Abstract

This research aims to find out how the development especially in terms of writing a narrative through contextual approach with media images in a series that could serve as an alternative in the learning process in schools. The form of this research is the research action class. The subject of the research is grade VII-G junior Country 9 city of Sorong of 37 students, consists of 19 men and 18 women. This research was conducted in two cycles and pengumpuan data on engineering research is engineering tests and nontes. Test techniques in the form of the description that is a fantasy story writing and techniques of nontes i.e. observation and interview. Technique of data analysis in this study includes quantitative data analysis to analyze the results obtained from a test write fantasy, while qualitative data analysis technique used to see the effectiveness of the use of the approach contextual media pictures glow and see changes in student behavior during and after the learning process.           The results of this study showed that the ability to write fantasy stories have elevated from before the implementation cycle or pratindakan. The increase occurred in every aspect, such as aspects of the structure in the pratindakan there are 26 students (70.27%) students has been completed, and at the end of the cycle reached 37 pupils (100%) has been completed. The increase also occurred on the content that was originally 4 students (10.81%), and at the end of the cycle there are 37 pupils (100%) has been completed. As well as an increase in the use of the language on the pratindakan aspects of 5 students (13.51%) to 30 students (81.08%) at the end of the cycle. Therefore, the increase also occurred on the number of students who are finished in a fantasy story writing skills, and ketuntasan in the pratindakan only achieved by 3 students (8.10%) then increased at the end of the cycle be 29 students (78.37%) completely from the 37 students who were given the test. Ketuntasan is measured from the KKM is on the school that is 75. This causes the average value of the class be increased from pratindakan phase obtained average value of 42.24 and increased to 77.70 at the end of the cycle.

Abstract

Students have different characteristics. These differences in characteristics can lead to the formation of learning groups that have similarities in learning styles. Non-graduate students such as Accounting and Health Analysts have an auditory learning style that likes lecture methods. The lecture method is not a bad method, but there is another method that can optimize reading literacy before the lecture method is used as a reinforcement of student understanding. This is necessary because literacy is the key to the formation of other types of literacy. The method that can optimize reading literacy is the Pagitukul (Pair-Sharing-Time-Punch) method which is a modification of the cooperative Learning-Shared-Pair-Share and Time-Pair-Co-op method. With the method is expected students do not expect and be empty glass that always filled by lecturers but students have a schematic of the material to be studied. After the application of the method to non-students, it is known that most students give positive response to Pagitukul method. Therefore, it can be said that Pagitukul method can be an alternative learning method that is able to optimize reading literacy in non-grammarian students.

Abstract

Ungkapan fatis merupakan konstituen yang berfungsi untuk memulai, mempertahankan, dan menghentikan komunikasi. Ungkapan fatis terdapat  pada kalimat-kalimat tidak baku yang mengandung unsur daerah. Ungkapan fatis banyak ditemukan pada tuturan siswa sekolah dasar pada saat berkomunikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, tuturan siswa kelas VI SD di kota Binjai akan menjadi sumber data dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu metode simak untuk mengumpulkan data dan metode agih untuk menganalisis data. Dari sumber data ditemukan 18 ungkapan fatis yang berbentuk partikel, kata, dan frase, yaitu: hei, sih, eh, deng, dong, kok, loh, yah, woi, lah, kan, makasih ya, mari, ah, yah, toh, ayo/yok dan selamat pagi sedangkan untuk distribusinya ada yang terdapat di awal, di tengah, ataupun di akhir kalimat deklaratif, imperatif, dan interogatif.Alwi, Hasan dkk, 1998. Abstract

Lack of school facilities, unavailability of literary laboratory, and the lack of media in teaching literature in the weakening interest in the study of literature, shortcuts taken by learners is looking for another facility (online media) to address the issues of literary study. Data search (literature) in online media is not without problems, copy and paste process dulls creativity of learners. In fact, the study of literature in schools can deliver the products literature (poetry, short stories, folklore, etc.), which can simultaneously create new writers. The development of creative industries in the fields of art, including the works of literature, to be able to force teachers and students to race in making literary works can be recorded and enjoyed by the public school

Abstract

Sastra mempunyai multiplisitas fungsi dalam masyarakat yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pembentuk stabilitas masyarakat dan memperkaya kebudayaan, melainkan juga merepresentasikan suatu penggantian sekuler, mengembangkan dan menyebarkan nilai-nilai yang bersifat alternatif bagi nilai-nilai yang sedang berlaku, dan menjadi nilai yang penting bagi kehidupan sosial. Berdasarkan pandangan ini, teks Mahabharata yang telah berabad-abad ada dan dinikmati masyarakat Jawa, dianggap memiliki keterikatan dan telah telah memengaruhi kehidupan, kebudayaan, pola pikir, bahkan berbagai bentuk nilai, termasuk di dalamnya nilai perkawinan yang dianut masyarakat Jawa. Namun dermikian, tidak semua nilai yang ada pada kisah Mahabharata dapat diterapkan dan sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman saat ini.

