Abstract

This study aimed to examine (1) the direct effect of goal-setting participation on goal commitment, (2) indirect effect of goal-setting participation on goal commitment with procedural fairness and interpersonal trust as intervening variables. The data for this study was collected by sending a questionnaire via email using the Google Forms. 411 questionnaire are send to middle manager who work of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange, and 74 responses are returned and due to incomplete data nine questionnaire were dropped. The hypothesis were tested by using Partial Least Square (PLS)2.0 M3. Seven out of eight hypotheses were accepted. Result of this study proved that (1) goal-setting participation has no significant effect on goal commitment; (2) no direct effect of goal-setting participation on goal commitment; (3) goal-setting participation has indirect effect toward goal commitment through procedural fairness and interpersonal trust as intervening variables.

Abstract

This study aims to provide information on the level of satisfaction of trainees Journal service quality training quality and the most influential factor in the region Ko3f gpertis III. Methods of data collection in this study using the registration documentation (questionnaires), interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques servqual quantitative analysis method and Cartesian diagrams using SPSS 17. Based on the research results can be obtained gap (the gap value) of tangible dimension, realibility, responsivness, empathy, and assurance sequentially ie -1.69, -2.12, - 2:09, -2.04, and -1.75. Based on the analysis Cartesian diagram attributes into three main priorities for repair ie friendliness, attention and courtesy of the staff committee and their instructors, clear information about the facility and rules for participants, classroom facilities to support teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a data processing procedure based on the information technology as a tool to produce the information in a timely and effective way to support the management in decision making process. In developing a management information system, quality approach has become essential factor due to the function of quality control in assuring the performance of the organization activities. Establishing of Management Information Systems at the higher education institution driven by many reason, such as: (1) Management Information Systems is designed to support the operations, management, and decision functions of an organization, (2) Management Information Systems enable the organizations planning, control, and operational functions to be carried out effectively and the means of efficient coordination between Departments; quick and reliable referencing (3) Management Information System could be a tool by striving to  highest quality standards in the teaching and learning process, (4) Management Information Systems provides a valuable time-saving benefit to the workforce in term of quick and reliable referencing; access to relevant data and documents; use of less labor; improvement in organizational and departmental techniques; management of day-to-day activities and (5) Management Information Systems can effectively respond to the changing of society demands in their interest in dependable and reliable information as well as easily accessible with  interactively forms. This paper describes the quality approach in developing of Management Information system in Higher Education Institution, which highlighted the role Management Information Systems plays in the success of the operation and in allowing the higher education institution to evolve and meet the challenges posed by the government, students and other stakeholders.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to determineif intellectual capital could mediate the influence of knowledge management on the branch performance offices of state-owned banks. If we compare to the ASEAN banks, the performance of state-owned banks is weak, especially in the case of operational cost efficiency depressing the potential for large profits. The low level of performance cannotbeseparatedfrom of the low performance of branch offices. BI's expectation as stipulated in the BI Regulation of 2010 is that the banking sector should perform the maximum role of branch offices because if the management of branch offices understandknow more than head officedoes.The improvement in knowledge management should be made by state-owned banks at branch offices.Beside, it is necessary that aggregation of all knowledge and employee competence that allows companies to gain competitive advantage. In my research, the method of research used is explanatory survey. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using LISREL was chosen to test the hypothesis.152 pieces of sample were taken from the whole state-owned banksoffices in West Java. The focus of the assessment is the branch officees of state-owned banks located in the region of West Java because the industry's contribution in the region to GRDP is relatively large. My research concluded that the effect of Knowledge Management on Intellectual Capital was significant. The effect of Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital on the performance of each Branch Office is significant. In this case intellectual capital played a role in mediating the effect  of Knowledge Management to the Branch performance Offices of state-owned banks in West Java. The Branch offices conducting knowledge management continuously resulted the good intellectual capital, which would strengthen the role of knowledge management in improving the branch performance.

