Abstract

UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) is an aerial vehicle without pilot that can be controlled. There are two types of UAV, fixed wing and rotary wing. Quadcopter becomes one of rotary wing type UAV that is commonly used in various needs, like exploration and imaging. In this study, Quadcopter is used as the vehicle that moves following the path produced by the GPS on followed objek (main modul). The type of the GPS installed on Quadcopter (GPS1) and main modul (GPS2) are GPS Ublox NEO. The working principle of the system is Quadcopter follows the track coordinates generated by GPS1, which GPS1 track data is sent to the Quadcopter using Bluetooth media. While the Quadcopter moves, it will continuously compare the coordinate data produced by the Quadcopter's position with the track coordinate data that had been received. Testing on the Main Module GPS Receiver (GPS1) and GPS Receiver Quadcoter (GPS2), both GPS is able to get GPS data from satellites, but data can be lost or deviated in confined spaces. Error / difference in data from GPS1 and GPS2 in Quadcopter movement testing to follow the Main Module as the destination point at latitude and longitude, respectively, are 53% and 51%.

Abstract

many applications apply it, both in the commercial and law enforcement fields. Face recognition is a system that used to identify based on the facial characteristic of a biometric-based person which has high accuracy. Face Recognition can be used in security system. Many methods are used in face recognition for security system, but in this paper will discuss only about 2 methods, there are Two Dimensial Principal Component Analysis and Kernel Fisher’s Discriminant Analysis and each methods use K-Nearest Neighbor for the class classification. For the testing system, both of them use the cross validation testing method. From the previous research, the face recognition accuracy with 5-folds cross validation of Two Dimensial Principal Component Analysis method is 88,73%, while the accuracy with 2-folds cross validation of it is 89,25%. And the average of Kernel Fisher Discriminant Analysis’ accuracy is about 83,10%.

Abstract

The implementation of Quick Response (QR) Code to share or store information increased widely. QR code can quickly provide a data or information such as contact person, plain text, URLs or other data by scan a QR code using smartphone camera. The raised of QR code implementation must to be follow by a level of data security. In this journal we will discuss a number of processes that can be used to improve data security in QR codes. In computer science there are several terms related to data protection i.e. Cryptography and Steganography. Cryptography focuses on securing information in the data exchange process. Steganography is a process of hiding information into an object that cannot be detected by anyone without a steganographic key. With these two processes i.e. cryptography and steganography or a combination of both, the data embedded in the QR code will not be easy to translate. The method that will be discussed is Speck Algorithm encryption and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a combination of Steganography. Both methods succeed in converting confidential information into data that is not easily recognized. Confidential information that goes through a steganographic process becomes difficult to detect and gives the wrong message to a third party.

Abstract

Didactics or mini plant teaching aids help students in colleges to understand the use of industrial equipment The SCADA-based water level control system is one of the teaching aid simulator equipment for monitoring and controlling water levels. In this research, PLC is used as a controller with three I/O modules  digital input module, digital output, and analog input and output. Arduino is also used as an analog output converter from PLC to actuator. The control method used is PID control. In the PID control, there are control parameters, namely Kp, Ki, and Kd. The third parameter was determined by the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method and compared with the Coohen-Coon method. The SCADA software that used is Wonderware Intouch on a system using a kepserver. The results of this study indicate that the Cohen-Coon tuning method for proportional control Kp = 1 produces the best response in water level control with a settling time of 21s and a rise time of 18s.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the theft rate is still quite high. According to Bappeda data, cases of theft still tend to be high. In 2019, there were 362,000 cases of theft. CCTV use is still ineffective because at the time of the theft of goods, we only know the goods taken and the perpetrators. In order to catch the perpetrators and return the goods, it is necessary to process them first and find the location of the perpetrators themselves. Therefore, we propose an idea entitled "Activation Control System in Motorized Vehicles Using GPS". Where this tool will detect the position of a vehicle so that this vehicle remains in a restricted area. When this vehicle leaves the restricted area, the GPS system will send a signal explaining that the vehicle is leaving the area. So, if there is a theft, when the vehicle has moved away from about 50 meters from the area that has been locked, a notification will appear which will be displayed on the web application. The research stages that we will work on are first identifying the equipment and systems that will be used and conducting a study of the technology literature that will be developed, then identifying the theoretical and empirical system design and knowing the basic elements. Then master and understand the characterization of components and analyze the main functions so that they can work properly. Then do modelling and simulation and ensure that the components to be developed can work properly. And the final stage is to ensure that the system equipment is valid and reliable. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the system is active when the actual position away from the locked position/area as far as 100 meters has successfully functioned. Where the information changes to "Out of reach" from the previous "Within Reach" and there are notifications in the form of sound and vibration to increase security from theft.

