Abstract

Penguatan resiliensi anak usia dini menjadi urgensi penting di tengah meningkatnya tantangan sosial-emosional dan kecenderungan aktivitas sedentari. Data awal menunjukkan masih adanya variasi tingkat resiliensi anak meskipun terlibat dalam aktivitas bermain di satuan PAUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi bermain aktif terstruktur terhadap pengembangan resiliensi anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif-korelasional dengan pendekatan mixed-methods. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 anak usia 4–6 tahun di satuan PAUD Kota Jambi, dengan objek penelitian berupa keterlibatan bermain aktif dan resiliensi anak. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi bermain aktif dan penilaian resiliensi guru berdasarkan tiga dimensi initiative, self-regulation, dan attachment yang diadaptasi dari DECA-P2. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlibatan tinggi dalam bermain aktif berkorelasi dengan peningkatan initiative dan self-regulation, namun sebagian anak masih menunjukkan skor attachment rendah. Penelitian merekomendasikan integrasi bermain aktif terstruktur dengan pendampingan reflektif emosional dalam pembelajaran PAUD.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an important principle in maintaining harmony and tolerance in a multicultural society. Early childhood is a critical phase in character formation, so the values of moderation need to be instilled from an early age. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in instilling the value of religious moderation in early childhood through a literature review of 15 journals, both accredited and non-accredited. This study focuses on three main aspects, namely the concept of religious moderation, the principles of religious moderation in early childhood, and the role of teachers in its application. The results of the study show that teachers have a strategic role in instilling the value of religious moderation through thematic learning, an inclusive approach, and the creation of a learning environment that respects diversity.

Abstract

Research on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in early childhood education has grown rapidly along with the increasing integration of technology in learning. However, comprehensive mapping of research trends and themes remains limited. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of scholarly publications on TPACK in early childhood education. This quantitative study employed a bibliometric approach. The population consisted of all TPACK-related early childhood education articles indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar, with a sample of 312 articles published between 2017 and 2025. Data were collected using documentation sheets and analyzed with VOSviewer software. Bibliometric descriptive analysis and visualization of keyword, author, and citation networks were applied. The findings reveal a significant increase in TPACK-related publications, with dominant themes focusing on teacher competence, digital technology integration, and play-based learning in early childhood settings.

Abstract

Penguasaan kosakata merupakan elemen fundamental dalam kemampuan berbahasa anak pada usia dini, yang mencerminkan anak dapat mengerti dan mampu menggunakan berbagai kata dalam interaksi komunikasi sehari-hari. Namun, fakta menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah pendidik dan lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini masih belum maksimal dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai. Kajian difokuskan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa Indonesia pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD Al-Habib dengan media box papan scrabble. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kajian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan partisipan penelitian berjumlah 14 anak yang terdiri atas 10 anak perempuan dan 4 anak laki-laki. Pengumpul data meliputi lembar pengamatan dan dokumentasi perkembangan penguasaan kosakata peserta didik. Pelaksanaan penelitian dibagi menjadi 2 siklus dengan tahapan yang dimulai dari pemberian dalam bentuk aktivitas rutin di tiap siklusnya. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media box papan scrabble efektif meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia anak, sehingga peneliti menyarankan pendidik agar menerapkan media ini dalam pembelajaran dikelas.

Abstract

Kemampuan dasar sains merupakan cara memperkenalkan konsep-konsep sains melalui pengalaman langsung. Selain itu, kemampuan dasar sains juga dapat menumbuhkan minat anak, memberi anak kesempatan untuk mencoba dan mengasah kemampuan mereka untuk memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini menerapkan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dasar sains melalui eksplorasi lingkungan di TK Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah 06 Medan. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B yang terdiri dari 14 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan dasar anak meningkat secara bertahap. Sebelum dilaksanakannya tindakan, kemampuan sains dasar anak masih rendah, dengan persentase nilai 34,42%. Akan tetapi, pada saat dilakukannya siklus I persentase kemampuan sains dasar anak mencapai 49,28%, kemudian pada siklus II mendaptkan hasil sebesar 82,85%, sehingga penelitian mengenai eksplorasi lingkungan yang dilakukan pada peneliti pada anak melalui 2 siklus tersebut berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan mengamati, memprediksi, mengklasifikasikan, mengukur, dan berkomunikasi anak.

