Abstract

Micro and Medium Entreprese growth nowadays need some effective marketing program in order to expand the market. The use of social media as one of the marketing tools now becomes very critical and important. This research tried to indentify the impact of social media to micro medium entreprise in culinary sector at west Jakarta, Tanjung Duren. This is one of quantitative descriptive research about UMKM that utilize social media as their marketing tools. In this research there are two variables that would like to be observed, entrepreneurship oritentation as dependent variable and social media impact as independent variable. Simple linear regression was used as analytic tool to test some hypothesis that would like to be tested in this research. Finding in this research conclude social media has an impact to entrepreneurship orientation base on t and f test that has been calculated.

Abstract

CAPM is old theory that used to be taught in most of business school today. But empirically this model is fail to explain excess return of portfolio. The study seeks to determine the risk factors in asset pricing in the Indonesian Stock Exchange through a comparative analysis of the three factors model and the Capital Asset Pricing Model. In this research, each Daily Return are analyzed using Fama French and CAPM Model. Both model are compared its R2 result and tested using F test and T test. Our finding is the R2 result are not really different between Fama French Model and CAPM. Our result confirm that CAPM still good asset pricing model base on our sample experiment.

Abstract

The predicate of banks operating in Indonesia is influenced by the performance and quality of banks. Predicates held by banks should be closely correlated with the ability of each banking institution to maintain high competitiveness. Infobank Research Bureau classifies banks operating in Indonesia in four predicates, that are very good, good, quite good, and not good. In this study, the predicate of bank are classified into two groups, namely very good and not very good. Banks that are classified in the predicate good, quite good, and not good according to the Infobank Research Bureau are united into a group of banks with predicate not very good. This research was conducted to find variables that becomes significant determinant for the predicate of banks operating in Indonesia. The study was conducted using secondary data obtained from Infobank (2015). Overall there were 99 banks evaluated. As the research variables were Category of Bank’s book, Composite risk management profile (RMP_CG), Good Corporate Governance composite profile (GCG_CG), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Core capital (CoreCap), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Profit Growth (PrGrowth), and Ratio of Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO). Tests were performed using Logistic Regression Analysis. The results obtained indicate that predicate classification of banks are affected by variables Composite risk management profile, Non-Performing Loan, and Return on Assets. The accuracy of the predictions of the model is 92.9 %.

Abstract

Human decision making process can be very complicated and complex. Especially in case of financial decision making by the investor in Financial Market. Rational investor should be risk averse and make some investment decision based on the risk and return (or reward) that could be obtained from the asset. But most of these “rational investors’ are failed to be rational investor. Many of them make some decision just base on heuristic judgment and lead them to bias or error. Some bias or errors are very common to be found, especially when we used system 1 in our decision making process. We tend to be fooled by past experience or if we could link with financial decision making is the past data. Our research aim to find the behavioral pattern that could be found in trading volume. We suspect there is some irrational decision making that might be happen in Jakarta Stock Exchange. We examine IHSG value and its volume from 2014 to 2016. Result from this research is far from expectation. R2 value is very low (about 2.3%) and other t-test only showed 1 dependent variable is significant. On the next step in behavioral study we think need to change the sample and applied this model on specific stocks price not on index. And after this research we also start to make behavior research roadmap to investigate risk preference base on behavior study that has been conducted by Thaler (2016), Ariely (2010) or Kahneman (2013).

Abstract

It is very long story from the beginning of our financial system until the era of information technology. At the first time money was created in order to simplified and made trade more convenient for the human. But through the history the function of money has started to disoriented and changed, not just as tools but also something that signaling our wealth and our wants. Investing nowadays not only worked and transacted very fast and accurate but also made human chasing the money and wealth as the purpose of life. These pheomonema sometimes lead human into heuristic bias in decision making about investment. In some big event such as financial crisis, researcher concludes that might be an error in human decision making. Cause of this error might be the intuitive system of our thinking process. So in this research, researcher wants to examine some signal of behavioral aspect of investor decision making in intraday data.

