Abstract

The purpose in the study was to find out the teacher's strategy in developing children's cognitive abilities during the learning period from home period in RA Islam Terpadu Ta'dIbul Amin Banjarmasin. This research use descriptive qualitative method. The object in this research is the teacher's strategy in developing children's cognitive abilities during the learning period from home, while the subject is 4 teachers. The data collection in this research use observation, interview and documentation. From the results of the research conducted, the strategy carried out by teachers in developing children's cognitive abilities is carried out with varied activities, and using media around the child. The use of media around children aims to make it easier for parents to follow the learning process flow, in the hope that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Abstract

This article aims to determine the application of holistic integrative terms from the artistic aspect which consists of the implementation of educational services arranged with art programs that develop other aspects such as moral and religious values, language, cognitive, social, and physical motor skills in TK PKK Tamansatriyan Malang. Data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observation. The sources of data in this study were principals who were interviewed, students who were observed, teachers who were interviewed and observed, parents, foundations, and employees who the authors determined based on the considerations of the principal, documents, and archives at the school that supports the main data source. The application of holistic integrative in early childhood education at TK PKK Tamansatriyan Malang in terms of the artistic aspect has been carried out well. Through various programs in the arts aspect, which can be seen from fashion shows, creative dances, fine arts and crafts, and even traditional dances, besides cultural introductions through traditional foods. In the programs, parents and the village also take part in the preparation of the program to be implemented.

Abstract

This study focuses on identifying how Early Childhood Education Institutions in the city of Samarinda carry out the learning process during the covid-19 pandemic. After the government rules to carry out learning from home. The emergence of learning from home rules makes educators have to keep innovating and being creative in carrying out the learning process. In order for children's rights to be fulfilled, the learning process from home is carried out online and offline. This study analyzes the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Early Childhood Education Institution. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques and research instruments using interview text using google form. This research uses triangulation technique. The results of the interviews were collected from seven Early Childhood Education Institutions, namely KB Al-Mardiah, KB Al-Hijrah, RA Mentari, TK Fastabiqul Khairat, TK Engang Putih, TK Tunas Harapan and TK Negri 11. The results of the identification of this study are 1) Child Education Institutions Early childhood in Samarinda City do a lot of digital learning processes or better known as online learning. What is considered closer to the face-to-face process, 2) assignments are still given in the form of student worksheets which are distributed at the beginning of the week and collected at the end of the week, and 3) meeting hours are much less with one hour meeting consisting of 10 minutes of opening, 40 minutes of core activities and 10 minutes closing. However, for offline learning, educators experience obstacles and difficulties, especially in understanding the implementation of the offline learning process and lack of good cooperation with parents.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cultivation of socially caring characters through storytelling learning in children aged 5-6 years in RA. Irbah Golden Age Surabaya. Researchers photographed the course of storytelling experienced by teachers and children in RA. Irbah Golden Age Surabaya translated into words. Researchers also describe social caring characters that appear after children listen to stories. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years in RA. Irbah Golden Age Surabaya for the 2022-2023 school year. Number of subjects 20 children aged 5 - 6 years. Sources of data in this study were obtained through observation of researchers in learning to tell stories during 5 meetings. The results showed that storytelling at this institution was carried out well from opening to closing for 5 consecutive days. The results showed that after learning to tell stories, 75% of children like to share and can speak politely. 14 children or 70% of the subjects stated that after listening to stories they were able to love their friends. 70% of the subjects stated that after listening to the story they did not force their will, were able to queue, were able to train their emotions by showing an attitude that could be felt, namely not getting angry when they found something inappropriate. according to their wishes. From the results of this study the researchers concluded that learning to tell stories proved to be a strategy for instilling socially caring character education in children aged 5-6 years in RA. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of technology integration in early childhood education on their cognitive development. Using a literature review, this research observes the use of technology in the classroom and analyzes data from research results and literature. The results show that technology, when used in a balanced and age-appropriate manner, supports improved cognitive skills such as language and problem solving. However, misuse or overuse can negatively impact a child's social and emotional skills. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of structured and supervised use of technology in early childhood education, suggesting a balance between technology use and traditional learning activities to support holistic and healthy cognitive development.

Abstract

Community involvement is key to improving the nutrition, sanitation, and health conditions of street children. This study examines the role of nutrition, sanitation, and health interventions involving community participation for street children. In the context of this research, a community-based participatory approach was used at Al-Ajyb Child Friendly School, Sudimampir Market, Banjarmasin City. This research explores the linkages between nutrition, sanitation, and health for street children and promotes the importance of early education and community involvement in meeting their needs. Community-Based Participatory Research was used in this study, involving various stakeholders. The findings of the study revealed various challenges faced by street children, such as nutrition, sanitation, and limited access to education and health services. Additionally, the study highlighted the important role of community-based interventions in promoting healthy behavior and raising awareness of the importance of nutrition and sanitation. Thus, collaboration between various parties is expected to translate the study findings into concrete actions aimed at improving the welfare of street children and enhancing their future prospects.
