari Kingdom. The leadership of the Majapahit government at that time, Gayatri had the right to rule. In fact Gayatri chose to become a royal advisor. Character formation in students can be developed through the material in the learning process. It was Gayatri's figure that made the second era after Raden Wijaya a great empire because he had an agile and intelligent regent for his upbringing. The intelligent, feminine, and nationalist character of Gayatri Rajapatni can be used as character teaching materials by students. This study aims to introduce and utilize local folklore as a form of character education for students. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach by using literature review techniques. Researchers get data from the results of previous research collections, the youtube platform, and so on.
