Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca wacana berhuruf Jawa pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Pulosari Kabupaten Pemalang. Alternatif pemecahan masalah yang diterapkan adalah dengan menggunakan permainan Arjuna Ngulandara dalam pembelajaran membaca wacana berhuruf Jawa. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan membaca wacana berhuruf Jawa siswa. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya keterampilan membaca wacana berhuruf Jawa siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 3 Pulosari Kabupeten Pemalang setelah menggunakan permainan Arjuna Ngulandara dalam pembelajaran. Disamping peningkatan keterampilan siswa, siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dalam sikap kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. This activity is carried out for the purpose of improving reading skills in Java lettered discourse grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pulosari VIIIA Pemalang. Alternative solutions are implemented is to use games in learning reading Arjuna Ngulandara Java lettered discourse. The method is to do action research to determine the increase reading skills of students Java lettered discourse. The conclusion of this activity is to increase reading skills lettered discourse Java class students of SMP Negeri 3 Pulosari VIIIA Kabupeten Pemalang after using games in learning Ngulandara Arjuna. Besides improving the skills of students, the students also experienced an increase in the cognitive attitude, affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

Siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batangan yang telah belajar bahasa Jawa bertahun-tahun kurang mampu menggunakan bahasa Jawa yang santun. Siswa merasa kesulitan berkomunikasi lisan dengan menggunakan bahasa Jawa karena siswa belum paham kaidah penerapan unggah-ungguh basa. Oleh karena masih rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi lisan, untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa ketika berbicara yaitu dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran generatif berbasis konteks. Karena strategi pembelajaran generatif menekankan pada pengintegrasian secara aktif pengetahuan baru dengan menggunakan pengetahuan yang sudah dimiliki siswa sebelumnya.Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel eksperimen dan variabel kontrol. Bentuk instrumen penelitian terdiri dari instrumen tes (berbicara dan mendengarkan) dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Perolehan nilai dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelas pada kemampuan berbicara dan mendengarkan kelas eksperimen sudah melebihi KKM, sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak lulus KKM pada keterampilan berbicara. (2) Berdasarkan hasil uji beda pada keterampilan berbicara, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada keterampilan berbicara dan mendengarkan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. (3) Perilaku siswa pada kelas eksperimen 84% berperilaku positif saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Pada kelas kontrol 46% siswa yang berperilaku positif saat pembelajaran berlangsung. SMPN1 Batangan grade students who have learned the language bars Java many years are less able to use the Java language decent. Students find it difficult to communicate verbally using the Java language because students do not understand the rules of the application upload - ungguh bases. Because of the low oral communication skills , to overcome the difficulties of students when speaking by using context -based generative learning strategies . Because generative learning strategy emphasizes the integration of new knowledge by actively using prior knowledge before students .The study was designed using experimental research methods . The research was conducted at the eighth grade students . Variables consisted of the experimental variables and control variables . Forms of research instruments consisted of test instruments ( speaking and listening ) and observation . The data analysis technique used is the technique of quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis .Results showed ( 1 ) Acquisition value seen from the average grade on the ability to speak and listen to the experimental class had exceeded KKM , while the control class did not pass KKM on speaking skills . ( 2 ) Based on the results of the different test speaking skills , there are significant differences in the skills of speaking and listening between the experimental class and the control class . ( 3 ) Behavior of students in the experimental class 84 % positive attitude when learning takes place. In the control class 46 % of students who behave when learning takes place.

Abstract

The Javanese-speaking comics containing paribasan (proverb) in Kebumen regency is minimum. Whereas, this kind of comics is needed by students. Therefore, this article discusses about what students need from Javanese-speaking comics, how prototype of Javanese-speaking comics are formed, and how Javanese-speaking comics are legalized. The purpose of this research are to comprehend students need toward Javanese-speaking comics, arrange the prototype of Javanese-speaking comics, and describe the result of prototype of Javanese-speaking comics legalizing. The method used in this article is research and development. The technique is descriptive analysis obtaining Javanese-speaking comics containing paribasan in Kebumen accordance with students and teacher’s needs. This comic contains of pictured story with paribasan inside. After comics are created, they will be tested. Then, they will be revised accordance with the suggestion from expert. The revision is reviewed from: (1) content, (2) delivering, (3) linguistics.

