Abstract

The research is almed ti analyze (1) The influence of burpee workout on leg muscle explosive power and swmming speed (2) The influence of box jump workout on workout on leg muscle explosive power and swimming speed (3) The difference of burpee and box jump workout on leg muscle explosive power and swimming speed. This research is quasi experimental research with quantitative descriptive analysis. It is a population research where the number of population and samples are same. They are 24 athletes which contain of 8 athletes in experimental group I, 8 athletes in experimental group II and 8 athletes in control group. The data research is ordinal pairing. In collecting data of leg muscle explosive power, the researcher uses stopwatch, jump md and scale while in collecting data of swimming speed. The researcher uses stopwatch. The data analysis uses normality test, homogeneity test and T-test with SPSS 20.0. The finding of this research reveals that : (1) burpee workout can increase the leg muscle explosive power up to 6,98 % and swimming speed up to 4,55 % (2) box jumping workout can increase the leg muscle explosive power up to 8,13 % and swimming speed up to 3,53 % (3) box jump workout is the most effective workout to increase leg muscle explosive power and swimming speed in swimming clubs athletes of Taman Tirta Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Wushu Sanshou is a martial sport of China and background research is to determine the development of athlete puslatda wushu sanshou East Java. National sport week is a national sport festival held every 4 years that followed by provience exist in Indonesia. Almost all kind of sportsare contested in this festival including Wushu sanshou. The purpose of this study is to find perspective management team puslatda wushu sanshou east java in preparation national sports that XIX years 2016 in West Java.To improve their performance athletes of course affected many factors among them: the athletes, coach, organization facilities, nature about, participation government.The research is qualitative study by using the method descriptive.The collection locations data was undertaken in school the national academy surabaya star who is also a place of exercise training for athletes puslatda wushu sanshou east java.The subject of study was chairman of the wushu, coach, and athletes puslatda wushu sanshou East Java.The results of data processing conducted using data analysis through interviews with the subject of study was chairman of, coach, athletes puslatda wushu sanshou east java. The conclusion of the research is guidance on a KONI East Java good, complete infrastructure facilitues, an exercise programe that has been programmed in a systematic and planned from 2013 until 2016. In addition there is also a supporting factor inhibiting factor is the lack of good stewrdship less compact in which the team of administrators athletes and coaches becomes harmonious relationship

Abstract

This study was conducted at 45 students of SMAN 1 Cerme with aged between 15-16 years old. Students were  divided into 3 groups. the type of research used quantitative with quasi-experimental approach. Instruments of this study were test of leg strength and leg power using Leg Dynamometer and  Jump MD. The research design used matching only design. Data was anlyzed using ANOVA. The results of the  research was found that training program side hop over  barrier with dumbell and hexagon with  dumbbell significantly increase at leg strength and leg power (Sig. 0.000 <α = 0.05). Group I, Group II and Group III had significant difference (Sig. 0.000 α = 0.005). Percentage increase in leg strength group 1 of 1,80% and leg  power of 15,49%. Percentage increase in leg strength group II of  1,68% and a power of 14,27% and whereas in the control group increase in leg strength was 1.67% power at 12.32%.It can be concluded that There was an increase in leg strength and leg power in each group after the training was given. In addition, there were differences among the three groups effects seen improved in leg strength and leg power through ANOVA, where the training side hop over barrier with dumbbell and hexagon with dumbell had increased in leg strength and leg   power. But side hop over barrier with dumbbell had more significant increased than hexagon with dumbbell. Key words: Side hop over with barrier dumbell,  hexagon with dumbell, leg strength and leg power.

Abstract

The development of physical condition are absolute requirement for achievement. To improve the physical condition required a training. In this research, the training in question is core stability training dynamic and medicine ball, with the aim to increase leg muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and balance. The purpose of this research was to analyze about: (1) The effect of core stability dynamic to enhancement leg muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and balance, (2) The effect of medicine ball to enhancement leg muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and balance. Goal of this research is the male students batch 2015, Study program Physical Education and Recreation Health STKIP PGRI Sumenep. This type of research used in this research is quantitative with quasi- experimental methods. This research design using randomize control group pretest-posttest design and analysis using anova. Data collection process with leg muscle strength test (leg dynamometer), abdominal muscle strength test (sit up), and balance test (stand stork test) when pretest and posttest. Next, the data were analyzed with the help SPSS 17.0. The result of research showed: (1) there are the effect core stability dynamic training to enhancement leg muscle strength by 7,55%, abdominal muscle strength by 11,82%, and balance by 13,17%, (2) there are the effect medicine ball training to enhancement leg muscle strength by 7,07%, abdominal muscle strength by 12,02%, and balance by 9,64%. Based analysis above, can be concluded that there enhancement leg muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and balance for each experimental group and the control group after being given core stability dynamic and medicine ball training seen from the t-test result. There are also differences in the effect of each workout to increase leg muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and balance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to measure the students achievement in evaluation learning outcomes ofphysical education. There are five research questions that will be analyzed: (1) how did the teacherunderstand the learning objectives?, (2) how did the teacher make the learning objectives as the targetof evaluation?, (3) how did the teachers evaluation has been linked with learning objec tives?, (4)how did the objectives which designed by the teacher has been effective to improve the studentsphysical potential?, (5) how did the learning objectives have been achieved?. This study useddescriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by using the model of evaluation CIPP(context, input, process, and product). The reasearcher did the observation in Junior high school ofdistric Jember and chose all students of class VIII which consist of 1210 students. The result of thestudy revealed that: (1) the teacher did not understand the objectives of learning physical educationyet, (2) the teacher did not make the learning objectives as a target of evaluation, (3) the teachersevaluation did not linked with learning objectives, (4) the learning objectives designed by the teacherdid not effective to improve the students potential physic, (5) the learning objectives did notachieving the students achievement. Based on the explanation above, it is concluded that vitalitycondition was 57.38% (healthy student) and 42.62% (unhealthy student).

