Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is accompanied by an increase in cyber incidents such as data breaches. One of the security methods that can be implemented to enhance data security against data breaches is by applying cryptography to data management systems. Cryptography is useful for encrypting plaintext into ciphertext, making the data not easily readable. One of the encryption algorithms widely used in data security is Blowfish and Twofish. Blowfish and Twofish are symmetric encryption algorithms that use a single key for encryption and decryption. This journal focuses on testing the encryption and decryption of Blowfish and Twofish algorithms in relation to space and time complexity. The results of testing three sets of data on two different devices indicate that the Blowfish algorithm has better speed than Twofish, while Twofish performs better than Blowfish in terms of memory usage. Moreover, the usage of the processor affects the speed of the process.

Abstract

Currently induction motors are widely used in industry because of their strong construction,high efficiency, and low maintenance. Machine maintenance is necessary to extend the life of the induction motor. Based on previous research, bearing faults can cause 42% - 50% of all motor failures. Generally this is caused by manufacturing errors, lack of lubrication and installation errors. Motor misalignment is one of the errors in installation. This research is concerned with descrete wavelete transform simulations to identify misalignment in induction motors. Modeling of motor operation is introduced in this paper as normal operation and two variations of misalignment. Haar and symlet wavelet transformations at the first level to the third level are used to extract the motor vibration signal into a high frequency signal. Then the energy signal and other signal extracts obtained form the high frequency signal are evaluated to analyze the condition of the motor. This evaluation process uses fuzzy logic of the fuzzy subspace cluster type. The results of research using a combination method of signal processing in the form of DWT and artificial intelligence methods of the fuzzy subspace cluster type. Then the occurrence of misalignment in three-phase induction motors can be detected early. So that maintenance and replacement can be anticipated before misalignment occurs. From the experimental result, it was obtained that motor and clutch endurance test for level 1 of the fuzzy subspace cluster method was 0,88% better than the fuzzy c-mean method of 0,75%.

Abstract

This research investigates the global public's perception of the phenomenon of Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) who offer romantic experiences such as "boyfriend" or "girlfriend experience." Involving sentiment analysis, this study collected and classified 1623 comments from social media platforms using the Microsoft Azure algorithm. The analysis results indicate that the majority of the public holds a negative view of such relationships, depicting the complexity of social interactions in the digital world. These findings underscore the importance of understanding the impact of VTubers' phenomenon in the context of parasocial relationships. The research recommends increased discussions through other social platforms and the development of more advanced sentiment analysis models for a deeper understanding of this phenomenon. The research findings emphasize the relevance and complexity of VTubers' phenomenon in today's digital culture, highlighting the importance of developing social understanding of human interactions in a virtual context.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a basic need for society. The availability of electrical energy is one of the driving factors for improving the community's economy. However, the availability of electrical energy is not felt by the residents of Tipang Village. There are frequent power outages so that people sometimes go days without using electricity. Frequent power outages certainly disrupt community activities. One solution to overcome the electricity shortage is to use the waterfall channel to become a hydroelectric power plant. This power plant can be integrated with waterways to produce clean and sustainable electrical energy. The aim of this research is to calculate the flow rate of the water channel (river) in the Janji waterfall channel in Tipang Village, then analyze the energy potential of the river water flow around the Janji waterfall channel in Tipang Village. The results of the research are that the measured discharge of the Janji River, Tipang Village, Bakti Raja District is around 400 s/d. 600 liters per second and an average height of 35 m. Tipang Village's potential for a micro-hydro power plant (PLTMH) is 80 kW. If you use one Turbo Propeller type turbine (horizontal axis), 300 mm diameter and 1 3-phase synchronous generator unit, it can produce 35 kW of electricity from this potential, which can meet the electricity needs of the people of Tipang Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency.