Abstract

Inventory is one of important factor that should be considered in operational management. In operational management, in order to achieved efficiency, then firm resources should be manage and alocate base on its priority and its impact. Inventory Cost will affect Total Cost of Production, so when its not properly manage it will cost the firm. As long as the cost remain low, the firm will achieve low cost production to create competitive advantages over the competitor. EOQ or Economic Order Quantity has been taught in many university as simple inventory model. The idea is quite simple and its goal is to achieve minimum Total Cost of Production base on the efficiency between carrying cost and ordering cost. We conducted research about EQO in LCG Corporation. LCG Corporation produce clothes and sell it to many Indonesia market. Their segment is for kids. Our challenge is to adapt and applied EOQ to their inventory. Before this research LCG face many problem regarding to efficiency in inventory management. This research hope could help LCG problem and give solution to achieve minimum Production Cost.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of stock repurchase announcements made by 30 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015 against abnormal return and trading volume activity owned by each share. In conducting this research, researcher used descriptive analysis method that uses the smallest value, largest, average and standard deviation to see the characteristics of abnormal return and the amount of stock volume. Researcher also use statistical analysis by looking at the value of p and t-stats of abnormal return and stock volume. The estimated period used is 120 days before the announcement until4 days before the announcement, while the test period used is 3 days before and 20 days after the announcement. The results show that stock repurchase does not have an effect on abnormal return and trading volume activity. Based on these results, it can be said that the level efficiency of capital market in Indonesia already quite strong. In addition, the research results show that most companies do stock repurchase at the time the Indonesian economy is experiencing a downturn. This is done not to boost stock prices, but only to keep stocks from falling deeper. As long as the economic condition is still unstable and there is no momentum that can make the market lively, then the stock price will be difficult to boost and buyback efforts made by the company will not create a market reaction.

Abstract

The purpose of the research in this thesis is to analyze the influence of leadership style, job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance at XYZ restaurants. The analytical method used by the author in conducting this research is to use quantitative research with a population of 83 respondents who are XYZ restaurant employees. In carrying out the data collection, it was carried out by distributing questionnaires in which there were several statements. in this study the variables are divided into several parts including leadership style (X1), job satisfaction (X2) and motivation (X3) as independent variables, and employee performance (Y) as the dependent variable. To measure the magnitude of the influence on these variables, the authors use the method of linear regression and multiple regression analysis. From the results of the analysis it was found that there were significant and simultaneous effects on the variables of leadership style, job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance at XYZ restaurants

Abstract

Indonesia has very big potency to increase their poultry output. One of the favorite consumed poultry product was chicken and eggs. Government also drive the output of poultry product should be increased every year. But the problem is Indonesia still face the shortage of supply of the poultry products. Despite the import, the market still faces the shortage. Base on this condition, our research focus is on the Ternak Segar business model. There is big opportunity and big market potency that still could be explored in Poultry Product. The challenge itself is how to develop competitive and innovative business products.

Abstract

Y generation or also called as Millenial Generation are group of the people who born in 1980 – 2000. Milenial life very closes with digital technology or we can call them tech savvy by the nature. One of their distinguished habbit was the frequency of using social media. Aside from culinary, this Millenial Generation also closed with make up and skin care products. Style and appearance become very important for this generation. This habbit also lead them to become very narcissistic and post everything about their life in social media. This research will discuss about Brand Image, Price and Product Quality influence to Repurchase Decision for high end make up and skin care product. The scope of this research is only in Jakarta. The subject of this research is 30 consumers that repeatedly buy the make up and skin care product for their lifestyle. The independent variables are Brand Image, Price and Product Quality. And for dependent variable is Repurchase Decision. This model analyzed using multiple regressions. Purpose of this research is to observe the influence of culture effect, social, personal and psychological aspect to purchase decision of the high end make up and skin care products. Result that obtained in this research is culture effect, social, personal and psychology aspect has influenced to purchase decision of high end make up and skin care product for Millenial Generaion.