Abstract

The purpose of Elderly Gymnastics movement is to provide movement activity in the elderly through gymnastics activities reserved specifically for the elderly. To improve the quality of life through the activity of motion is the activity of motion using a chair with low pressure (Chair Exercise). This elderly gymnastics movement as one effort to prevent dangerous diseases that often occur in elderly is Diabetes Mellitus disease. A special target is the improvement of the quality of life through a health standpoint in the elderly, so that the elderly can perform daily activities independently. Health test is done in knowing the benefits of elderly gymnastic movement by performing a simple health check on the elderly, which tests blood glucose levels by using a tool Glucometer.

Abstract

A B S T R A C TPhysical exercise causes athletes to be at risk of injury. One of the most common muscle injuries is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). DOMS is a pain felt by a person within 24-72 hours after sports activities. Active recovery is a physical activity that do in low intensity. Passive recovery means stop activity and not doing anything or total rest. This research is expected to find the type effective and efficient recovery in reducing DOMS symptoms. The type of this research is quasi experiment with the three group post-control group design. The sample is a student of Faculty of Sport Science State University of Padang which is divided into 3 groups. Each group consists of 15 students. Each Sample will perform an eccentric physical exercise by squatting 10 sets (1set: 20 steps) with a break for 30 seconds each set. After exercie group 1 didnt do recovery, group 2 did a passive recovery and group 3 did active recovery. After 48 hours, DOMS measurements were made using Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Research data is tabulated and analyzed with descriptive statistic test, distribution normality test, homogeneity test, different test. Result of data analysis concluded there is effect of active recovery to DOMS symptom with p 0,005. There is no effect of passive recovery of DOMS symptoms with p 0, 180. Conclusion active recovery research can reduce DOMS symptoms.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the influence of command teaching style and low motor ability to the results dolyo chagi kick Taekwondo students PJKR Siliwangi University Tasikmalaya City. The method used in this research is experimental method. The sampling used by the author with a simple random assignment (random assignment). The result of his research is the style of command teaching gives a significant influence for students with low ability motor to the learning result kick dolyo chagi (q0 = 4,63 <qt = 3,63). It is expected that all lecturers and teachers in providing sports learning to learners whose motion skills are low, especially learning taekwondo better using the command teaching style.

Abstract

Related to weight training with pyramid system, in this research the researcher will focus on ascending and descending pyramid system, comparison of multiple set training with pyramid model will be done with fast and slow rhythm, rhythm comparison and pyramid drill model which will be used to know the mprovementand comparison of increased strength, speed, explosive power and hypertrophy of the leg muscles. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research, using the design of "The Randomized Group Pretest-postest Design". Treatment was done for 8 weeks (two months) with exercise frequency 3 times per week. Thesample was divided into 2 groups, group 1 was given a descending pyramid training using fast rhythm, group 2 was given a descending pyramid training using a slow rhythm. It is a significant influence of the descending pyramid load system with fast and slow rhythm to strength, speed and hypertrophy of the legmuscles, but not significant in explosive power for the slow rhythm descending pyramid load.

Abstract

This research and development aim to develop the model of hand ball handling practice. This study begins with a needs analysis with survey method and then develops a hand ball handling model with characteristics in accordance with the results of needs analysis. The development of this exercise model produces a product of a hand-balled passing practice model in accordance with the needs and conformity with the handball playing pattern. The research method used is research and development method with development steps designed by Borg and Gall. Of course, the method is modified by researchers according to the needs of the study. Are 30 physical health and recreation students who have received  handmade hand-ball training subjects before. Based on the data needs analysis results obtained that 100% of students need the development of the source of this hand ball training model. Meanwhile, according to the first expert of hand-ball training model, its obtained average score of 3.55 (very good) with a percentage of 88.38%, according of second expert obtained an average score of 3.79 (very good) with a percentage of 89.44%, the lecture of hand-ball training obtained an average score of 3.75 (very good) with a percentage of 93. 75%. The results of small group testing obtained an average score of 3.25 (good) with a percentage of 81.09%, while the results of large group trials obtained an average score of 3.66 (very good) with the percentage of 86.96%