Abstract

Munculnya toko toko baru biasanya menimbulkan “pergerakan konsumen” dari satu toko yang sudah ada kepada toko yang baru muncul. Toko toko yang letaknya saling berdekatan saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain dalam memperebutkan konsumen yang sama sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa kinerja toko secara keseluruhan menjadi tidak efisisien. Model Elektrostatik atau Model Coulomb yang diperkenalkan oleh ahli Fiska abad 18, Charles Augustine de Coulomb dapat digunakan dalam menganalisis pengaruh toko terhadap konsumennya sehingga dapat dibuatkan desain toko agar kinerjanya menjadi efisien. Makalah ini dibuat melalui riset diskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengambil sampel 5 buah toko dengan ukuran dan jenis yang berbeda. Responden diambil sebanyak 60 orang per toko  dengan total responden sebanyak 300 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  besar ukuran toko  dan keragaman produk yang dijual mempengaruhi daya tarik toko terhadap konsumen.Introducing new store to customer usually create the “customer shift” from the existing store to the new one. When the new store is located nearby the existing one, the shifting could not be avoided; it means the efficiency of store is becoming less than before. In order to optimize the efficiency of store the distance between stores should be managed. This paper implements theClassic Model of Electrostatic Forces that also known as Model of Coulomb.The Model was promoted by France Physicist, Charles Augustine de Coulomb, in 18th Century. The attractiveness of store to customer is represented by the electrostatic force on the Model. This paper is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach; the object of research is 5 (five) stores with different types in term of size and product offered. There were 60 qualified respondents selected on each store, in total it was 300 respondents. The result of the research tells that the size of store and the homogeneity of product offered are influencing the attractiveness ofthe store to the customer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine whether these markets react differently to market upturns and market downturns of markets using VAR models. This study finds that following:. First, in line with many studies on international interdependencies of equity prices,. Second, the evidence strongly suggests significant responses of the ASEAN markets to the US exchange rate downturns Third, the pattern of responses based on impulse response functions further substantiate asymmetric responses of these markets to positive and negative shocks in the US exchange rate. Practical implications, suggest that the benefits of international portfolio diversification. The originality of  study is  exchange rates US have an impact on ASEAN stock market integration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada Lembaga Pelayanan Publik TVRI. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada Lembaga Pelayanan Publik TVRI. (3) Mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada Lembaga Pelayanan Publik TVRI. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified random sampling, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan penyebaran kuisioner, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS 19.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Artinya Lingkunagn kerja yang kondosif akan tercipta peningkatan kepuasan kerja. (2) Motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Artinya motivasi yang tinggi akan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. (3) Lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja; besarnya pengaruh adalah 34.9%.This study aims to: (1) To determine the effect of the work environment on employee job satisfaction at the General Directorate of Public Services TVRI. (2) To determine the effect of work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the General Directorate of Public Services TVRI. (3) To determine the effect of the working environment and motivation to work together on employee job satisfaction at the General Directorate of Public Services TVRI. The analysis technique used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. Sampling was done by stratified random sampling technique, while the technique of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, which are then processed using SPSS 19.0. The results showed that: (1) The working environment has a significant impact on job satisfaction. This means that a conducive working environment will be increased job satisfaction. (2) Motivation of work has a significant impact on job satisfaction. This means that high motivation will be able to increase job satisfaction, (3) The work and motivation to work together to have a significant impact on job satisfaction; the influence is 34.9%.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara profesionalisme, iklim sekolah, dan integritas dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Jakarta Timur. Survei dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan sampel 100 orang guru dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan tenik korelasional. Temuan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Terdapat hubungan antaraprofesionalisme dengankinerja. Dengan kata lain makin tinggi profesionalisme guru akan makin baik kinerjanya. (2) Terdapat hubungan antaraiklim sekolah dengankinerja. Dengan kata lain makin tinggi iklim sekolah akan makin baik kinerja guru. (3) Terdapat hubungan antaraintegritas dengankinerja. Dengan kata lain, makin tinggi integritas guru maka makin tinggi kinerjanya. (4) Terdapat hubungan antaraprofesionalisme, iklim sekolah, dan integritas secara bersama-sama dengankinerja. Dengan kata lain, makin tinggi profesionalisme guru, iklim sekolah, dan integritas guru secara bersama-sama maka makin tinggi kinerjanya.The study aims to analyze the relationship between professionalism, school climate, teacher performance and integrity of the Junior High School in East Jakarta. The survey was conducted in this study with a sample of 100 teachers with simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using correlational technique. The research findings are as follows. (1) There is a relationship between the professionalism and the performance. In other words, the higher the professionalism of teachers will be better performance. (2) There is a relationship between school climate and the performance. In other words, the higher the school climate will be better teacher performance. (3) There is a relationship between the integrity and the performance. In other words, the higher the integrity of the teacher so the higher the performance. (4) There is a relationship between professionalism, school climate, and integrity together with the performance. In other words, the higher the professionalism of teachers, school climate, and integrity of teachers together so the higher the performance.

Abstract

This study aims to make a description of attractions to tourist destinations in North Sumatra. Sharia area is in the object of observation in West Sumatra province. The research subject is a tourist destination in the city. Sharia description analysis method (comparing between reality and expectations) the potential of sharia tourism is carried out through, a tourism manager survey of tourists on visits to tourism sites, and local government. This research was conducted by spreading, questionnaire, interview, and observation. The method of analyzing of data-fired different methods than Levene’s test for equality of SPSS variances and software. The result of the research proved that all tourists’ variables attraction, amanitas, accessibility and ancillary shows of the values were lower than the hope Levene’s Test for equality of variances proved which are considerable.