Abstract

Rapid economic development and urbanization in Indonesia have resulted in an increase in the amount of transportation. The increasing number of transportation users is not balanced with the increase in driving awareness, thereby exacerbating transportation problems. This imbalance has caused driving safety in Indonesia to become a concern. This is proven by the increasing number of traffic accidents and causing many victims. As many as 73% of traffic accidents occur when the weather is sunny and hot. Road temperature affects the friction that occurs on vehicle tires. The friction that occurs between the tires and the asphalt road causes changes in the structure and thickness of the vehicle tires which can trigger tire rupture on the vehicle. Based on these problems, the innovation of a tire pressure and temperature detection device using an infrared pyrometer sensor has emerged with additional modifications that enable the tire pressure detection device to work optimally and provide convenience for its users.

Abstract

The company inventory is one of the important aspects that receives primary attention in a company. Generally, companies with a vast and diverse inventory cater to clients and local employees. Therefore, company inventory becomes a primary concern for various businesses. However, in some companies, inventory tracking still relies on software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. This makes the recording and management of company inventory less efficient. Based on this issue, it is concluded that companies need an electronic inventory system or e-inventory. Hence, the development of a mobile-based inventory system is undertaken. This development utilizes the Waterfall method and the Flutter framework. The stages in the Waterfall method include requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The advantage of using this method is that the work is carried out gradually and systematically. The results of the research conducted using the Waterfall method include the creation of five pages or user interfaces: Dashboard, Login, Home, Saya, and Detail Alat. Each page has different functionalities. The user interface is created using the Flutter framework and tested using the black box testing method, resulting in alignment between user preferences and the application created.

Abstract

PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi is a company that operates in the real estate sector and focuses on revenue and sales. PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi is located in Ruko Perumnas Tl. Kelapa, Alang-Alang Lebar District, Palembang City. PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi offers several housing products, including Green Center Park Housing located on Jalan Boulevard Citra Grand City No. 88, Alang-Alang Lebar Palembang. Currently, there is no system that helps customers easily place orders with booking agents without having to travel to the location. For this reason, an information system will be built for Android e-commerce of Commercial Homes based in Green Center Park using the Android Studio application, as a container for creating web services and facilities. MySQL database to create the database. Testing takes place using the black box method, including testing the admin system, users and the report printing process. From the test result, the feature menu in the green center park e-commerce application runs well and satisfies users in accordance with user expectations.

Abstract

Every parent is obliged to care for and love their child. A child really needs guidance and direction from every parent starting from still in the womb until the child understands the meaning of life. Most of the child's life span is in the family sphere, therefore the parenting style of the child greatly determines the personality and behavior of the child. But there are still many parenting styles for their children that are too harsh, causing big problems for the child. This is based on parents' ignorance of parenting mistakes for child development. Therefore, the authors designed a 3D animation video for parenting mistakes that damage children's development using Unity 3D. This animated video aims to help parents find out the causes and effects of parenting mistakes for the growth and development of their children. Animated videos made using simple language to make it easier to understand by all groups of people.

Abstract

Workshops are a business that has an important role in the Indonesian economy. However, there are still many workshops that do not have a good operational system, especially in terms of recording transactions. This can cause the workshop to be less efficient and effective in running its business. In this research, the author developed a desktop cashier application for workshops. This application was built using Python, PyQt5, and MySQL. This application has features that can help workshops in recording transactions, such as master data, transactions, reports and settings. The research results show that this desktop cashier application can help workshops improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness. This application can make it easier for workshops to record transactions, produce accurate reports, and manage workshop data.

Abstract

The windling availability of fossil fuels and the continuosuly increasing demand from them cause an imbalance in the stability of demand and supply. One of the efforts that can be made to replace fossil fuels is to utilize biomass energy, such as bioethanol, as substitute for fossil fuels. This study aims to determine the process of making bioethanol from banana peel by adding several variations in the composition of tape and bread yeast. Moveover, it also aims rto determine the composition of biethanol that meets the Indonesian National Standasd (SNI) 7390:2012 by conducting experiments ti determine the ethanol content, methanol content, water content, density, and viscosity. The result of the study show the best quality that can be used as a fuel substitute is the result of fermentation using 10% tape yeast from banana peel, with an ethanol content of 95.56%, methanol content of 0,52%, water content of 0,86%, density of 0,783 gr/ml, and viscosity of 1,17cP.
