Abstract

The impacts of the Covid-19 Pandemic have struck the economic and public health of urban residents. As a community who live in densely populated areas around Pasar Besar Malang, kampong inhabitants must cope with the outbreak as well as recover in the aftermath the pandemic using their own resources. This article investigated the role of the collective memory contributed to forming local knowledge to make the best way to deal with the pandemic turbulences as well as how people started to initiate resilience using the urban infrastructure resources in post-outbreak. Utilizing the qualitative method, the results show two essential findings. First, the collective memory of the past plague was absent in communities’ everyday life for a long time of period which made people have no simple guidance to overcome the pandemic impacts. The politics of ethnic segregation in housing during Colonial Era contribute for keeping distance people from the outbreak history. Second, several urban infrastructures such as clean water supply and public electricity which were properly provided for kampong community devoted in composing resilience during until after the pandemic. Ultimately, using those physical infrastructures the social structures were transformed.

Abstract

February 2024 is the time for presidential election cycle for Indonesia. It becomes crucial to know how they promote their future programs in their published vision and mission books. The presidential candidates are Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar as the first candidate, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the second candidate, and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD as the third candidate. Since Indonesia has been actively promoting democracy in domestic areas and for international recognition, it is essential for the presidential candidates to promote democracy in their future programs. This paper aims to discover the most frequent discussed topics and how it reflected into the most-frequent words in their vision and mission books. Thus, this paper applied a computer-assisted textual analysis by Voyant tools. Voyant tool is known as a well-established methodology from data collection to data visualization. The results show that the first candidate focuses on the aspect of fairness in democracy, the second candidate focuses on the policy aspects of economic development, and the third one focuses on a broader aspect of economic development. Furthermore, the most frequent word analysis contributes to the theoretical understanding of computer-assisted textual analysis and democratic promotion among Indonesian presidential candidates.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu persoalan yang sering muncul saat ini adalah penelantaran dan juga kekerasan terhadap anak. Persoalan penelantaran kepada anak-anak disebabkan karena ketidakmampuan orang tua dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak tersebut, sehingga sebagian anak rentan mengalami kekerasan. Sehingga, untuk mengurangi penelantaran dan juga kekerasan pada anak maka perlu adanya peran Panti Asuhan dalam melindungi dan membimbing anak-anak yatim, yatim piatu, kaum dhuafa dan juga anak terlantar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi teamwork pegawai UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesejahteraan anak melalui teori Skidmore yang meliputi komunikasi, kompromi, kooperatif, koordinasi dan konsumasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi ketika studi riset dan praktikum di UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono pada tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa teamwork di UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono telah berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dilihat dari adanya proses kerjasama tim dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesejahteraan anak telah melibatkan seluruh pegawai di UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono. Kata Kunci: teamwork, pelayanan, kesejahteraan anak ABSTRACT One of the frequent issues today is the abandonment and violence against children. Child abandonment often occurs due to parents' inability to fulfill their basic needs, making some children vulnerable to violence. Therefore, to reduce abandonment and violence against children, the role of orphanages is essential in protecting and guiding orphaned, destitute, and vulnerable children. The purpose of this study is to explore the teamwork of employees at the UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono in improving child welfare services through Skidmore's theory, which includes communication, compromise, cooperation, coordination, and consumption. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation during research studies and practicums at UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono in 2022. The results of the study show that teamwork at UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono has been effective. This is evidenced by the collaborative process among the team members in improving child welfare services involving all employees at UPT PPSAA Nganjuk Asrama Kertosono. Abstract

The current development of urban society shows a change in the character of society which has become more individualistic, with a society style that is instantaneous and practical, this gives rise to problems of social solidarity and solidarity in people's lives, through innovation in this digital pinch, researchers are trying to solve this. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, involving urban communities as informants, the data taken was obtained from several community activity channels such as: social gathering groups and also recitation groups. The research results show that the digital jimpitan innovation model has succeeded in providing an alternative for making the use of collecting donations more effective and efficient

