Abstract

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution with a boarding system is anaducation that with has astrategic position in tradinal society, especially amongstudents. This position anables pesantren to become a vehicle for effectiveempowerment for the community while remaining grounded in the cultural valuesthat underlie it.Islamic boarding schools appear to be an institution that has various facilities tobuild the potential of students, not necessarily terms of moral, intellectual andspiritual values, but also physical and material attributs.The article talk camly about the pesantren and Islamic higher educations. Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama merupakan ormas terbesar di Indonesia. KeberadaanNahdlatul Ulama di Indonesia merupakan keniscayaan yang harus dipertahankandemi keutuhan NKRI. Sikap moderat yang dimiliki oleh umat Islam merupakansuatu konsep yang harus dilakukan agar keberlangsungan tatanan kehidupanyang harmonis antara sesama umat Islam dan sesama umat manusia dalambernegara dapat terjaga dengan baik. Nahdlatul Ulama didirikan atas prakarsapara Ulama Nusantara yang memiliki sikap moderat sehingga gerakan-gerakanserta kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat diterima dengan baik olehmasyarakat Indonesia. Untuk mewujudkan tatanan kehidupan yang lebihsejahtera maka Nahdlatul Ulama melakukan berbagai gerakan sosial keagamaanmaupun pengembangan ekonomi umat. Gerakan ini merupakan implementasi darikonsep dasar NU yakni Mabadi Khaira Ummah. Dengan Implementasi MabadiKhaira Ummah diharapkan membawa dampak yang positif bagi kehidupanberagama dan bermasyarakat di Indonesia.Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengungkap prosedurImplementasi Mabadi Khaira Ummah NU di Kabupaten Nganjuk.(2)Mendeskripsikan Relevansi Konsep “Mabadi Khaira Ummah NU” dan ModerasiIslam di Kabupaten Nganjuk(3) Untuk mengkaji dampak Implementasi MabadiKhaira Ummah NU di Kabupaten NganjukPenelitian ini berusaha mengungkap bagaimanakah Implementasi KonsepMabadi Khaira Ummah NU di daerah ini,Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiankualitatif. Dalam penelitian, sumber data ada dua, yaitu manusia dan bukanmanusia. Data dalam penelitian ini, berupa segala sesuatu yang berbentuk datadeskriptif naratif yang diperoleh melalui sejumlah prosedur penelitian. Datapenelitian ini, diperoleh dari sumber data melalui; (a) wawancara mendalam (indepthinterview) dengan pendekatan purposive sampling (informan ditentukanterlebih dahulu) dan Snowball sampling (pengembangan informan sesuai dengankebutuhan data di lapangan).Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakananalisis model interaktif yang terdiri dari, yaitu; (1). Reduksi data (pemilihandata sesuai tema) (2). Display data (penyajian data) serta (3). Penarikankesimpulan/ verifikasi Keabsahan DataKeabsahan data menggunakan tekniktriangulasi. Triangulasi adalah teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yangmemanfaatkan sesuatu yang lain di luar data itu untuk keperluan pengecekanatau sebagai pembanding terhadap data itu.

Abstract

This research is aimed at improving speaking skills of the eleventh graders ofSMK Hidayatul Mubtadien Sampang through acting-out student-made playscripts. This research employed Classroom Action Research. It is consists of 2cycles. Each cycle there were five meetings. Every cycle consists of fourphases in planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research begunwith the preliminary study to find the problems. There were 8 students or 33.33%of students in the class who achieved KKM. The low scores are supportedfrom interview to the English teacher and some students. The result are the studentswere not motivated, lacked vocabulary, afraid and shy of making mistakes, notenthusiastic, bored, the students seldom to perform in speaking activities, teachercentered,and the students were passive in the teaching and learning process. Theresult of the study showed that the speaking test in cycle 1 were 13 students or54.17% and speaking test in cycle 2 were 20 students or 83.33% students in theclass who achieved KKM and the result of fieldnotes are: interested, enthusiastic,spirit, high motivation, active, brave, confident, and enjoy in speaking activities,and the result of questionnaire that the response of the students were strong andvery strong category. Abstract

