Abstract

This study examines the effect of effleurage back massage therapy on the intensity of acute pain after long bone fracture surgery. This research method is true experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed a significant difference between the NSAID and NSAID groups with effleurage with a p-value <0.05. The range of changes in VAS in the NSAID group with effleurage tended to be higher than in the NSAID group on days 3 and 4. The conclusion is that NSAIDs with effleurage are effective in reducing the intensity of acute pain in patients after long bone fracture surgery and are recommended as a nursing intervention. Independently to ease the pain intensity of fracture patients. Keywords: Effleurage, Fracture, Pain

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions on the acceptance of the use of electronic medical records at Hospital X. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional approach with the data analysis used in this research is the Simple Linear Regression & Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test. Based on the results of the analysis of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions, the influence on acceptance of the use of electronic medical records is moderated by gender and age. The social influence variable has no effect on acceptance of the use of electronic medical records with moderation by gender and age. From this research, it can be concluded that what influences officers in using electronic medical records is performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions. RS So that new users can easily understand how the system works. Keywords: Electronic Medical Records. Effort Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions Performance Expectancy, Social Influence

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective intervention to improve self-acceptance of TB patients who experience stigma and discrimination using the Health Belief Model-Based Social Support approach. Web of Science, ProQuest and Pubmed databases were used to search for keywords derived from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) system for relevant articles in the preparation of this systematic. The results showed the initial literature search yielded 74 articles (48 Web Of Science, 7 from Proquest and 19 from Pubmed). After reviewing the abstracts for relevance and matching the inclusion criteria, 21 articles were selected for full-text review. Finally, 16 articles were selected for review and the results of the 16 articles analyzed showed that social support with the Health Belief Model can help reduce stigma and discrimination in TB patients. The conclusion of this study is that the results of the systematic review provide evidence for policy makers to consider alternative interventions using this method to fight stigma and discrimination so that the treatment process of TB patients becomes faster. Abstract

This research aims to identify the relationship between disaster knowledge and skills of Indonesian Adventist University students and family preparedness for facing disasters. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research with a survey method which will describe the relationship between knowledge and skills of Indonesian Adventist University students as many as 187 respondents. The results of this study show that in general, the subjects have a moderate to high level of knowledge. This is different from the subject's skill level which, when compared with disaster knowledge, is found to be at a lower level. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between disaster knowledge and family preparedness as well as between students' disaster skills and family preparedness in facing disasters that can occur at any time. Abstract

This study aims to determine low salt diet education and fluid restriction on self-efficacy in controlling fluid salt intake and motivation to recover in haemodialysis patients. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental research. This quasi-experimental uses a Non Equivalent Control Group design or often called Non Randomised Control Group Pretest And Posttest Design. The results showed that based on the results of the Dependent T Test there was a difference in Self Efficacy before and after education in the intervention group with a p-value of 0.001 <0.05 with a t value of 4.661 there was a difference in motivation to recover before and after education in the intervention group with a p-value of 0.001 <0.05 with a t value of 4.001. The conclusion of this study is that low salt diet education and fluid restriction have an effect on Self Efficacy and motivation to recover in haemodialysis patients. Abstract

This research aims to identify the relationship between the application of nursing ethical principles and nurse performance. The method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach to 129 nurses on duty in the Inpatient Room at RSAL Dr. Mintohardjo. Data analysis was carried out using a linear regression test. The research results show that factors related to performance include rank or class (p=0.037), respect for others (r=0.621), compassion (r=0.594), advocacy (r=0.610), intimacy (r=0.608). The regression test shows that 7 variables have a joint influence with the equation Y: 31.864+1.127*Respect to Others + 1.689*Education + 1.179 Length of Work - 1.919 *class rank + 0.755 Intimacy – 1.975*career level + 1.054 Advocacy. Respect to others partially has a positive effect on nurses' performance in nursing care (t=2.433, p=0.016), while the other variables are confounding variables (p>0.05, t<1.98). Variables namely education, rank/class, length of service, career level, advocacy, respect for others and intimacy influence nurse performance with a determined influence of 39.3%. Conclusions from the 4 sub-variables of ethical implementation where these four variables have a significant relationship independently to nurse performance. Abstract

This research aims at hypertension management, which is very important to improve public health and reduce suffering from chronic diseases with the support of mobile health technology (mHealth). The research method used is a literature review through electronic databases and websites, namely Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, and ProQuest. The research results show that from 11 research articles, there is primary education based on health care technology or mHealth in the form of voice calls, web-based, and applications that can provide access, assessment, assistance, awareness, ability, and activation where mechanisms are felt regarding the use of mHealth services in supporting their hypertension self-management. In conclusion, patients can monitor their health status and self-management progress in real time thanks to mHealth services, which in turn encourages more self-management as well as mHealth services also provide patients with access to health education and reminders to help with their Blood Pressure (BP) self-management.
