Abstract

This study examines the use of interrogative sentences in trials at the Banda Aceh District Court. The trial in principle is an activity to obtain and prove the information being tried. Therefore, the judge as the person in charge of examining and adjudicating cases uses question sentences to obtain information as clearly as possible. The results of this study conclude that the types of question sentences contained in the trials at the Banda Aceh District Court are, partial sentences, total sentences, rhetorical sentences, and subtle sentences. Furthermore, the question sentence function is a representative and directive function.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning of the narrative presented by Najwa Shihab which received comments from Hotman Paris Hutapea. This research used qualitative descriptive method, because its purpose is to express the meaning of text. The result of this study prove that there is no element of insulting or degrading the good name of the presented by Najwa Shihab as presented by Hotman Paris. The narrative leads to the condition of not received justice from the state related to the case of splashing hard water.

Abstract

Waris merupakan salah satu hal yang telah diatur Islam karena termaktub secara eksplisit, baik di dalam Alquran maupun Hadis. Bahkan, proporsi pembagian dan penerima warisan pun sudah ditentukan secara tegas dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI). KHI berisi tentang syarat-syarat muwaris yang dapat mewarisi ahli waris, asas-asas hukum waris, sebab-sebab yang dapat menjadi penghalang dan membatalkan perpindahan harta kepada ahli waris, orang-orang yang berhak mendapatkan warisan dan kelompok-kelompok ahli waris, serta ketentuan pembagian harta warisan. Pembagian waris merupakan topik permasalahan utama yang diangkat dalam Hikayat Hauj Jawabir (selanjutnya disingkat HHJ). Adapun ikhtisar cerita dalam teks HHJ adalah Hauj Jawabir merupakan seorang saudagar yang kaya raya dari tanah Hindustan. Ia mempunyai tiga orang anak kandung yang kesemuanya adalah laki-laki. Lalu, Ia membagikan semua harta warisannya kepada ketiga anak laki-lakinya. Artinya, pembagian harta warisan tersebut dilakukan pada saat orang tua mereka dalam hal ini, Hauj Jawabir masih hidup pada saat usia sudah senja. Permasalahan yang muncul kemudian adalah setelah pembagian harta warisan tersebut, justru Hauj Jawabir mendapatkan perlakuan yang tidak menyenangkan dari ketiga orang putranya. Ketiga anaknya menganggap bahwa keberadaan sang ayah (Hauj Jawabir) sudah tidak berhak sedikit pun atas segala harta benda yang dimilikinya. Hal itulah yang kemudian akan dikaji secara kontekstual dengan ketentuan hukum waris yang sudah ada, terutama dengan ketentuan hukum waris berdasarkan Kompilasi Hukum Islam.

Abstract

Language has an important role to help people communicate and survive their life. It also differentiates human than other creature. That is one of the reasons why people learn to talk as humans. There are six stages of language development. Many factors also take part in this language development of human being, including television. Television has influenced the way of people think and talk. For Indonesian children who watch television in more hours than they read books, television has more power to impact and affect not only their behavior, manner and thought but also their language. To bring all effect of this television runs in a good way, teachers, parents and also the society and government need to help each other to support and implement situational and conditioning that help children aware and take good advantages of television for their language development.

ABSTRAK :Imajinasi kita sebagai pembaca menerawang terhadap tokoh rekaan yang kita hadapi. Bahwa protagonis adalah seorang yang mencoba mendobrak sistem dan norma yang telah mapan dan mampat. Dia adalah tokoh yang kreatif dan merdeka. Pada konflik berikutnya pengarang melaga atau menghadapkan tokohnya melawan sistem dan peradaban borjuis dan dekaden. Ini sangat menarik kalau saja protagonis komited terhadap apa yang dicitakan dan diimpikannya tapi pengarang tampak surut ibarat seorang wasit yang bijak membunyikan peluit untuk memisah pada saat pertarungan kalah menang itu.KATA KUNCI: cerpen, apresiasi

Abstract

This research discuss about the oral tradition mamongoti bagas ( enter new house) in Batak Toba society. The theory used is theory text, kotex and the context and local wisdom .The Method used is descriptive qualitative. The data is series of the event enter new house in Batak Toba society.The results show that text in the event enter a new house in Batak Toba society has a meaning to form new social relationships. Kotex contains elements prosemik where there is a pause of speakers, sotah we know position of  person in the event enter a new house in Batak Toba society. The context is  about context situation, social and place.The event enter new house contains three local wisdom, namely thanksgiving, harmony and peace, and caring environment. It can be concluded that oral  tradition enter a new house in batak toba society contains local wisdom tah must be protected and preserved.Key Words : mamongoti bagas, Batak Toba Society, oral tradition, local wisdom

Abstract

This study discusses bajalan walkactivity verb and verb transitional events transisional ranjah "hit" in the language of Banjarese. Issues discussed included how to form verbs bajalan activity "walk" and verb transitional events ranjah "hit" in banjar.This study aims to describe the activities bajalan verb "walk" and verb transitional events ranjah "hit" in the language banjarese. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative method. Techniques used in the data acquisition techniques involved capably refer free. There are three action steps based methods and techniques, namely the collection, analysis and presentation of data. Data were collected from 2016 1 Januari s.d. March 1, 2016 in the village of Bakarung, Hulu Sungai Selatan, South Kalimantan Province. based on the results penenelitian bajalan activity verb "walk" in the language of Banjarese show in terms of function predicate position, in terms of the meaning of declared activities subject intentionally, and syntax can be used as a messenger or imperative word. While Verb transitional events ranjah "hit" in the language banjarese show in terms of function predicate position, in terms of meaning describes the displacement state of the subject inadvertently, in terms of syntax can not be used as a sentence order, or imperative.