Abstract

Perkembangan emosi anak usia dini merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan PAUD, namun masih banyak anak yang mengalami kesulitan mengontrol emosinya, seperti tantrum. Fenomena ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru PAUD Hasiah Sei Sanggul, Kec. Panai Hilir, dalam menangani anak usia 4–5 tahun yang mengalami tantrum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek guru PAUD Hasiah Sei Sanggul, sedangkan objeknya adalah strategi penanganan tantrum pada anak. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi guru meliputi: (1) mendiamkan dan mengawasi anak, (2) membujuk serta mengalihkan perhatian, dan (3) memberikan konsekuensi atau hukuman ringan sesuai teori Carr dan Harrington. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan guru mengintegrasikan ketiga strategi tersebut secara fleksibel sesuai karakter anak untuk mendukung perkembangan emosi yang sehat.

Abstract

Instilling the value of patience in early childhood is often difficult to understand due to its abstract nature. Therefore, interesting and concrete learning media are needed for children. This study aims to develop a storytelling learning media based on the story of the Prophet Yusuf to instill the value of patience in early childhood. This study adopted a Research and Development (R&D) model. The subjects were students of Al-Azhar Kindergarten in Langsa City, while the object was the storytelling media. The research instruments included observation sheets and expert questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that digital animated storytelling media successfully increased children's understanding of the value of patience through activities such as watching stories, quizzes, and puzzles. Therefore, early childhood teachers recommend the use of digital storytelling media as an alternative learning medium to instill religious and moral values with a more interesting and effective approach.

Abstract

The use of learning media in early childhood education is still limited and tends to be traditional in approach, making it less appealing to children. This situation results in the cognitive development of early childhood not reaching its maximum potential due to the lack of interactive and enjoyable learning tools. This study aims to develop an interactive game media called “Fruit Game's” to improve the cognitive development of early childhood. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at Al-Azhar Kindergarten with subjects aged 4-5 years. The data collection instruments were interviews and validation questionnaires from media experts, subject matter experts, and language experts. The interactive “Fruit Game's” media was declared suitable for use based on the experts' assessment, and media users can improve children's cognitive abilities in recognizing colors, shapes, and simple counting concepts. Interactive educational game learning media is recommended for early childhood teachers as an innovative learning medium to improve the cognitive abilities of early childhood.

Abstract

Early childhood science development needs to be stimulated through engaging learning that is concrete, visual, and based on direct experience, thus requiring appropriate media to support conceptual understanding. Digital literacy can help children understand scientific concepts through visual displays, but its utilization is still less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digital literacy assisted by television media on early childhood science development at RA Al-Munawwarah. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental model, a one-group pretest-posttest design. The entire group B consisted of 40 children as the population in the study, the research sample amounted to 40 children determined using the total sampling technique. The instrument was an observation sheet. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an increase in the average value from 51.13 to 72.38, thus having a significant effect. The results of the study are expected to be a reference for educators in utilizing television media as a means of digital literacy.

Abstract

The problems in this study were the low level of fine art skills among group B children at RA Darul Ikhlas and the fact that the stencil print technique had not yet been implemented in learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of the stencil print technique on the fine art skills of young children. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 15 children from group B3 at RA Darul Ikhlas. The instrument used was an observation sheet with indicators including creating artwork based on creativity, mixing colors, and appreciating the finished artwork. Data analysis techniques used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the paired sample t-test. The findings showed: (1) the average pretest score (20.00) increased to 50.27 in the posttest;and (2) the results of the paired sample t-test obtained a calculated t-value of -34.152 with a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that the stencil print technique has a significant effect on improving children's fine art skills. It is recommended that early childhood education teachers apply the stencil print technique as a learning innovation to develop young children's fine art skills.
