<![CDATA[Education is a process of inheriting life values that serve as a guideline as well as a foundation for character development. Education must be a conscious and planned process and oriented to contextual life values. Living Values Education is one of the patterns education based on life values is deemed sufficiently relevant to Christian Education as a learning process about the living values of Christianity. The Bible explicitly records that the life, teachings, and role model of the Lord Jesus have practiced the Living Values Education as a pattern of education. This research was conducted using the Literature Review method, through literature obtained both manually and also through an electronic database such as Google and Google Scholer. From the literature analysis conducted, this study found three principles as the basis for character development through The Christian Living Values Education. First, the values of human life with God. Second, the values of human life with others. And third, the values of human life by itself. All three values of life have the same substance, namely: love with heart, soul, and mind. The hope of this research is that Christian religious educators are held on the values of life centered on Christ.]]>

<![CDATA[This theme discusses the exegetical study of contextual evangelism in 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23. Contextual evangelism has always been an interesting topic in discussions of Missiology and Ecclesiology. Although sometimes controversy, contextual evangelism is still one of the effective methods of preaching the gospel to the neglected tribes. The preaching of the cross-cultural gospel was one of the points Paul talked about with the church in the city of Corinth. The Apostle Paul said that preaching the gospel was a must for him (1 Corinthians 9:16). And in chapters 9: 19-23 the apostle Paul tells how the method or method he used to preach the gospel to those who are culturally different from himself. Gospel preaching is a mandate or the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus to believers, and must be preached to all tribes and languages. In preaching the Gospel, Paul sets an example that is a strategy in contextual evangelism. The Apostle Paul willingly devoted himself "I made myself a servant, 1 Corinthians 9:19." Paul also adjusted to be able to understand those of different cultures "by becoming like". So you can win as much as possible. As well as a strong vision to win as many people as possible for Christ, so that they become saved. Paul understood the mandate given, to make Jews and non-Jews to be mursed Christ. Challenges and obstacles in preaching Inil are always there, but understanding methods based on God's word is the choice to get rid of these obstacles.]]>

<![CDATA[The church is present on earth as an extension of the presence of the kingdom of God among humanity. The church is always present to respond to the conditions and situations of the times in a variety of challenges and temptations. But the church always sided with God's sovereignty and will govern and control everything, including the pandemics experienced by humans on this earth. The Church, currently dealing directly with the Covid-19 pandemic, which has worldwide, and its spread is so massive, and its impact is so wide in various sectors of life. The church was sent to bring the peace of Christ in truth and love. That is why the church responds to the appeal of the Government and health protocols from WHO by carrying out church services at home. Worship at home is not an attempt to establish a house church as a new institution. Worship at home is a form of faith that is responsible for the lives of fellow humans, and at the same time as an expression of love for others. Home worship is a service that is held based on the worship and liturgy of a church institution, where the congregation is part of its members. Principles and mechanisms of worship at home are regulated in such a way that using all available and available digital equipment and technology. The important and most important thing in conducting worship at home is that the congregation continues to truly worship the Triune God, sing praises to God, pray, and the peak and center is to listen to the word of God through preaching live (live streaming) or in recorded form or in printed form.]]>

<![CDATA[Following Jesus has risks that must be faced. Everyone who will enter into fellowship with Him will be challenged. That challenge to “take up the cross” was presented by Jesus when He was in the world. Everyone who follows Him, will experience suffering. The suffering faced is not the result of a grievous error, but because of the differences between the self-gratifying normal of the previous situation to the self-denying that Jesus calls us too. A person is required to imitate Jesus in facing the various suffering from self-denying that results from his fellowship with Jesus. A person who can endure suffering will continue to be in fellowship with Jesus. Fortitude in dealing with such situations will lead to similarity with Jesus. Similarity is an important part of fellowship with Jesus.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the analysis and evaluation of Thomas Aquinas's view of the "image of God". Through qualitative research with a literature review approach, the following conclusions are obtained Aquinas's view of God's image is very unbiblical. Because it is more inclined to the philosophy of Plato and Aristotle. This is a characteristic of scholastic group theology. Because scholastic theologians tend to place ratios more dominant in theology than the Bible. Furthermore, the image of God carried by humans is not only in the ratio but in the totality of human existence in the earth as God's representative. The image of God in humans experiences severe damage after the fall of man in sin. The ratio is no better than the body. In other words, all parts of human beings, whether spirit, ratio, morals, body, when created in a noble or very good state. This rejects Aquinas's view that there are inferior forces. Finally, through this research, we want to stress that the image of the true God is in Christ. This has the effect that it is only through Christ that the image of God that has been badly damaged can be repaired.]]>

<![CDATA[Success is making a difference in wealth is the longing of every human being in general and believers in particular. Everyone longs for unity. However, the reality of conflict often occurs both within the family, in the church, and in the life of the nation. One of the causes of conflict is due to not being able to manage differences. The differences in question are differences in religion, ethnicity, culture, education, and so on. If these differences are not managed properly, conflicts will continue to exist both within the family, in the church, and in the life of the nation. Seeing the situation as described above, a theory is needed on how to manage differences into wealth. This article will provide a theory on how to manage the differences to become wealthy. This theory is an analysis of Colossians 3: 12-17.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper is a phenomenological descriptive analysis of the living conditions of Christians today. The author found several problems in the life of Christian spirituality today, namely: the failure of Christians to reflect on their spirituality by their religious positions, the emergence of an apathetic attitude to show a good spiritual life due to an experience of failure, a lack of practical implementation of the values of spirituality that are understood, the life of spirituality. without obedience and the presence of a center of non-biblical spirituality in the Christian life. The writer observes this problem as a problem in building the spiritual formation of Christianity today. This problem the writer observed was also experienced by Zacharias, but the Bible provides the fact that Zacharias was able to overcome these problems. Thus this paper refers to the principle of Zacharias spirituality in answering this problem. Hopefully this article adds insight and provides answers to the lives of Christians today.]]>

<![CDATA[One type of psalm is Lament. Psalms of Lament sung with weeping, weeping driven by the psalmist's sorrow. David wrote many psalms where one of them is lamentation in Psalm 12. In this article the psalmist experienced a change of mood (feeling) from lamenting, joyful hope then again lamenting. The research in this paper used a qualitative approach to library research methods. Literature research requires a study of related literature to guide researchers to achieve the research objectives of the data taken based on selected books. While the interpretation to find the meaning of the text of the Research Team uses the method of Reading the Bible (BGA). The methods of BGA are simple but practice interpretation that was designed initially for Christian quiet times. After Psalm 12 interpreted, the Research Team founded that the psalmist was still lamenting over the situation around him. Even though the psalmist experienced joy because God will save, but the wicked are still there and rottenness still arises among the sons of men. Because God works not based on the presence or absence of the wicked and rottenness among the children of men.]]>

<![CDATA[The fall of the first man (Adam) into sin caused the man to lose the glory of God, man died and was separated from God. The gospel is glad tidings of Jesus Christ who died, rose again to save everyone who believes. To believe the gospel means to believe in the redemptive work of Christ, to reject the gospel is to reject salvation. In the Gospel God's truth is revealed to everyone who believes in Him. This truth is related to the absolute truth of God that no one has. The truth of God revealed in the Gospels is related to the truth that God has done through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus to save sinners. Salvation can only be received through faith. Faith is a gift from God given to humans so that they believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The gospel gives hope and sets people free from death. To get salvation everyone must listen to the gospel. The task of evangelism is the responsibility of the Church (believers) to preach the message of salvation in the power of the Holy Spirit to sinners so that they repent and have faith in Jesus and become disciples who obey the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.]]>