Abstract

One of the problems in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum for learning javanese is the lack of teacher’s understanding about the curriculum so that effects on the preparation lesson plan and learning implementation. This research aimed to describe the suitability of the learning with teacher’s lesson plan in junior high school pemalang district of pulosari. The result of the research are lesson plan javanese teachers is in conformity with Permendikbud number 65 of 2013, but on the basis of verbal messages delivery competence indicator, there is no indicators that make basic competence is achieved so that the learning objectivies have been achieved. Implementation of learning components that are in accordance with lesson plan is materials, methods, assessment, approaches. There is a mismatch between lesson plan and implementation of the javanese learning is on time allocation component, approaches, methods, media, materials, step of learning in core activitis and assessment.

Abstract

This research was based on the lack of the enrichment books containing Javanese language dialogues in accordance with the unggah-ungguh in Semarang regency. Therefore, this study developed the enrichment books of dialogue in family environment based on unggah-ungguh to support the studying and writing dialogue text. This study used research and development design. The research data was the data of teacher’s and student’s needs, expert validation, and product trials. The result of this study was the enrichment book containing collection of dialogues in the family environment based on unggah-ungguh with the title “Tepa Palupi”. The book had improved after being validated by expert lecturers and users. Experimental result showed that the enrichment book of dialogue in family environment based on unggah-ungguh can improve student achievement. The test results on the examining dialogue text competence increased 7,4%, where as the writing dialogue text competence increased 17.2%. The improvement was followed by an attitude of students to be more active, enthusiastic, and very interested in reading the enrichment books used in the learning. Abstract

Skill of writing news using Javanese language becomes complex and compplicated material to understand for student, because the writer have to observe about the best rule of Javanese writing. Moreover, in fact shows that the students have to scrutinize teacher or student’s voice in reading a news, afterwards students should rewrite the news based on their own style. This technique makes the students ability to write news using Javanese language is low. 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) technique using broadcast Pro 4 RRI Semarang as a media use in this research aims to make the students of Javanese class becomes more active and enthusiastic, so news writing study is better. The main purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) technique using broadcast Pro 4 RRI semarang media. This research use true experimental design with post-test-only control design. There are 381 students of X SMA N 1 bergas as the population of this research, 36 students from X IIS 4 class (experimental class) and 36 students from X IIS 5 class (control class) as the sample of this research. Test and nontest (observation and interview) instrument is applied in this research. Data collection techniques of this research are test, observation and interview. The collective data will be analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative data, homogeneity test, and t-test using SPSS program. The result of this research shows the effectivity of 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) technique using broadcast pro 4 RRI semarang media with the evidence of significant differences between control group and experimental group, the average score of control group is 75,28 whereas 84,50 for the experimental group, with significance ,000. The differences capacity of question shows thitung= 12,131 and sig. (2-tailed) about ,000, because the differnces capacity of question significance level is lower than 0,05, it conclude that there is significance differences between control group and experimental group in writing news using Javanese language. The effectiveness of this technique shows with the difference attitute between experimental and control group in the class. Students in experimental group are more active and enthusiasm, whereas the control group students are passive. ABSTRAK Keterampilan menulis berita berbahasa Jawa menjadi sebuah pembelajaran yang kompleks dan tidak mudah dikuasai siswa, dikarenakan perlu memperhatikan kaidah penulisan bahasa Jawa yang benar. Selain itu, kenyataannya siswa hanya menyimak pembacaan berita oleh guru atau siswa lain, kemudian siswa diberi penugasan menulis berita. Dengan demikian, kemampuan menulis berita berbahasa Jawa siswa menjadi kurang baik. Teknik 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) berbantuan media siaran Pro 4 RRI Semarang digunakan dalam penelitian ini agar dalam pembelajaran siswa lebih aktif dan antusias, sehingga hasil pembelajaran menulis berita berbahasa Jawa menjadi lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan teknik 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) berbantuan media siaran Pro 4 RRI Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain true experimental design dengan menggunakan bentuk posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bergas yang berjumlah 381 siswa, dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 36 siswa dari kelas X IIS 4 (kelas eksperimen) dan 36 siswa dari kelas X IIS 5 (kelas kontrol). Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan nontes. observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan deskripsi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, uji prasyarat analisis (uji homogenitas), dan uji hipotesis (uji-t) dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keefektifan teknik 3N (Nyemak, Ngrembag, Nyerat) berbantuan media siaran Pro 4 RRI Semarang yang dibuktikan dengan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, yaitu kelas kontrol nilai rata-ratanya adalah 75,28 sedangkan kelas eksperimen adalah 84,50, dengan signifikasi ,000. Hasil uji beda diperoleh thitung = 12,131 dan sig. (2-tailed) sebesar ,000, karena tingkat signifikasi uji beda kurang dari 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar pembelajaran menulis berita berbahasa Jawa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Keefektifan teknik ini diperkuat dengan perilaku siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih aktif dan antusias, sedangkan siswa kelas kontrol cenderung pasif. Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the differences of learning writing of geguritan using picture media and narrative text media for students of classes IX SMP 2 Kudus from attitude aspect, knowledge aspect, and skill aspect. This study produced a description of the difference between picture media and narrative text media for learning writing geguritan of classes IX SMP 2 Kudus by observation, questionnaire, interview, and test which result that writing of geguritan using picture media and narrative text media from attitude aspect, knowledge aspect, and skill aspect have different and similarities. Learning of writing geguritan using picture media and narrative text media have their own strength. Both media have advantages and disadvantages of each so that each effective medium is used for learning to write geguritan with different circumstances. Abstract

