Abstract

Education Personnel (Tendik) in higher education have an important role because they are tasked with carrying out administration, management, development, supervision, and technical services to support the education process in the education unit. The Tendik staff consists of administrative staff, library staff and laboratory staff. The success of Tendik in carrying out his work load can be seen from the criteria of attendance, job responsibilities, cooperation, loyalty, archiving and service. Furthermore, to be able to evaluate, motivate, and to be able to do promotion of tendik, it is necessary to make an effort in the form of selection of the best tendik, which so far has not been done in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (FT UMJ). Recommendations for the selection of the best tendons made in this study using the Weighted Product method based on criteria established by the Quality Assurance Unit of FT UMJ. The results showed that the best selection of tendons was obtained from t e largest vector values in V3, V7, V9, V15, and V16, so that alternatives A3, A7, A9, A15, and A16 were the alternatives chosen as the best Tendik in FT UMJ. These results can be a recommendation for the leadership of FT UMJ to provide appreciation and promotion of the best Tendik as well as to evaluate, motivate and provide training for unskilled Tendik.

Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology on 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional virtual objects that are combined into the real environment that is around us. With the ability of Augmented Reality that is able to change the atmosphere of children’s learning that can be used as a medium of learning in the introduction of mammals for kindergarten children. This AR can provide interesting facilities such as displaying 3-dimensional objects of these mammals along with animal sounds and animations using Smartphones, so that children can interact and be more creative in recognizing these mammals, because children experience their golden age at the age of 4 to 7 years which is a time when children begin to receive stimuli, so that children will be faster to receive and catch on learning from the introduction of these mammals by using Augmented Reality Technology. The results of testing on the Vuforia plugin and making the AR application on Unity can provide a good information result, where the use of AR can bring up mammalian objects by pointing the Smartphone at the marker, so that all mammals can be recognized properly. This shows that children’s interest around 85% in terms of UI/UX appearance, and 70% of children have no problems in running the Mammal Animal AR application

Abstract

The rapid development of information has made online news increasingly needed. Online news attracts readers' attention by providing convenience and speed in presenting news from various fields. However, the large amount (volume) of online news that spreads in a short time (velocity) and the public's need to consume news in various references (variety) can affect people's lives. Therefore, the government as the regulator and news agencies need to monitor online news circulating. Based on these problems, the researcher proposes a data lake architectural design that is suitable for online news and can run in real-time. Data lakes can solve the main problems of Big Data (volume, velocity, variety). In proposing this data lake architecture, the researcher conducted a literature study and analyzed the flow of the data lake architecture according to online news. Furthermore, the researcher will use this architecture to combine and uniform the online news data structure from several online news channels and then stream it in real-time to fill the data lake. The results of using the data lake architecture for online news will be stored on MongoDB which functions as a database to store all data for both the short and long term. Finally, this data lake will be a means to accommodate, dive into, and analyze the circulating online news data. Keywords – Data Lake, Online News, Real-Time

Abstract

Normally, most of the bank's wealth is obtained from providing credit loans so that a marketing bank must be able to reduce the risk of non-performing credit loans. The risk of providing loans can be minimized by studying patterns from existing lending data. One technique that can be used to solve this problem is to use data mining techniques. Data mining makes it possible to find hidden information from large data sets by way of classification. The Random Forest (RF) algorithm is a classification algorithm that can be used to deal with data imbalancing problems. The purpose of this study is to discuss the use of the RF algorithm for classification of South German Credit data. This research is needed because currently there is no previous research that applies the RF algorithm to classify South German Credit data specifically. Based on the tests that have been done, the optimal performance of the classification algorithm RF on South German Credit data is the comparison of training data of 85% and testing data of 15% with an accuracy of 78.33%.

Abstract

The performance of the organizations or companiesare based on the qualities possessed by their employee. Both of good or bad employee performance will have an impact on productivity and the impact of profits obtained by the company. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a machine learning method based on statistical learning theory and can solve high non-linearity, regression, etc. In machine learning, the optimization model is a part for improving the accuracy of the model for data learning. Several techniques are used, one of which is feature selection, namely reducing data dimensions so that it can reduce computation in data modeling. This study aims to apply the method of machine learning to the employee data of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) company. The method used is SVM method by increasing the accuracy of learning data by using a feature selection technique using a wrapper algorithm. From the results of the classification test, the average accuracy obtained is 72 percent with a precision value of 71 and the recall value is rounded off to 72 percent, with a combination of SVM and cross-validation. Data obtained from Kaggle data, which consists of training data and testing data. each consisting of 30 columns and 22005 rows in the training data and testing data consisting of 29 col-umns and 6000 rows. The results of this study get a classification score of 82 percent. The precision value obtained is rounded off to 82 percent, a recall of 86 percent and an f1-score of 81 percent.