Abstract

Film as one of super important visual media is currently growing in Indonesia. Films will only be meaningful if it meets with the audience. Indonesia's willingness to watch the movie becomes very important. According to the survey the majority of wide screen film lovers, films adapted from literary works such as novels. This research is qualitative research in the field of literary studies and concentrate on the educational value of social psychology. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that moviegoers are more interested in the film because of adopting novel storyline that often make a good impression, especially on their personality. Literary works such as novels able to be taught and enjoyed also by the presence of the film that this requirement will be educational value. Compared with the films that did not adopt a literary work, lovers of literature are sometimes not more interested in movies with some reason considered quite rational. Differences in the way the story and imagination commercial terms was seen as reducing the spirit of a literary work's title.

Abstract

This research aims to describe about deconstruction of Cinderella tale in Intan Paramaditha?s shortstory ?Perempuan Buta tanpa Ibu Jari?. The theory used in this research is Derrida?s deconstruction by using the concept of metaphysical binary oposition to find and identify contradictions inside the text. The result of this research shows that a work can be intended more than one way based on many point of views. Same like in this research that the one who become antagonist can changed into protagonist by seeing of many chances that presented by the author.

Abstract

This study aims to prove that leaders are not always able to interfere with the personal rights of their members through the hegemony of Nyai Suku in the last generation drama by Gepeng Nugroho. To answer these problems, the Gramshi Hegemony theory is used through a sociological approach. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive form. The data source of this research is the Final Generation drama by Gepeng Nugroho. Data collection techniques are carried out by central study and note it. Data analysis was done by hermeneutic method. The results of this research show that the form of hegemony of Nyai Suku character is in the form of planting new beliefs covertly through the speeches he delivered, habituation through his teachings to communal to answer compactly with sentences that show as if they were strong people, and coercion by giving lashing to its communal members violate the rules.

Abstract

The readability text in book ?Bahasa Indonesia Wahana Pengetahuan? first revision (BIWPrp) in the Curriculum book 2013 had never been researched before reviewable from text quality and reader knowledge, besides that the text was very important in learning proceeding based on curriculum 2013. Because, the text Indonesian was model text for any subject. Therefore, it must be analyzed the level of readability text of  book. This research diversiformed quantity-quality with descriptive method. Moreover, there were research result. First, the level of readability text was easy, 88%, based on the traits of effective sentence. Second, the level of readability text was difficult, 15%, based on the early knowledge of reader about the topic text. Third, the level of readability text was suitable for 7, 8, and 9 grades. Fourth, the level of readability text was difficult, 13%, based on the vocabularies control what clouted by the languagetion knowledge of VII grade student.

Abstract

Text book is one of important instruments in successful learning. Ministry of Education and Culture published standard textbook. Readability?s textbook must compatible with student?s capability and psychology. Fry?s graph is the best readability measuring tool for textbook. Aim of this research is to descibe readability?s Indonesian textbooks of Junior and Senior High School curriculum 2013 published by Ministry of Education and Cultural 2014. The kind of this research is literature study. The data collection used documentation technique. The result of this reseach is (1) the readability of Indonesian textbook for seventh grader is not suitable for target student because 20 of 33 texts is not suitable for seventh grader student based on Fry?s graph, (2) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eighth grader is suitable for target student because 17 of 22 texts is suitable for eighth grader student based on Fry?s graph, (3) the readability of Indonesian textbook for tenth grader is not suitable for target student because 18 of 23 texts is not suitable for tenth grader student based on Fry?s graph, (4) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eleventh grader first semester is not suitable for target student because 9 of 10 texts is not suitable for eleventh grader student based on Fry?s graph, and (5) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eleventh grader second semester curriculum 2013 is not suitable for target student because 14 of 22 texts is not suitable for seventh grader student based on Fry?s graph.
