Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing online CBT-I on older adults with sleep disorders. The method used is a Systematic Review guiding a search of 4 databases, ScienceDirect, Scopus, PubMed, and UI Lib, in October 2023 with article publication years starting from 2019-2023 to identify all relevant journal articles. The search technique follows the PRISMA flow. The research results showed that online CBT-I was proven to be effective in treating insomnia sleep disorders in the elderly. CBT-I can even treat secondary disorders due to insomnia, such as depression and anxiety. In conclusion, Online CBT-I can be implemented in health services provided that there is adequate computer and internet accessibility. Keywords: Online CBT, Insomnia, Sleep Disorders, Elderly

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of music therapy intervention on pain experienced by children treated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The method used is through searching for articles adapted to the formulation of research questions using the PICO formula in the EMBASE, Clinicalkey for Nursing, Proquest, ScienceDirect, Springer Link, Pubmed, and Scopus databases. The research results showed that music therapy for children treated in the PICU varied, including live music therapy, recorded music therapy, music therapy and hand massage, and music and video therapy. In conclusion, intervention through music therapy has proven to be effective in reducing pain, increasing comfort, and stabilizing children's hemodynamics. Abstract

This research aims to provide an opportunity for hypertensive patients to receive education and information related to hypertension and medication from health workers via their cell phones. The method used to search for articles relevant to the study in September-October 2023 was carried out using three stages, namely: planning, conducting, and reporting. The results obtained show that as many as 10 international articles analyzed in this paper have passed screening according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The journals or articles reviewed include the year of publication, database, research design, and location. In conclusion, the use of M-Health has been proven to be effective in making sufferers more compliant with every treatment carried out, especially when treatment is hampered by geographical problems. This M-Health innovation can help the process of effective management and control of hypertension. Keywords: M-Health, innovation, medication adherence, hypertension

Abstract

This research aims to determine the stress, burnout, and coping of nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic in hospitals. The research method used is a literature review by selecting a theme and determining keywords (Keywords) and Boolean operators (AND, OR NOT, or AND NOT) before searching for scientific articles online. The literature search in this literature review used 4 databases, namely, Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Scopus, and ProQuest. The research results show that psychological symptoms that appeared in health workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, fatigue, insomnia, and somatic symptoms, increased during the beginning of this pandemic. In conclusion, nurses experience a lot of work stress, medical professional burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a low sense of personal accomplishment), and mental health. Stress prevention should be adapted to the characteristics of the workplace, taking into account workplace optimization, social support, and compensation for workers' efforts. Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which student nurses provide spiritual nursing care to clients in private hospitals. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The research results show that the role of nursing students in fulfilling the spiritual needs of patients is very often (16.7%), often (52.8%), rarely (27.8%), and never (2.8%). Abstract

This study aims to determine the competency abilities of Level 2 nursing students in clinical practice in private hospitals. The method used is univariate descriptive analysis. The research results show five categories of skills: highly skilled, skilled, moderately skilled, less skilled, and not skilled. This data shows that the average percentage of level 2 nursing students carrying out clinical practice competencies in hospitals is in the highly skilled, skilled, and quite skilled competency categories. Level 2 nursing students have pretty good skill competencies in carrying out clinical practice competencies in hospitals, with a highly skilled percentage of 12 people (26.9%), skilled as many as 14 people (31.1%), quite skilled as many as nine people (21 .0%), less skilled as many as four people (10.1%), unskilled as many as five people (10.9%). In conclusion, second-level nursing students were able to carry out 32 assessment items on the achievement of clinical practice skills competency from the Child, KMB, and Maternity courses. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the level of knowledge and smoking behavior in hypertensive patients at the Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital. This research is a simple descriptive quantitative research. The results of the study showed that the relationship between knowledge and smoking behavior in hypertensive patients at Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital had a significance value of 0.047 (p <0.05) and r = 0.272, which means there was a relationship between knowledge and smoking behavior and smoking behavior in patients at the hospital. Bandar Lampung Adventist. In conclusion, a person's knowledge has a significant relationship with the smoking behavior of patients with hypertension. Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of the duration of smartphone use with sleep quality and learning achievement of Riau Banking Vocational School students. The method used is a correlation design with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that there was a relationship between the duration of smartphone use with sleep quality with a p-value of 0.002. As for the duration of smartphone use with learning achievement, there is no relationship with a p-value of 0.156. It is concluded that the duration of smartphone use is one of the factors that affect sleep quality in adolescents and for learning achievement there are other factors that affect student achievement. Abstract

This study aims to show the effectiveness of essential oil aromatherapy for pain compared with standard intervention measures in patients after gastrointestinal surgery. The research method used is a systematic review through databases and electronic websites, namely Pubmed, Science Direct, ProQuest, Embase and Sage Journals. The results of the study showed that from 5 research articles, data was obtained that giving Aromatherapy essential oils was proven to reduce pain after gastrointestinal surgical procedures, including lavender oil, geranium oil, mixing lavender, ylang-ylang, marjoram and neroli oils as well as sweet orange and rose types. Silk cloth. Conclusion: The addition of aromatherapy to standard therapy significantly reduces the severity of postoperative pain compared to standard therapy with or without placebo. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of muscle stretching exercises during hemodialysis on muscle cramps. The research method uses an integrative review approach by searching articles using 6 databases, namely ProQuest, ClinicalKey Nursing, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and ResearchGate. Article searches were carried out from March 5 2024 to March 25 2024. Article searches used the keywords stretching intradialysis, cramps intradialysis, exercises intradialysis, and muscle cramps. Preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) were used in the review. Results: From the results of the article search, it was found that muscle stretching exercises during hemodialysis carried out at the end of the HD session were proven to be able to prevent and reduce the intensity of muscle cramps in hemodialysis patients. Conclusion: Muscle stretching exercises performed during hemodialysis have been proven to prevent and reduce the intensity of muscle cramps during hemodialysis Keyword: Muscle cramps, Stretching intradialysis, Muscle stretching
