Abstract

Pengendalian Robot saat ini memerlukan sistem kontrol yang dapat memudahkan interaksi antara manusia dan robot sehingga dalam hal ini dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pengendalian dengan perangkat yang banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yaitu Smartphone dengan Sistem Operasi Android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat sistem pengendalian robot humanoid dengan memanfaatkan smartphone android sebagai media komunikasi dan intruksi dengan menggunakan perintah suara. pada Android serta sebagai data perintah pergerakan robot humanoid yang ditransmisikan secara online melalui Firebase yang berarti Aplikasi Smartphone dan Robot harus terkoneksi internet. Perangkat pengolah data yang digunakan pada robot adalah Raspberry Pi 3 Model B dengan protokol komunikasi serial dalam mengirim data pergerakan ke motor servo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa robot dapat dikendalikan dengan perintah suara secara jarak jauh pada Smartphone, serta mudah dioperasikan tanpa membutuhkan perangkat khusus, dari hasil uji kecepatan pengiriman data yaitu rata-rata 5,58 detik dengan kecepatan internet sebesar 7,79Mbps, kemudian penangkapan suara rata-rata error sebesar 1,86%.

Abstract

Industrial development in the new emerging countries were becoming attractive to OEM manufacturers since a decade ago by proofing stronger reliability of the industrial system enhanced by most countries separately. Especially, after the publicity of the German Government’s campaign on its Industrial Revolution 4.0 by smart factory, where more and more digital technology being created and launched to the market. This unique period is called the disruptive innovation where previous generation before millennials are still in the productive ages while all the digital techies invades almost all professional tools regarding of the common practices used by them. However, while such rapid changes are continuously occurring, most productive aspects of communities’ response positively to their youngsters by letting them lead most of the productive arenas with their excellent seamless leadership handover. The manufacturing world is among the leading sectors to response to the disruptive innovation by mapping all the system’s requirement to be implemented by millennial for responding the global world by structuring the concept of community-based companies into world class manufacturers. The process of rapid transformation in the manufacturing world was done in the suppliers of most OEM companies by structuring levels of their manufacturing system and enhancing facilities by equipping digital technology in their production machineries and also satisfying the key performance indicators of being reliable vendors. The enhancement track records were researched and made available to public by the local government agents so that more medium scale companies could cope with their projects of supplying goods to meet OEM companies’ requirement. The methodology of manufacturing system development is discussed in this paper including the benefits for some industries leading to catch up with their own development programs leading to global competitive players.

Abstract

Nowadays, improvement of technology is rapidly changing and improving, with the improvement of technology then there will be an impact. Electronic device control can be applied in the application of smart home system using electronic control device based on Internet of Things (IoT) and can be controlled remotely with the purpose of increasing efficiency, safety and comfort. This research has an objective to design and to make a system which can be accessed everywhere based on IoT. This research is using experimental methodology which use a WEMOS D1 mini as a master to act as a connector between hardware and software. Furthermore, Arduino Mega 2650 is used as a slave which is controlled by WEMOS D1 mini. Arduino Mega has a function to control the lighting and the gate system, while the installation isnside the house is controlled directly by the WEMOS D1 mini. Moreover, a Real Time Clock (RTC) is used for capturing data with a realtime of date and time. After that, the data will be uploaded into the firebase server, thinkspeak, and ubidots. In addition, the interface which is used is MIT App Inventor which has a function to control and monitor the system. The conclusion of this research is that the system accsess’ and control the house both inside and outside the house. Furthermore, the handphone application is already installed and can be used already. The solution when there are no internet connection in the house is that by using Bluetooth or TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) through the wifi inside the house.

Abstract

Fish farming group Mina Jaya Kalijaran village has potential in producing vegetables in the use of aquaponic system, this is because it is supported by abundant waste catfish cultivation. Utilization of catfish cultivation waste is still not maximized. Utilization of catfish cultivation by most members of fish farming group Mina Jaya Kalijaran village still has not led to produce agricultural products in the form of vegetables with aquaponic system. The aim of the empowerment activities of fish farming group Mina Jaya Kalijaran village is to provide knowledge, training and mentoring in utilizing the waste of catfish cultivation using the aquaculture system to produce agricultural products in the form of vegetables and reducing environmental pollution by the catfish cultivation waste. The activity received positive response from fish farming group of Mina Jaya Kalijaran village. The result of this empowerment activities is fish farming group Mina Jaya Kalijaran village become an undestand an able to make installation of aquaponic system by utilizing waste catfish farming to get additional results namely agricultural products in the form of and can reducing environmental pollution.