Pendidikan karakter terdiri atas dua kata yaitu pendidikan dan karakter.Makna dari pendidikan karakter dalam sudut pandang Islam adalah usahasecara sadar yang dilakukan oleh pendidik kepada peserta didik yangbertujuan untuk membentuk kepribadian peserta didik dan membentuk moral,etika, dan rasa berbudaya yang baik serta berakhlak mulia. Pendidikankarakter sangat penting pada saat ini karena sebuah karakter akanmenunjukkan siapa diri kita sebenarnya, karakter akan menentukanbagaimana seseorang membuat keputusan, karakter menentukan sikap,perkataan dan perbuatan sesorang, seseorang yang memiliki karakter yangbaik, maka perkataan serta perbuatannya juga pasti akan baik, dan itu semuaitu akan menjadi sebuah identitas yang menyatu dan mempersonaliasasiterhadap dirinya, sehingga mudah membedakan dengan identitas lainnya.Tujuan Pendidikan karakter dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah dalamrangka untuk membentuk pribadi yang berakhlak mulia, karena Akhlak muliamerupakan pangkal dari segala kebaikan.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan konseptualisasi yang utuh mengenai apa sebenarnya pendidikan khas Aswaja dirasa mendesak, mengingat konsep dan penerapan pendidikan Aswaja sejauh ini masih bersifat artifisial dan cenderung terasing dari dirinya sendiri. Merumuskan seperti apa pendidikan dalam perspektif Aswaja tentu bukan hal yang mudah, maka salah satu langkah yang bisa dilakukan adalah usaha penjernihan konsep-konsep untuk kemudian ditransformasikan ke dalam konsep pendidikan, tentang apa sebenarnya Aswaja, prinsip ajaran, termasuk komentar-komentar tokoh utama Aswaja tentang pendidikan yang tentunya tidak hadir dalam bentuk yang utuh. Tetapi apapun yang terjadi, kondisi semacam ini tidak boleh menjadi penghalang untuk terus menemukan komposisi praktis pendidikan ala Aswaja sehingga ke depan penerapan pendidikan Aswaja tidak kontraporduktif dengan manhaj-nya sendiri. Mengupas pendidikan perspektif Aswaja, tentu saja tidak bisa menafikan aspek teologi Aswaja itu sendiri, termasuk di dalamnya konsep parenial sufisme, dan karya-karya pemikir ulama Sunni di dalamnya.

Abstract

This study serves to determine the extent of the use of scientific approaches inlearning Islamic religious education. The method used in this research is to uselibrary research or library research. Where research uses reference books, articles,and journals related to the research title. The 2013 curriculum is a development ofthe Competency Based Curriculum which was first released in 2004 whichincludes competency attitudes, knowledge, and skills by using a scientificapproach in learning. Learning by using a scientific approach is a learning processthat is designed so that students are actively involved in contradicting principles,concepts, or laws by going through several stages of learning activities. The workprocess of this approach is to prioritize the logic of inductive thinking rather thandeductive. Learning with a scientific approach is a learning process that isdesigned so that students are actively involved in understanding the materialwithout relying on information conveyed by the teacher. The learning step with ascientific approach includes observing, asking, trying, reasoning (associating),concluding, and communicating (forming networks). The use of the scientificapproach is intended so that the material delivered by the teacher or educator canbe understood by students. Before carrying out learning activities using ascientific approach, the teacher must make some preparations by preparinglearning instruments such as lesson plans. Basically, all learning activities are leftto each teacher to be able to develop innovation and creativity. although thepreparation is not the same as the example, but it can provide a reference for theuse of a scientific approach

Abstract

Pesantren or Pondok Pesantren are Islamic boarding school. According to onepopular tradition. As social institutions, pesantren have played a major role overthe centuries. They emphasise cores values of sincerity, simplicity, individualautonomy, solidarity and self-control. Young men and women are separated fromtheir familier, which contributes to a sense of individual commitment to the faithand close bonding to a teacher. Pesantren aim to deepen knowledge of Qur’an,particularly thruugh the study of Arabic, traditions of exegesis, the Sayings of theProphet, law and logic. The term pesantren derives from the root word santri orstudent – pe-santri- or the place of the santri. Pesantren provides to Indonesiancitizens at low cost; although today some modern pesantren charge higher feesthan previously, they are still significantly cheaper than non-pesantreneducational instittutions. The tradisional pattern was for students to work in theheadmaster’s rice fields in exchange for food, shelter, and education. Allpesantren are led by a group of teachers and religious leaders known Kyai. TheKyai is respected as teacher and devout man. Kyai also play important roles in inthe community as a religious leader and in recent years as a political figure.There are Kyai families that have a long history of serving in this role. Somecontemporary Kyai are the grandsons and great-grandsons of famous historialfigures who established well known pesantren

Abstract

Madrasas as a type of school education institution have the same duties andresponsibilities as other educational institutions that are under the guidance ofthe Ministry of Education and Culture. In order for education in the madrasas tobe effective, a complete and well-organized educational facility can be used asfully as possible to support a quality teaching and learning process. Based on thedescription of the discussion, a summary of conclusions is obtained: (1)Management of educational facilities and infrastructure is structuring activities,starting from the needs, procurement, inventory, storage, maintenance, use andstorage of complete arrangement of land, buildings, equipment, and schoolequipment available for and target. (2) Types of education can be divided intolearning tools and educational media. While the two types of infrastructure arebuildings and furniture.
