<![CDATA[In the effort of creating a joyful literary teaching, avoiding the boredom of both teachers and students, thus it needs the selection of a proper technique followed by the selection of a proper source too. Based on that statement, this article aimed to share the design of a proper technique and source which can be used in creating a joyful literary teaching. Hopefully it can stimulate the students creativity. In the beginning, this article serves the types of technique in literary teaching, especially for poetry. Then, this article also focused on the technique of poetry teaching which can be used as an effort to increase the students? creativity, that is narrating a poetry. The technique of narrating a poetry will be served by the supporting source.]]>

<![CDATA[From the perspective of sociolinguistic, people and language are tightly connected. People are changing not the language. The way people used language now and then are different, even just slightly. Words which then considered prestigious are not necessarily the same today. Then, talking about song, the lyrics which used now and then are different too. A song can be called popular if it can be accepted by many people, and then it can be mean that the language or lyric used in the popular song, as a part of the song, is well liked by many people. By using that concept, the researcher compares two languages from two different times. This research is aimed to describe the different use of conjunction between two eras. The researcher uses observation method and noting technique, and data are the conjunctions taken from the songs from two eras which later be compared. The result shows that there are differences. Generally, both eras heavily used subordinate conjunction, but different in percentage. The unique thing is that both eras almost have similar graphics when both are compared.]]>

Ami with the bravery tell her speech about Kartini in the Kartini Days in front of female regent and other ladies. Ami regard as herself and other women in Indonesia as that continues women fight like Cut Nyak Dhien and Sagung Wah. Ami hopes Indonesia women more brave to fight their right autority and brave to take their decision to improve themselves. The social character of Amy as the smart woman just look by the way to analyze and tell about the Kartini desired through Ami?s speech into the short story can express about differences between emancipation and feminism.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find laternatif way to improve society?s reading prolicity, particularly for school members, as a solution to overcome the low of reading. The reading prolicity has a great influence to the progress of the nation-state. Compare to the neighbor country, Indonesian reading prolicity is still low. It is a key to boost the progress because the capability of science and technology can be achieved through reading skills. Family, society, and educational institution have significant role in improving reading skills. It is responsible for all elements of society like librarian, teachers, parents, and society itselves. Librarian and teachers have direct responsible in improving that. To deal with that, it is good to give stimulant in gaining the reading tradition. The reading force is not effective for students. It is also unrecognized to force student to buy books.]]>

<![CDATA[Reading interest is one of the important things in understanding classroom learning. However, reading interest at this time is still a problem faced by teachers in schools. This study aims to: (1) describe the reading interest of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman students, (2) describe the learning outcomes to understand the description text of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman students, and (3) describe the relationship between reading interest and learning outcomes discussion of class IX students of SMP N 1 Pariaman. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the description method. Interest in reading and learning outcomes are described in several points. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between reading interest and learning outcomes understanding the discussion text of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman.]]>

<![CDATA[Sentence textbook training manual contains commands that must be understood and carried out as desired student authors.It aims to train students evaluatetheir learning results. Grammatical form changes in the text aims to enable students more easily to reveal a meaning of an instructions contained in a textbook training.Better to understand a changes in grammatically forms, are presented in a textbook process Indonesiangrammatically. In agrammatically process, there will be changes due to become different in meaning,grammatically composition form and structure of a sentence. A meaning can be a new or meaning still retain an old meaning which still survive.A new meaning appear when experiencing a reduction in a sentence element or elements added point. Changes in a core elements as a result of a sentence to change a reader mindset, in predicting a primary purpose of giving guidance n at t on his practice.Meaning that unchanged is a core element of a sentence that remain despite has develop a grammaticallyprocess, so intent submitted n to t remains a same and unchanged. <![CDATA[Penggunaan bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi menjadi fenomena menarik dalam masyarakat tutur bahasa Indonesia. Hal itu karena proses komunikasi dalam masyarakat tidak hanya berlangsung dalam satu bahasa melainkan lebih dari satu bahasa dan menyebabkan bahasa-bahasa tersebut dalam keadaan saling mempengaruhi. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kontak antar bahasa. terjadinya kontak bahasa sering kali menghasilkan campur kode. Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena campur kode dalam acara My Trip My Adventure. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu segmen tutur pembawa acara dan jawaban yang terdapat dalam angket pembawa acara serta angket penonton acara My Trip My Adventure. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat bentuk campur kode yang berupa kata dan frasa. Kata dan frasa yang teridentifikasi campur kode tersebut berasal dari bahasa Inggris, bahasa Minang, bahasa Mandarin, dan bahasa Sunda. Campur kode yang terdapat pada acara My Trip My Adventure sebagian memiliki padanan dan tidak memiliki padanan. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya campur kode tersebut diantaranya penguasaan bahasa, kepopuleran bahasa, penyesuaian lawan bicara, dan keterbatasan ungkapan. Campur kode tersebut juga menimbulkan persepsi pro dan kontra yang dirasakan oleh penonton acara My Trip My Adventure.]]>

<![CDATA[The writing lesson is actually very important given to the students to practice using the language actively. Our school in general is rather ignorant of writing lessons. The theoretical test material can lead to the motivation of the language teacher to teach the composing material only to be able to answer the exam questions, while the skill aspect is ignored. In addition to the above matters, it is assumed that some teachers who consider the authoring assignment given to the student are too burdensome or the task is too much for the student, so he feels sorry for the heavy burden to his students. Based on the above explanation, the researcher would like to try to do research with the title "Increase Learning Achievement of Indonesian Language Writing with Guided Learning Methods on Grade VII Students of Junior High School Saint Yosef Surbaya".]]>

<![CDATA[The article examines Dinullah Rayes's poem "Pohon Peradaban" taken from the anthology of his poem entitled Bulan di Pucuk Embun (2011). The poem is one of Dinullah Rayes's poems which uses many natural symbols, such as trees, roots, moon, sun, leaves, flowers, maggots and so on. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and uses the semiotic theory proposed by Riffaterre, that is by doing heuristic reading, hermeneutic or retroactive reading and determining the matrix of the poem. The results of the study show that we must keep this friendly culture belonging to our nation so that it does not disappear. We must also maintain character and friendship in order to stay alive in peace. ]]>
