The incorporation of gamification elements in physical education signifies a pedagogical advancement capable of improving student engagement and skill acquisition. This systematic literature review evaluates the efficacy of Game Challenge Cards as a gamification tool for enhancing volleyball abilities in elementary school children. In accordance with PRISMA criteria, we conducted a systematic analysis of 35 peer-reviewed articles published from 2018 to 2025, sourced from the Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and SportDiscus databases. The results indicate that gamification methods employing challenge cards substantially improve the acquisition of essential volleyball abilities (impact sizes between d=0.52-0.87), elevate student motivation (assessed by validated measures), and foster inclusive learning settings. Game Challenge Cards exhibit efficacy via organized visual guidance, incremental skill enhancement, prompt feedback systems, and recognition of accomplishments. The efficacy of implementation is influenced by aspects such as design quality, integration into broader pedagogical frameworks, and teacher preparation. This review adds to the expanding evidence supporting gamification in physical education and offers physical educators research-based techniques to improve volleyball instruction in elementary environments. Future research directions encompass the examination of long-term skill retention, the exploration of digital-physical integration possibilities, and the investigation of tailored applications for distinct student populations.

This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of limb length, arm muscle strength and movement agility contributing to basketball dribbling ability in male students of class XI MAN 3 Kediri. This study applies a non-experimental design with an explanatory approach, which aims to identify the level of relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The data sampling technique used purposive systematic porpotional random sampling technique totaling 42 students. This study uses quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the contribution of the effectiveness of limb length with dribbling amounted to 18.8%, the contribution of the effectiveness of arm muscle strength with dribbling ability amounted to 19.6%, and motion agility with dribbling ability amounted to 35.9%. (X1) provides effectiveness of 18.8%, (X2) provides effectiveness of 19.6%, and (X3) provides effectiveness of 35.9%. As for the relative contribution to the independent variable (X1) of 25.3%, (X2) of 26.4%, and (X3) of 48.3%. Simultaneously, the independent variable of leg length (X1), the independent variable of arm muscle strength (X2), and the independent variable of movement agility (X3) amounted to 74.3%. This means that the high and low dependent variables of basketball dribbling ability (Y) of 74.3% are determined by the independent variable limb length (X1), arm muscle strength (X2) and the independent variable of motion agility (X3).

This study focuses on examining and determining the possibility of a relationship between arm length, arm muscle strength and arm muscle explosiveness with chest pass ability owned by male basketball players at SMPN 4 Malang City. The method used is descriptive explanatory. The population in the study amounted to 60 male basketball players at SMPN 4 Malang City. The technique used is stratified purposive systematic proportional random sampling with a portion of 90% of 60 players so that the sample in this study amounted to 54 basketball players. The analysis technique used is parametric inferential statistics in the form of multiple correlations complemented by multiple regression analysis. The results of the multiple correlation test research obtained a coefficient = 0.752 and Sig.p = 0.000 < α = 0.05. The chest pass skill is 56.6% of each independent variable: variable arm length 21.33%; arm muscle strength 15.08%; arm muscle explosive power 20.23%. The final results of this study indicate that the ability to perform chest passes in basketball games has a positive and linear relationship with a combination of three physical condition factors namely arm length, arm muscle strength, and arm muscle explosiveness when analyzed simultaneously.

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of grade VI students of SDN Sidodadi 04 through the use of modified tools tennis balls in learning to throw bullets sideways. The problem in this research is the lack of learning tools, especially bullet shot tools, which makes the learning process at SDN Sidodadi 04 less effective. Besides that, many students have difficulty understanding and performing the basic movements of the bullet sideways style, so that their participation and learning outcomes are low. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles. The population of this study was class VI students of SDN Sidodadi 04, totalling 15 students. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, as many as 10 students (66.6%) had achieved learning completeness, while 5 students (33.3%) were not yet complete out of a total of 15 students. In cycle II, there was a positive increase, where 13 students (86.7%) achieved learning completeness, while 2 students (13.3%) were still not complete. there was an increase in student learning completeness from 66.6% in cycle I to 86.6% in cycle II. This shows that the modification of learning tools can help students better understand the material and improve their learning results. In conclusion, the application of modified learning tools in the form of tennis balls in bullet throwing activities has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing video-based learning media on students' learning motivation in swimming lessons. The background of this study is based on the low learning motivation of students due to the use of conventional methods that are uninteresting and unsuitable for the learning styles of 21st-century students. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The population in this study consists of all eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo, totaling 224 students. The total sample size is 56 students. Data analysis techniques use SPSS. The instrument is in the form of a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the data analysis showed a significant increase in learning motivation in the experimental group compared to the control group. The average motivation score of the experimental group increased from 2.939 to 4.207, while the control group increased from 2.811 to 3.075. These findings reinforce that video-based learning media can deliver swimming material more effectively and enjoyably, while also building students' affective engagement. Thus, the use of educational videos is a relevant and innovative alternative strategy for enhancing students' learning motivation in physical education, particularly in swimming instruction.