Reading Javanese letter is one of the basic competencies that must be mastered by students. The investigation shows that the students have not read the Javanese letter yet because they do not means to practice. The story book is the alternative media to attract students reading interest. The content of the story raised the theme of Magelang local wisdom supported with picture of illustrations. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) method. Data collection were collected by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The result shows that (1) both the teacher and student need the Javanese story book to improve their reading skill, (2) the book was compiled based on the result of the analysis of the teacher and students’ need (3) the validation result of the material expert scored 66, 2% and validation of media experts scored 73.3% categorized deserves to be tested on students. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan siswa tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (2) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan guru tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (3) menyusun desain prototip media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong Jawa tradisi tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (4) mendeskripsikan validasi media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Research and Delelopment (R&D). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan guru dan siswa membutuhkan media media audio visual bercerita bahasa jawa seperti cerita yang berasal dari daerah Brebes. Hasil prototipe media VCD bercerita adat istiadat Tabuk Centong berdurasi 08 menit 35 detik yang terdiri dari: (1) Pembukaan media, (2) Isi meia, (3) Penutup. Hasil uji ahli diperolah presentase 75,24% yang masuk kategori baik dengan beberapa revisi. Hasil penilaian guru terhadap prototipe media diperoleh presentase86,67% yang tergolong kategori baik. Kata kunci :audio visual, cerita jawa, tradisi tabuk centong. (3) Discovering design prototype media of audio visual in tells Java language through Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan. (4) Producing prototype media audio visual in tells Java language through Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan. The design of this research uses research approachment of Research and Development (R&D). The technique of analysing data uses descriptive qualitative analysis.The analysis result shows teachers and students need media of audio visual in tells java language such as story of Brebes. The prototype result media VCD in tells Java Language Tabuk Centong tradition have duration 08 minutes 28 seconds that consists of: (1) opening of media, (2) content of media, (3) closing. The result of the expert test obtained percentage 75.24% that is involved as good category with several revision. The result of teacher assessment to prototype media obtained percentage 86.67% that is involved as good category. Keyword:audio visual, java story, tabuk centong tradition.

Abstract

Students of Grade III of Elementary school began to be taught Javanese script. The student has some problems when studying Javanese script that is difficult to distinguish and the use of media of learning of Javanese script is limited. Based on these problems found the idea of developing the media of Pansus Raja for the learning of third-grade students of Elementary School in Semarang regency. The problems in this research are: (1) how the needs of teachers and students of the third grade of Elementary school in Semarang regency to Pansus Raja, (2) how to develop the media of Pansus Raja, and (3) how to validate expert lecturers. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD) using a data analysis technique that is descriptive qualitative technique. After Pansus Raja was created, then tested to the expert lecturers. The revitalized Pansus Raja tried out to Elementary School. The result of the trial is the media Pansus Raja proved to increase students' understanding of Javanese script.