Abstract

Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPN Veteran Jakarta) is one of the public universities which views student associations to play an important role in student self-development. Student’s self-development can be realized if students participate in every activity. but a lot of problems that occur because the process related to student association is still done manually without using an information system, where students have to come to campus to take care of all the needs to hold an activity. So that we need a system that aims to improve services to student associations as well as facilitate the management of existing student associations data and can increase the credibility of UPN Veteran Jakarta itself. It is called SIWA. It is expected to minimize errors that occur and manage business processes that exist in each student association. So that the benefits generated later, it is hoped that information on Real Estimate of Cost, submission of activity proposals, accountability reports and annual reports can be managed properly. Besides that, it can also support a paperless culture in the college environment. This information system will be built based on a web-based system and its development will use the waterfall method.

Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology number: 41/Per/Men/Kominfo/11/2007, to achieve good governance Diskominfo Jabar need to implement good governance and management of information technology (IT) practices in order to integrate organizational management to ensure that information technology is optimally utilized. But its implementation, IT governance of corporate has not been optimally applied. It is known from the results of enabler assessment done in this study. The focus of this research is the APO (Align, Plan, and Organize) domain COBIT 5 framework, so the assessment of the 7 enablers done is to know the current condition of IT governance in the APO process. The process of APO domains is also prioritized through 3 approaches: regulatory compliance, strategic alignment and risk approach based on COBIT 5 so it generates APO02 manage strategy, APO05 manage Portfolio, APO07 manage human resource, APO12 manage risk and APO13 manage security. The result of the assessment of the 7 enablers will show the gap with ideal conditions in COBIT 5 in order to implement good governance. Thus, this research will result in the recommendation of 7 enablers grouped into people, process and technology to address the previously identified gaps, in order to achieve the targeted conditions of IT governance Diskominfo Jabar on priority APO domains based on COBIT 5.

Abstract

In the present era, it is easy to fin information, but not all information obtained is valid information. Many tourists want to know about a place to visit. In addition, due to lack of promotion by the government, so many tourist attractions that have the potential to increase icnomes many people doesn’t know about the location of tourism. Bogor is the largest area attract tourists, especially local tourists. But many tourist attractions in the area of Bogor that has not been sought by the tourists. Researchers assume that it takes an applications that provide accurate information to increase tourist in Bogor, to reduce the shortage and make it easier for tourists to know information about the sights to be visited, researchers try to find a solution. "Tourist Application in Bogor Region" is used to provide information for local and foreign tourists. This becomes an opportunity for the Bogor regional government to improve services and facilities in the city, so that tourists can feel comfortable coming to visit in the city of Bogor.

Abstract

At this time, in the era of technological development and information that incresingly very fast, introduced smart device systems that can help any stuff and conditions of human work, this technology is known as IoT or the abbreviation of Internet of Things Technology. With the existence of IoT systems, every devices connected to microcontroller, and we can communicate to domonitoring stuff and work more easier anytime, anywhere, and with variety of gadgets that we have. However, it must be supported by the existence of a stable supporting internet access. The HTTP protocol is used to connect communication networks and data traffic between devices on IoT has laxity with effectiveness, supports faster data transmission capabilities, resources intensive used, complicated message formats, large data sizes, and the process of checking traffic for each data consume a lot of time. This exactly affects for the performance of related systems. Referring to these constraints, this paper will discuss the comparison betw en HTTP and MQTT protocols in terms of protocol models, speed of data transmission, size of messages sent, and optimal use for each protocol. Implementation of this system test also involves the implementation of RabbitMQ as a Message Broker between the sender / publisher (smart phone) and the receiver / subscriber (IoT device) which is tasked with storing temporary data before being distributed to the receiver. Not only that, RabbitMQ also has a role to handle if the internet connection is unstable or temporarily dead, the server can store data temporarily on RabbitMQ and will return the data to the IoT device if the internet connection is more stable. This such a system mechanism can certainly be a solution for us to against the problem of data loss due to unstable internet connections. Users/ clients are no longer afraid that data will be lost because all data will be accommodated in RabbitMQ stored place, not influenced by the stability of the internet network connection. In this case, RabbitMQ must be in container environment, for that we also need a docker when installing a broker which is useful as a media containerize. With the docker container, installing RabbitMQ becomes so easy because the installation is not really done from the beginning (as we knew that potentially quite complicated), but we will only install containers that have been filled by RabbitMQ.

Abstract

The after sales maintenance support report information system prototype is an application prototype developed to be able to help the support team report their technical work activities while doing after sales maintenance support. The faster the reporting provided by the support team to the project admin, will make it easier for a project manager to analyze the status or condition of the project being handled, so that the project manager can make project status reports for company managerial needs and reports to customers. This study uses elicitation methods in analyzing user needs and using UML in the system design process. The system development process used in this study is a prototype model for then the resulting system is tested using the black box testing method. The programming language used is PHP and uses MySql as a database. The Prototype after sales maintenance support report information system created in this research has been tested on one of the projects owned by PT MTI Tiga and according to the user has been able to simplify the reporting process of after sales maintenance support activities carried out by the support team.