Abstract

Pipe connecting system that is connected with a valve using a flange connection. This aims to make it easier to install or disconnect when needed. This connection system includes pipe connections to fittings, valves, equipment, or other parts which are separate parts of the piping system. The analysis of the flange strength on the 4 inch ball valve ANSI 300 aims to determine and ensure that the flange has strength and is safe at the time of tide due to the influence of the torque bolt. In addition, to ensure the connection does not leak when the fluid is passed. The main combination between internal, axial pressure and thermal loading needs to be considered. Flange strength analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method with use of Solid works software. The analysis of flange strength uses the method of "Flange as weakest part philosophy", namely the full rating used when the value of a certain pressure-temperature on ASME B16.5 is taken for the Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP) in the piping system. From the results of the FEA analysis, it was found that the flange on the 4 inch ANSI 300 ball valve meets the requirements according to MAWP at different temperatures and pressures. The value of the safety factor also shows that the flange is safe during the piping work process.

Abstract

Planting conventional strawberry plants is quite difficult because it requires space, labor, water, and fertile land. Therefore, planting plants without soil can be applied. The aeroponic system is a planting method that lets the roots hanging in the air then sprayed with nutrients. It could reduce water consumption, fertilizer, and land maximization. The mist nozzle controlled by a microcomputer with Fuzzy logic will spray the plant with a temperature and humidity sensor input. Root nutrient controlled by the on-off method. LED is controlled according to time. The system can be monitored and controlled with an Android interface called Blynk. The results of this study are the achievement of the average value of the root zone temperature is 23.3 ℃ from 18-30 ℃, and the crown temperature 21.5 ℃ from 14-25 ℃. Besides, root and crown moisture is also included in the 85-95% range, namely 89% and 93%. Monitoring and control systems can be done remotely using the Blynk application.

Abstract

many applications apply it, both in the commercial and law enforcement fields. Face recognition is a system that used to identify based on the facial characteristic of a biometric-based person which has high accuracy. Face Recognition can be used in security system. Many methods are used in face recognition for security system, but in this paper will discuss only about 2 methods, there are Two Dimensial Principal Component Analysis and Kernel Fisher’s Discriminant Analysis and each methods use K-Nearest Neighbor for the class classification. For the testing system, both of them use the cross validation testing method. From the previous research, the face recognition accuracy with 5-folds cross validation of Two Dimensial Principal Component Analysis method is 88,73%, while the accuracy with 2-folds cross validation of it is 89,25%. And the average of Kernel Fisher Discriminant Analysis’ accuracy is about 83,10%.

Abstract

Welding is an inseparable part of the growth of industrial improvements because it plays a leading role in the engineering and repair of metal production.This study aims to determine the effect of cooling media on the hardness of weld metal and HAZ (heat Affected Zone) which tested hardness using the Rockwell method. This research was conducted on ST 37 low carbon steel material which was welded using 2.6 mm diameter E6013 electrode with blunt connection, then cooled using white cement powder.Welding metal cooled with white cement powder media has a harder hardness, because white cement contains C2S which is difficult to hydrate and does not have heat properties. After testing at several points, the result is an average value of raw material specimens is 48, 3 HRB, welding without isolator media = 42.96 HRB and HAZ = 46.4 HRB. Specimens using white cement powder = 47.65 HRB and HAZ = 48.2 HRB. Seen from this phenomenon and white cement has a hardness value lower than air, where the HAZ at the air value hardness was 46.4 HRB and the value of the white cement was higher at 48.2 HRB.

Abstract

Education about earthquakes in Indonesia must be optimized. One alternative to optimize education about earthquakes is through augmented reality. The use of augmented reality media is in line with advances in information technology that are also familiar in people's lives. The formulation of the problem in this paper is how to design augmented reality as an earthquake education’s media?. The purpose of writing is to know the design of augmented reality as an earthquake education media. The writing method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and literature study. The augmented reality making model uses a waterfall model consisting of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Augmented reality content that contains 3D animation about the types of earthquake processes and earthquakes, as well as 2D animated videos on disaster mitigation that are packaged in a complete and interesting way.

Abstract

With the rapid development of technology today the refrigerator freezer (refrigerator) as a tool to help us in storing food for long lasting. Refrigeration is a process of absorption of heat from a substance or product so that the temperature is below the ambient temperature whereas, refrigerant is a substance used as a working fluid in the heat absorption process. It is this substance that circulates in the refrigeration machine, which absorbs heat from the object or air that is cooled, then dumps it into the surrounding air outside the object or room that is cooled. In the use of refrigenerator often experience damage, so it is necessary to analyze the damage. The analysis showed that there was damage to the AR 763 refrigerator freezer, namely the cooling system was blocked due to the refrigerator not operating (damaged) and causing the refrigerant in the system to freeze which caused the system to not work. Furthermore, the filter must be replaced because the filter holds a lot of dirt and there are damaged electrical components such as thermo fuse and timers due to the lifetime of the componen