Abstract

The role of social welfare workers (TKSK) in sub-districts aims to make the distribution of aid from the government to poor families and recipients of the Family Hope Program in Sewon sub-district a success. This is the key to community welfare in Sewon Subdistrict This study aims to determine the role of the sub-district Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in the implementation of the family hope program to help people with Social Welfare Problems, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the role of the District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in facilitating People with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS). Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the role of the District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) has not played a good role in facilitating communities with Social Welfare Problems in Sewon sub-district and also assistance. This happened because of the limited ability of the Subdistrict Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in dealing with communities with Social Welfare Problems in collaboration between the sub-district TKSK Social Welfare Workers and the government, PKH Coordinators, TKSK in the area, and fellow District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK). The form of assistance provided by the Government or Social Services is the Family Hope Program (PKH).

Abstract

Media sosial merupakan platform yang menyediakan fasilitas kolaborasi yang mampu menguatkan relasi dan menciptakan jalinan sosial diantara pengguna tanpa terbatas jarak, ruang, dan waktu. Instagram merupakan salah satu media yang banyak diminati pelanggan karena fiturnya yang sangat inovatif dan kreatif. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) merupakan salah satu provinsi yang menjadi tujuan para wisatawan. Kini di Yogyakarta hadir wisata alternatif yang unik, yakni Jogja Walking Tour. Jogja Walking Tour adalah program dari Komunitas Malam Museum yang didirikan pada tahun 2018. Segmentasi peserta yang dapat mengikuti kegiatan walking tour ini sekitar umur 17 tahun sampai 40 tahun keatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Manajemen Akun Instagram @Jogjawalkingtour Sebagai Promosi Wisata Tempat Bersejarah di Yogyakarta Tahun 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen media akun Instagram @jogjawalkingtour melibatkan empat fungsi utama, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Perencanaan dilakukan untuk menjelaskan strategi konten dengan menggunakan fitur Instagram feeds. Pengorganisasian melibatkan pembagian tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam tim. Pelaksanaan dilakukan untuk menggerakkan konsep yang telah disusun. Pengawasan dilakukan untuk memastikan pencapaian tujuan yang telah dikonsepkan sebelumnya. Dalam implementasinya, minat wisatawan pada Jogja Walking Tour berhasil meningkat di tahun 2023. Setelah mengoptimalisasikan fitur feeds, akun Instagram @jogjawalkingtour mendapatkan pengikut baru sebanyak 0,7% dari total pengikut akun Instagram @jogjawalkingtour pada bulan November tahun 2023.

Abstract

Pariwisata berkelanjutan di Bhutan didasarkan pada prinsip Gross National Happiness (GNH), sebuah filosofi pembangunan unik yang menekankan keseimbangan antara pembangunan material dan non-material, seperti pelestarian budaya dan lingkungan, tata kelola yang baik, dan kesejahteraan sosial. Filosofi ini relevan dengan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yang dirancang oleh PBB untuk mengatasi tantangan global, termasuk keberlanjutan pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi ide GNH terhadap SDGs dalam konteks pembangunan sosio-ekonomi pariwisata berkelanjutan di Bhutan. Dengan menggunakan teori konstruktivisme sosial Alexander Wendt, yang menekankan pentingnya ide dan gagasan dalam membentuk norma internasional, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kesamaan antara GNH dan SDGs. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur, mencakup sumber dari buku, jurnal terindeks Scopus, laporan UNWTO, dan dokumen dari GNH Center Bhutan serta Pemerintah Bhutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GNH telah menjadi inspirasi dalam penyusunan poin-poin SDGs, terutama yang terkait dengan pelestarian lingkungan (poin 13 dan 15), budaya (poin 11), dan pemberdayaan masyarakat (poin 8). Kebijakan "High Value Low Impact" yang diterapkan Bhutan mencerminkan integrasi antara GNH dan SDGs, menciptakan model pembangunan pariwisata yang mendukung ekonomi lokal sambil tetap menjaga keberlanjutan alam dan budaya.
