Abstract

DPFC can be used to improve receiving end voltage of fourteen bus system. This paper shows the conception and simulation of wind and solar based distribution power flow controller for sag compensation and ohmic loss reduction. The objectives of this work are to improve the voltage and reduce the line losses. Fourteen bus systems with DPFC in open loop is simulated. Fourteen bus system with DPFC in closed loop using PI and ANN are also simulated and the results are presented. The comparative study is presented to demonstrate the improvement in dynamic response of ANN controlled DPFC system. ANN is observed to provide better control than has other controllers and improved damping characterises.

Abstract

The accuracy of the type or dosage of drugs by doctors is important. The types and doses of medicines given by the doctors should match the illness suffered by the patient as well as consider the patient's health condition. In hypertension disease, the error rate of drug dosage by medical personnel is quite high, reaching 34%. Meanwhile, the administration of the type and dosage of drugs appropriate to the patient's condition required the knowledge of high medical personnel and experienced medical personnel. In this research, we developed the model of drug suitability evaluation with hypertension patient's health condition using Profile Matching method. The proposed model evaluates the patient's health condition based on the parameters provided by the expert and produces recommendations on the type of drug. To optimize the Profile Matching method, in this research we applied interpolation weighting method which calculates the proximity level of the patient profile with drug profile more accurately. Based on the experiment, the proposed model has an accuracy value of 87%, precision 87.11% and recall of 85.44%. It proves that the proposed method can provide recommendations on the right type of hypertension medication. Also, the interpolation weighting method is proven to increase the accuracy.

Abstract

Wireless sensor networks comprise of a large number of lightweight and relatively low-cost computational nodes which their main task is to sense the surrounding environment and collect the information to send it wirelessly to a central point to take the appropriate actions. Although these networks had been used in various applications, achieving this task is challenging due to the many constraints of sensor nodes including their limited processing power, communication bandwidth, and power supply. Therefore, an energy efficient routing protocols had to be developed specifically for sensor networks to insure longer lifetime and reasonable performance of the network. In this work, we propose an energy efficient hierarchical routing protocol using chain-based clustering. By simulation on MATLAB, the proposed protocol proved to enhance the performance as it prolongs the lifetime of the network and decreases the energy consumption, the transmission delay, and the overhead compared to other existing protocols as it depends on some advanced methods including dynamic selection of number of chains method, k-means clustering method, advanced greedy chain construction method, and multi-factor based leader selection method.

Abstract

This paper introduces a multi-parameter measurement system, which is used for recording the temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, rotation speed and acceleration, etc. The system uses a 32-bit RISC microprocessor of STM32F103ZET6 based on the core of ARM Coretex-M3 as master chip. Abstract

A sub-1V opamp based β-multiplier CMOS bandgap voltage reference (BGVR) with high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low temperature coefficient (TC) is proposed in this paper. A current mode regulator scheme is inserted to isolate the supply voltage of the operational amplifier (opamp) and the supply voltage of the BGVR core from the supply voltage source in order to reduce ripple sensitivity and to achieve a high PSRR. The proposed circuit is designed and simulated in 0.18-μm standard CMOS technology. The proposed voltage reference delivers an output voltage of 634.6mV at 27°C. Tthe measurement temperature coefficient is 22,3ppm/°C over temperature range -40°C to 140°C, power supply rejection ratio is -93dB at 10kHz and -71dB at 1MHz and a line regulation of 104μV/V is achieved over supply voltage range 1.2V to 1.8V. The layout area of the proposed circuit is 0.0337mm2. The proposed sub-1V bandgap voltage reference can be used as an internal voltage reference in low power LDO regulators and switching regulators.

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the defect of traditional image scrambling methods, a new hybrid scrambling algorithm is proposed. It uses image’s spatial and gray level information. Comparative experiments show it has the advantages of easy implementation, large key space, and good scrambling effect by only one time scrambling instead of many times processing.

Abstract

The switching device turn-on and turn-off process will produce high-frequency electromagnetic interference, based on the finite element method ANSYS software with powerful computing capabilities, has been widely used in complex electromagnetic field calculations. Abstract

The proper mapping in case of allocation of available tasks among particles is a challenging job to accomplish. It requires proper procedural approach and effectual algorithm or strategy. The deterministic polynomial time for task allocation problem is relative. The existence of proper and exact approach for allocation problem is void. However, for the survival of the grid and executing the assigned tasks, the reserved tasks need to be allocated equally among the particles of the grid space. At the same time, the applied model for task allocation must not consume unnecessary time and memory. We applied Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for allocating the task. Additionally, the particles will be divided into three clusters based on their energy level. Each cluster will have its own cluster header. Cluster headers will be used to search the task into space. In a single cluster, particles member will be of same energy level status such as full energy, half energy, and no energy level. As a result, the system will use the limited time for searching task for the remaining tasks in it if a particular task requires allocating half task to a particle.

Abstract

This paper reports a co-citation network investigation (bibliometric investigation) of 10 journals in the management of technology (MOT) field. And also presenting different bibliometric thoughts, organize investigation devices recognize and investigate the ideas secured by the field and their between connections. Particular outcomes from various levels of investigation demonstrate the diverse measurements of technology administration: Co-word terms recognize subjects, Journal co-reference arrange: connecting to different controls, Co-citation network indicate groupings of topics.
