Abstract

The government’s policy, the Indonesian Ulema Council’s (MUI) fatwa, the rise of cigarette issues and anti-smoking campaigns have been a major challenge for the tobacco industry in managing risks. Through this research, the issues will be measured by VaR to know the risk of the company’s shares of cigarette sub sector by using time series data and analyzed by using the simulation method of Historis and Monte Carlo. The results showed the VaR value of GGRM and HMSP stock with the historical method is 3.28 and 2.54%. While the value of VaR shares GGRM and HMSP with Monte Carlo method is 3.52% and 3.14%. Monte Carlo simulation gives greater result than Historical Simulation, because Monte Carlo simulation do iteration repeatedly by involving random number generation and many synthesize the data so that sample data becomes more which makes the calculation is bigger.

Abstract

E-government in Indonesia is not currently running well, the ranking of Indonesia in EGDI was a decline in 2016 to number 116. One of e-government implementation in education is online teacher competency examination. This research aims to find out the implementation of e-government policy through online teacher competency examination, result of online teacher competency examination, teachers’ performance in Junior High School, and finds out its relationship. The research was conducted using UTAUT model. Data were collected from online teacher competency examination’s results, and teacher performance assessment. The sample is determined by technique of convenience sampling, counted 77 respondents. The results show that the implementation of e-government through online teacher competency examination is good. Online teacher competency examination’s results showed that the average teacher is still in coaching category. The teachers’ performance is good. However, there’s no relationship between the implementation of e-government and online teacher competency examination on teachers’ performances simultaneously or partially.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand and analyze how compensation and working discipline give impact to the job satisfaction in Restaurant Kampoeng Daun Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Samples were employees at Restaurant Kampoeng Daun which amounts to 60 respondents. This research uses a quantitative approach, data were collected by questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. As seen on descriptive analysis, can be seen compensation, working discipline and job satisfaction were catagorized effecvtive. The result of verification analysis shown that compensationin and work discipline have a significant effect to job satisfaction of 66,9%.. Partially, the compensation effect on job satisfaction at 35.4% and working discipline by 31,5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mekanisme good corporate governance yang diproksikan dengan kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, dewan komisaris independen dan komite audit terhadap manajemen laba yang diukur dengan discretionary accruals dan kondisi kinerja keuangan yang diukur dengan return on assets pada perusahaan pertambangan periode 2012-2016. Sampel berjumlah 11 perusahaan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme good corporate governance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen laba sebesar 53%, secara parsial kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba sedangkan kepemilikan institusional, dewan komisaris independen dan komite audit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen laba. Mekanisme good corporate governance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan sebesar 26%, secara parsial kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional dan dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan sedangkan komite audit berpengaruh.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze financial performance before and after acquisition of PT Bumi Serpong Damai. Financial performance measured by using financial ratio: Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt Equity Ratio (DER). Methods of analysis using comparative descriptive with paired sample t-test, this research data used are the financial statements of PT Bumi Serpong Damai periodof 2008-2014. The result of this research indicate that there are no differences between the financial perfoermance before and afrter acquisition, as measured by current ratio, total asset turnover, debt equity ratio, and return on equity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of either simultaneously or partial historical, tourist attraction and electronic word of mouth to decision visit in De Tjolomadoe Karanganyar, Central Java. The research uses descriptive quantitative. The population is visitors at De Tjolomadoe Karanganyar, Central Java. The sample is 100 respondents. Sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The technique used to analyze the data is multiple linier regression. The results of F-test shows that historical, tourist attraction and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) have simultaneous and significant influence to decision visit. The results of t-test showed that historical, tourist attraction, electronic word of mouth have positive and significant influence to decision visit in De Tjolomadoe Karanganyar Central Java

Abstract

High levels of delay and turnover rates indicate a problem with employee job satisfaction. Several factors that can affect employee job satisfaction are organizational culture and motivation. This study aims to determine the organizational culture, motivation and job satisfaction of employees at PT. Indosat M2 Provisioning & Maintenance Department. The research method used is quantitative method. The type of analysis used is descriptive and using multiple linear regression. Sampling technique in this study using nonprobability sampling by using sample saturated a number of 46 respondents. Data collection was done through questionnaires. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the employee’s assessment of organizational culture is 75.37%, motivation is 75.58% and job satisfaction is 70.65%, it means that organizational culture, motivation and job satisfaction are in high category. The overall results support that organizational culture and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee work satisfaction of PT. Indosat M2 Provisioning & Maintenance Department.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the organizational commitment, organizational culture, and employee performance at Bank BJB Branch Office Tamansari Bandung, and the effect of organizational commitment and organizational culture to the employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative method. Data collection technique uses questionnaires distributed to employees of Bank BJB Branch Office Tamansari Bandung, with the population of 160 employees and the samples 115 employees. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. To interpret the results of the research uses descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, path analysis, and coefficient of determination. The result of data proccessing shows that organizational commitment and organizational culture significantly influence the employee performance at Bank BJB Branch Office Tamansari Bandung, both partially and simultanously.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial ratios in predicting the condition of financial distress, and to determine the factors causing bankruptcy in textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used to predict financial distress is by using the methods of Zmijewski (X-Score), Olhson (Y-Score), Altman (Z-Score), Grover (G-Score) and Springate (S-Score). The results showed that there were companies that ran into financial distress; five of them used Zmijewski (X-Score) method, ten of them used Olhson (Y-Score) method, nine of them used Altman (Z-Score) method, six of them used Grover (G -Score) method, and thirteen of them used the Springate (S-Score) method. Financial distress is caused by two main factors that come from internal and external. Internal factors include financial structure errors, allocation of funding resources, two consecutive losses, and poor management. External factors include government policy, market demand, poor macro conditions, and intense competition.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan e-Government melalui aplikasi e-Filing Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Bandung Cibeunying terhadap kepuasan pengguna aplikasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 100 responden dengan persyaratan pernah menggunakan dan melakukan pelaporan SPT melalui aplikasi e-Filing dan merupakan wajib pajak terdaftar di KPP Pratama Bandung Cibeunying. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan e-Government melalui aplikasi e-Filing KPP Pratama Bandung Cibeunying berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna aplikasi sebesar 70,5%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 29,5% dipengaruhi faktor- faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
