Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many social problems for the community, including students. Students who are teenagers must adapt to the online learning system. Adolescents experience anxiety in the form of academic pressure, anxiety that they cannot follow online learning well, the task load is felt to be piling up, online learning is not effective because there is no direct interaction with lecturers, and so on. This quantitative descriptive study was designed to identify anxiety in students of the Diploma III Midwifery Study Program and Midwifery Study Program Undergraduate Program and Midwifery Professional Education Program STIKes MERCUBAKTIJAYA Padang. A modified questionnaire from the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) form was distributed in google form to 138 Midwifery students. Data were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that almost half of the respondents (42%) were 19 years old, almost half (47.8%) were in semester 2 or level 1. More than half (53.6) of students lived in boarding houses, with adequate internet network conditions by 61.6%. More than half (59.4%) of students stated that they were quite capable of doing assignments with computers and 63.7% stated that online learning was not effective. More than half of the respondents (54.3%) had a moderate level of anxiety in dealing with online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This anxiety can be reduced by providing various counseling services such as individual counseling services, guidance and group counseling. Universities must be able to facilitate this with teleconsultation services with academic advisors and psychologists if needed if student anxiety adversely affects learning outcomes and causes disturbances to students' mental health.

Abstract

One of the efforts to produce quality human resources (HR) is to reduce morbidity and mortality of children under five. The development of the quality of human resources by optimizing the potential for growth and development of children can be carried out evenly, if a community-based health service system such as posyandu can be carried out effectively and efficiently and can reach all targets that need services such as child growth and development, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and postpartum mothers. . Posyandu is a form of Community Based Health Efforts (UKBM) which is managed and organized from, by for and with the community in the implementation of health development, in order to empower the community and provide convenience to the community in obtaining basic health services to accelerate the reduction of maternal and infant mortality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's level of knowledge and age of toddlers with visits by mothers with toddlers to the new normal era posyandu in Pekalongan city. This research was conducted using a descriptive correlative research method with a cross sectional approach, sampling with a saturated sampling technique with a total of 37 mothers who have toddlers 1-5 years. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet and the analysis used was Chi Square statistical test. Based on the results of univariate analysis, most of the children who visited the posyandu were aged 3 years, namely 10 children (31.2%), with parental education as many as 22 respondents (68.8%) having higher education (PT), dominated by working parents as many as 24 children (75%). A total of 25 respondents (78.1%) visited the posyandu regularly and most of the respondents had a good level of knowledge, as many as 29 respondents (20%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between children's age and posyandu visits (p value 0.217) and there was a relationship between parents' knowledge level and posyandu visits (p value 0.002). It is hoped that parents who have children aged 1-5 years will continue to routinely bring their children to the posyandu in the new normal era even though they still apply health protocols.

Abstract

Shrimp paste is the result of processing broth or shrimp juice which is blackish brown in color and has a distinctive aroma. Usually the raw material for making shrimp paste is a whole shrimp head, ground and given enough water and then squeezed. Shrimp paste that is stored for too long or open state in the storage allows shrimp paste to be contaminated by bacteria and fungi such as Rhizopus sp, Mucor sp, Aspergillus sp and Penicillium sp. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was fungal contamination in shrimp paste sold at the Pasar Pagi Tegal. The research method used is descriptive research, which is describes the phenomenon of the object under study in the narrative form. Samples were obtained by taking 12 samples of shrimp paste taken from 12 shrimp paste traders in Pasar Pagi Tegal. The fungus was identified by culturing on Sabouraud Glucose Agar (SGA) media, incubated for 3-7 days at 37ºC and then observed macroscopically and microscopically. The results showed that based on macroscopic and microscopic examinations, shrimp paste sold at Pasar Pagi Tegal was 34% contaminated with Aspergillus sp, 33% contaminated with Penicillium sp and Aspergillus sp, 17% contaminated with Penicillium sp, 8% contaminated with Rhizopus sp and Aspergillus sp, and 8% contaminated with Rhizopus sp

Abstract

Calcium oxalate includes urinary sediment as a combination of calcium and oxalate, calcium can be deposited by oxalate forming calcium oxalate that the body cannot absorb, then into insoluble salt deposits and become kidney stone disease. Water prevents the formation of calcium oxalate crystals. So it is recommended to consume at least 2 liters a day so that the urine released will increase and reduce the concentration of salt and minerals in the body. This study to find out the effect of water consumption on the picture of oxalate crystals in the urine of AAK Pekalongan students before and after consuming water as much as 2 liters per day. Types of analytical observational studies with different T paired test statistical tests, sample numbers of 22 samples and microscopic examination. The results of the study of calcium oxalate in urine before consuming water as much as 2 liters obtained the results of 6 samples (27.28%) negative, 5 samples (22.72%) positive 1.1 sample (4.55%) positive 2 and 10 samples (45.45%) positive 3, while in the sample after consuming water as much as 2 liters obtained 20 samples (90.90%) negative, 1 sample (4.55%) positive 1.1 samples (4.55%) positive 2 and 0 samples (0%) positive 3. Statistical results state that there is an influence before and after water consumption on the picture of calcium oxalate in the urine of AAK Pekalongan students.

Abstract

The Blood Smear is a slide whose one of the surfaces is coated using a thin layer of blood and stained with painting of giemsa or wright. Before painting, the preparation is fixated with methanol (methyl alcohol). Prolonged fixation should be avoided because methanol affects subsequent painting and causes some inhibition of intracellular enzymes. Methanol that is left too long in the open air will evaporate (decrease in concentration) and contain water so that it will affect erythrocyte morphology. This study aims to find out the effect of variations in sadt fixation time on giemsa painting on the morphology of red blood cells. This type of research is an experiment. The sample numbered 30 in the form of peripheral blood smear preparations divided by 3 based on variations in fixation time of 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes. The results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a signification value of 0.00 < 0.05 means that there is a significant difference in time variation in the morphological quality of cells. And the fixation time is best with a fixation time of 3 minutes, at a fixation of 5 minutes still found some crenation cells (cell grinding) with moderate criteria (<3) while fixation with a time of 10 minutes is found a lot of crenation cells (>3).

Abstract

Preeclampsia if not treated properly, can lead to the death of the mother and baby. The cause of preeclampsia is unknown, women with a high BMI (Body Mass Index) or obesity before pregnancy are at greater risk for developing preeclampsia. This study is an observational analytic study with a case control approach with a retrospective approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between BMI and preeclampsia. The sample of this study was divided into case groups, namely third trimester pregnant women with preeclampsia and control group samples; namely third trimester pregnant women who did not experience preeclampsia. The number of samples in each group was 14 respondents. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that most (19 respondents) pregnant women with TM III (67.9%) with abnormal BMI experienced preeclampsia as many as 13 respondents (46.4%). Meanwhile, of the 9 respondents of TM III pregnant women with normal BMI, most of them did not experience preeclampsia, namely 8 respondents (28.6%). Chi Square test results obtained p - value = 0.005 (< 0.05) which indicates there is a relationship between BMI and preeclampsia. More pregnancy monitoring in pregnant women with obesity and overweight categories is needed to avoid the occurrence of preeclampsia.
