Abstract

The purpose of conducting this activity is Community Service Program (PKM) . With Title: "Improving Knowledge of Household Financial Management and Investment for PKK Mothers at the Office of Kelurahan Kamal, West Jakarta." The general objective of this community service activity is to train PKK mothers in Kelurahan Kamal to enhance their knowledge of the importance of managing finances more effectively. Additionally, another goal is to instill understanding gradually to avoid dependence on lending institutions. The project also aims to make mothers more productive, not solely relying on their husbands' salaries but also assisting their husbands in various ways such as staying up late or selling goods needed by friends or neighbors. The methods applied in this project involve lectures and discussions on financial management, including planning through recording every need and expenditure. Participants are also provided with basic knowledge of investments, including gold savings, savings/deposits, and other investment options. The conclusion of this community service activity is that housewives increasingly realize the importance of managing finances and making sound investment choices, saving, and possessing skills in prioritizing needs.

Abstract

In 2023, the number of blind people with disabilities in Indonesia reached 1.5 percent of the total population of Indonesia, which is about 4 million people. Social media newsletters can be used as fundraising media and information media for activities or programs conducted by the Foundation for Blind People. This charitable activity aims to support and empower blind people, especially those who are in poor, orphaned or neglected circumstances. The collaboration between the charitable team and the foundation has resulted in a social media newsletter that is not only visually appealing but also informative. It is important to maintain the sustainability of this activity, especially in digital form, to ensure that the latest information can be quickly accessed by the wider community.

Abstract

The goal of sales budget support is to help companies or organisations create, implement, and oversee their own sales budget. The amount left over from the purchase price after products or services are sold for a predetermined period of time is known as the selling price. Analysing past data, answering client questions, determining target markets, and creating winning marketing campaigns are all steps in the process of creating a sales budget. The purpose of this step is to assist employees of SMEs in lowering sales pressure in the context of money management and business growth. This activity is intended to disseminate information about the advantages of lowering the purchase price, how fair competition can assist SMEs in reaching their financial objectives, and how this process can be maximised.  This activity is anticipated to offer insights into the advantages of sales budget support, how SMEs may attain their financial objectives with the appropriate strategy, and how this process can be improved for increased efficacy. By offering advice on how businesses should plan and manage their sales budgets, this activity can also add to the body of knowledge on financial management and business planning. Over time, support from sales budgets can play a significant role in a company's ability to succeed and expand sustainably.

Abstract

Wabah Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang muncul di Wuhan, China pada akhir 2019 telah menjadi pandemi internasional yang memicu respons global. Pemerintah Indonesia merespons dengan Keputusan Presiden nomor 11 tahun 2020, menetapkan keadaan darurat kesehatan masyarakat. Artikel ini mengulas dampak penyebaran COVID-19 terhadap sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi, dengan fokus pada langkah-langkah pemerintah, seperti kebijakan new normal. Protokol kesehatan 5M, mencuci tangan, memakai masker, menjaga jarak, menjauhi kerumunan, dan mengurangi mobilitas, menjadi dasar pencegahan yang disosialisasikan. Sebagai respons, Institut Transportasi dan Logistik (ITL) Trisakti melakukan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan kesadaran pengunjung bandara akan penerapan protokol kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan PkM melibatkan sosialisasi langsung dan kunjungan industri dengan manajemen Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta pada Maret 2022. Penerapan protokol kesehatan di Bandara Yogyakarta menjadi fokus, dengan melibatkan tim PkM dan mahasiswa ITL Trisakti. Pandemi COVID-19 telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada perilaku masyarakat dan perjalanan. Penyuluhan dan edukasi terus menjadi kunci dalam menghadapi tantangan new normal. Artikel ini juga mencakup rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan sosialisasi protokol kesehatan dan mendukung program vaksinasi. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan PkM ITL Trisakti di Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta merupakan upaya nyata dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan penerapan protokol kesehatan COVID-19 di ruang publik. Disarankan untuk terus menggelar kegiatan serupa sebagai bagian dari budaya baru dalam menghadapi era new normal.