Sports injuries are a significant problem that can affect the long-term health and performance of athletes. This study aims to analyze the level of knowledge of sports students in Ngawi Regency about the prevention and management of sports injuries, as well as the factors that influence it. This study used a quantitative design with a descriptive approach, with the main instrument being a structured questionnaire distributed to 200 sports students enrolled in universities in Ngawi Regency. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a sufficient level of knowledge, but there were still a large number of students who had insufficient knowledge about sports injuries. Age and gender were found to have an influence on students' knowledge level, where older and male students tended to have better knowledge compared to younger and female students. Based on these results, this study recommends the enhancement of a more comprehensive education and training programme in the sports education curriculum, which includes injury prevention techniques, use of protective equipment, and first aid. A more structured and evidence-based education programme could improve students' understanding of sports injuries and help reduce the incidence of injuries in sporting activities.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of physical activity to resting heart rate. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. Subjects in this research amounted to 50 students from the physical education health and recreation study program of STKIP Modern Ngawi. The sample was selected through the total sampling method. Data were analyzed descriptively and correlatively. The instrument used to collect data on the level of physical activity was the IPAQ-SF questionnaire and heart rate was measured by palpating the arterial blood vessels in the wrist and counting the number of beats per minute. The results of the resting pulse study obtained a minimum value of 41 beats per minute. Physical activity obtained a minimum value of 1122 MET-minutes / week, a maximum value of 4173 MET-minutes / week, and obtained an average of 2442.5 MET-minutes / week. The normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test shows that the significance of pulse rate p > 0.05, which is 0.63 > 0.05. The significance value of physical activity p > 0.05 which is 0.200 > 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between physical activity and resting heart rate.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interval training on cardiovascular endurance in students who take part in extracurricular futsal. The research used quantitative methods. This study used an experimental approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consisted of 18 students in the futsal extracurricular program and used total sampling, which involved all members of the population as samples. The instrument used in this research is the beep test. The data analysis technique used in this study was the paired sample t-test. The t test results show a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), so the alternative hypothesis is accepted, pretest data shows the highest value of 39.5, the lowest value of 26.8, the average pretest score of 31.98 increased to 37.16. sig. 2-tailed with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, the results of the analysis indicate a significant difference in pretest and posttest data after treatment. Therefore, it can be said that interval training has a positive impact on increasing the cardiovascular endurance of futsal extracurricular students at the junior high school level.

Low back pain is a common injury among weightlifters, often affecting their athletic performance and training capacity. This study aimed to investigate the effect of rehabilitation programs on alleviating low back pain by measuring enkephalin levels, a biological compound with analgesic properties. This study relied on an experimental approach to test the effect of sports rehabilitation programs on low back pain in weightlifters. This was achieved by assessing blood enkephalin levels, lumbar muscle strength, and pain levels before and after implementing the rehabilitation programs. The analysis was assisted using SPSS version 26. The results showed that rehabilitation of weightlifting injuries and the impact of enkephalin levels had a significant effect in reducing lower back pain (p < 0.000). The outcomes indicated a tremendous impact of rehabilitation on enhancing muscle electricity and lowering ache, with enkephalin levels having a massive impact on ache comfort and growing performance. Conclusion, the rehabilitation program implemented as a treatment plan for chronic low back pain in weightlifters, especially those with mechanical injuries, is effective.

Menopause is a natural phase in a woman's life characterized by physical and emotional symptoms and an increased risk of other serious health conditions, so exercise is needed to address these issues. This study aims to explore the types of exercise that are effective for the physical and mental health of menopausal women through a scoping review method. 180 articles were found in total, but 5 of them were duplicated. After screening, 175 articles were successfully screened and finally 8 articles were found that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The 8 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected. The results showed that several types of exercise can improve the physical and mental health of menopausal women, such as resistance training, aerobics, SaBang-DolGi walking program, ergonomic exercises, bone joint exercises and terra exercises. These types of exercise can increase muscle strength, reduce depression, improve sleep and cognitive function, improve physical and mental health (including vitality and bone mineral density), and improve overall quality of life. In conclusion, regular exercise has a significant positive impact on improving physical and mental health in menopausal women.