Abstract

Pariwisata di suatu daerah merupakan salah satu penggerak ekonomi. Situ Cileunca merupakan suatu danau di daerah Pangalengan yang dikenal sebagai tempat wisata. Ditegah danau tersebut terdapat sebuah kampung yang disebut Kampung Cibuluh. Sebagai tempat wisata, Kampung Cibuluh memiliki keterbatasan fasilitas berupa penerangan dan peta informasi lokasi wisata. Melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dalam mengambil peran tridarma perguruan tinggi yaitu pengabdian pada masyarakat, Mahasiswa Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung melakukan rencana pembuatan alat untuk menerangi jalan umum dan peta lokasi berupa sign system di sekitar kampung Cibuluh. Dilakukan analisis berdasarkan survei terhadap alat penerangan jalan secara umum dan penunjuk lokasi, lalu hasilnya dibuat desain rancangan dari kedua alat yang akan dibuat. Setelah itu dilakukan pembuatan dan pemasangan kedua alat tersebut. Setelah dilakukan uji coba, baik penerangan jalan maupun peta lokasi wisata dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Akhirnya penerangan jalan dan peta lokasi berupa sign system di Kampung Cibuluh Situ Cileunca Pangalengan dapat dipasang dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat maupun wisatawan di sekitar Situ Cileunca, Desa Cibuluh.

Abstract

Pembuangan kotoran ternak sembarangan harus dikelola dengan baik sehingga tidak menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan baik air, tanah dan udara (bau). Pengalengan merupakan sentra peternakan sapi yang berada di daerah bandung, Jawa Barat. Terdapat peternakan sapi yang dimiliki oleh warga. Peternakan sapi menghasilkan susu sebagai produk/hasil utama dan menghasilkan limbah sampingan berupa kotoran sapi dan urine. Kotoran sapi sebagian digunakan sebagai pupuk,media budidaya cacing. Dan sebagaian lainnya dibuang di perairan. Belum adanya pemanfaatan kotoran sapi sebagai bahan biogas, sementara pemanfaatan kotoran sebagai bahan biogas merupakan pilihan yang tepat. Dengan reaktor berteknologi sederhana, kotoran ternak dirubah menjadi bahan baku gas untuk komsumsi rumah. Pada kegiatan kuliah kerja nyata ini, dilakukan perancangan, impelementasi dan evaluasi pembuatan reaktor biogas. Hari hasil impelemtasi pembuatan reaktor, proses pengisian dan reaksi bahan baku kotoran selama 7 hari didaptkan pertambahan tekanan gas pada kantong penampungan biogas sampai 0.45 kg/cm2 dan penambahan volume sebesar 0.05 cm3. Dalam waktu 7 hari, gas hasil reaksi sudah dapat diujicoba sebagai bahan bakar gas untuk kompor gas. Dari hasil percobaan, nyala api dapat dihasilkan di kompor gas.

Abstract

Krisis air bersih merupakan tantangan global yang mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, terutama di wilayah pedesaan yang belum memiliki infrastruktur memadai. Desa Cibuluh, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat, meskipun memiliki sumber air yang melimpah, menghadapi kendala dalam distribusi air bersih dari sumber air bersih ke pemukiman warga. Menanggapi permasalahan ini, Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung melalui program pengabdian masyarakat menerapkan teknologi pompa hidram di Kampung Ciseupan sebagai solusi distribusi air yang hemat energi dari sumber air bersih ke penampungan. Kegiatan ini mencakup survei lokasi, perancangan, perakitan, instalasi, dan uji fungsi pompa bersama warga. Teknologi pompa hidram memanfaatkan energi aliran air secara gravitasi tanpa memerlukan listrik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan 10 warga dalam pembangunan dan memberikan manfaat bagi 35 kepala keluarga. Pompa hidram yang dibuat mampu mengalirkan air dengan debit 0,13 liter/detik di titik keluar penampungan. Teknologi ini berhasil membuat akses air bersih ke warga dengan biaya operasional rendah serta mendukung kualitas hidup masyarakat. Kolaborasi aktif dengan warga membuktikan efektivitas penerapan teknologi tepat guna sebagai solusi berkelanjutan untuk infrastruktur dasar di pedesaan.