Abstract

Desa Walando, Kecamatan Gu, Kabupaten Buton Tengah merupakan salah satu desa yang berupaya untuk mengembangkan potensinya sehingga ada pemasukan bagi pemerintah desa melalui BUMDes. Potensi Desa Walando yang dikembangkan adalah berupa wisata kolam renang. Banyaknya usaha bisnis yang dilakukan oleh BUMDes Desa Walando maka diperlukan strategi pemasaran untuk menarik para wisatawan untuk mau berkunjung ke wisata kolam renang desa Walando. Tujuan pendampingan ini adalah agar Masyarakat desa Walando khususnya pengurus BUMDes desa Walando lebih memahami strategi promosi pemasaran wisata. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan melalui metode pelatihan dan juga pendampingan yang diikuti oleh para pengelola wisata, pengurus BUMdes dan perangkat Desa Walando. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah bertambahnya tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman pengurus BUMDes dan masyarakat tentang strategi promosi pemasaran wisata kolam renang dalam meningkatkan potensi daerah

Abstract

Penggunaan media akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil akhir sebuah pembelajaran. Kegiatan pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manfaat media audio visual pada pembelajaran bahasa inggris serta untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan media audio visual. Hal ini disesuaikan dengan permasalahan yang ada pada mitra yakni tidak adanya media yang dapat membantu anak-anak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mereka. Adapun kegiatan abdimas ini dilaksanakan di desa Kauman, Wonorejo, Pasuruan sebagai mitra yang digandeng oleh peneliti. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pihak mitra bisa mengembangkan kemampuan putra-putri mereka dalam bidang bahasa Inggris   sehingga mampu membantu meningkatkan soft skill mereka.

Abstract

Usaha kecil dan industri rumah tangga belakangan ini memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat khususnya mendukung pendapatan rumah tangga. Usaha rumahan produk olahan tepung “akar kelapa saat ini sulit didapatkan karena diproduksi terutama pada saat Hari Raya. Pelatihan strategi pemasaran bertujuan melestarikan produk lokal dan meningkatkan pemahaman akan pentingnya strategi pemasaran dalam usaha. Pengabdian ini bertujuan edukasi tentang strategi pemasaran untuk menjaga produk lokal dan mendukung ekonomi, terutama industri rumahan.Kegiatan ini melibatkan Ibu-Ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Marga Mulya RT 005/ RW 01 Kota Bekasi dengan metode ceramah dan praktek. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membuat produk olahan tepung “akar kelapa melalui strategi pemasaran dan kemasan modern, menjaga keunggulan produk daerah serta meningkatkan daya saing.

Abstract

The Jember Regency Main Garbage Bank has the role of fostering and coordinating the Unit Garbage Bank in the Jember Regency area. BSI had several problems in terms of how to sort polymer waste and the need for technological tools for processing plastic polymer waste. The purpose of the PKM activity is to convey knowledge, information and technology for processing plastic polymer waste. The socialization that has been delivered is related to thermoplastic and thermoset polymer waste processing technology based on physical, chemical, technological and mechanical properties, as well as management and marketing strategy for waste bank products. After interviews with BSI and BSU management, discussions with participants, mentoring, and evaluation with partners; The PKM team presented that a Garbage Bank in the city of Jember really needs a plastic polymer waste counting tool to realize the Zero Waste program, increase economic value, usability and aesthetic value. Processing of plastic polymer waste has several methods, namely; recycling plastic waste into handicraft products, turning plastic waste into pellets, processing plastic waste into; fuel oil, brick mixture, and asphalt, recycling process, namely; Hydrogenation, Glycolysis, Methanolysis, Hydrolysis, Gasification, Pyrolysis and Catalytic Conversion, Recycling methods, namely (primary, secondary, tertiary and quarter) recycling.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the entrepreneurial interest of Muhammadiyah Youth members in Batu Belah Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency, by utilizing community waste, namely used cooking oil which is disposed of in the surrounding environment. The method used is to provide training in processing used cooking oil into aromatherapy candles. From the training provided, it is hoped that it will create a new entrepreneur in the partner environment so that it can increase the income of its members.

Abstract

The presence of Borobudur as one of the five Super Priority Areas (DSP) Tourism development needs to be carried out by participating in developing the surrounding area: first, so that the duration of tourist visits in Borobudur can be longer because there are other geographically integrated magnets that can be visited, and secondly so that it is sustainable If a tourist destination can maintain its presence, the community around the location of the Borobudur Temple destination must benefit from the existence of that destination. The existing Borobudur Temple is surrounded by a number of villages which support it, so the Directorate of Regional Tourism Destination Development I of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy then agreed that 3 villages around Borobudur Temple should be prioritized for developing tourist villages, namely Karanganyar Tourism Village, Karangrejo Tourism Village and Borobudur Village. Borobudur Village itself has responded to this business opportunity with plans to develop the unique potential in each hamlet through the Thematic Village Program, and of the 21 new hamlets, 6 hamlets have started to discover potential and develop it, 15 other hamlets are still in the process of exploring potential. The Tidar Magelang University Community Service Team responded to this situation and provided education about the need to develop a tourist village based on the unique potential that exists in the village. The uniqueness of the product/service must differentiate it from products from other tourist villages and be in line with what tourists expect. This understanding is useful for the management of a tourist village so that they can focus on its development and have an optimal impact on improving the welfare of the surrounding community.
