Abstract

Elections are a fundamental mechanism within the democratic framework, facilitating the selection of leaders and representatives who will be the voice and embodiment of the people. The preservation of integrity and fairness in the conduct of the electoral process is essential to ensure proper representation and foster public confidence in the final outcome. This study aims to explore previous research that has been conducted in the area of public participation in election monitoring and provide in-depth analyses. This study is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study show that the involvement of the general public in the management of election monitoring plays an important role in upholding the principles of integrity, transparency and trust in the electoral system. The public has the opportunity to be actively involved in monitoring, reporting and supervising the conduct of elections through both direct and institutionalised participation mechanisms. Strong public participation can also serve as a mechanism to prevent and detect potential election violations, increase the level of transparency, and improve the credibility of election results.

Abstract

The Prophet Muhammad had succeeded in changing the land of Yathrib, with its bad connotation of population and civilization, into Medina as a developed country, which brought about rapid changes. The influence of this society reached areas occupied by the Persian and Roman civilizations for hundreds of years. All were stunned by the speed with which Islam built a superior new society, and all of its dimensions were firmly rooted in faith. The concept of the Medina Community has become proof that the source of knowledge, the source of civilization, and the superpower society originate in this city. This success indicates the intelligence of the da'wah strategy that the Prophet carried out. This paper uses a qualitative research type of literature study. The results of this paper prove that there are several main strategies that the prophet used in building the Medina Society. This is also in line with the concept of developing modern society from a contemporary perspective.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk Mengetahui Peran Pendampingan Dewan Da’wah Islamiyah Indonesia Provinsi NTT dalam Membina Aqidah Kampung Mualaf Oeselaen Pulau Semau Kabupaten Kupang. Metodelogi Penelitian: Kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian: Dewan Da’wah Kupang merupakan lembaga Da’wah dengan garapan utama menyebarkan Islam di Kupang khususnya Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Dimana setiap da’i-da’i yang dikirim bisa menda’wahkan ajaran Islam dengan baik dan mudah di pahami oleh Mad’unya. Adapun Peran Pendampingan Dewan Da’wah Islamiyah Indonesia Provinsi NTT dalam Membina Aqidah Kampung Mualaf Oeselaen di Pulau Semau Kabupaten Kupang yaitu dengan cara mengirimkan da’i-da’i, kaderisasi da’i, majlis ta’lim, ceramah-ceramah, agar memudahkan bagi para mualaf memahami Islam khususnya pemurnian aqidah mereka yang di Kampung Oeselaen atau yang sering disebut kampung mualaf. Abstract

To ensure that society effectively embraces the true teachings of Islam as da'wah partners, managing da'wah entails implementing a well-organized da'wah initiative. Da'wah transcends geographical boundaries and is not confined to Islamic regions. Indonesia, being a varied country, naturally has several multicultural regions characterized by different faiths, ethnicities, and races. Effectively managing diversity is a complex task that necessitates mutual understanding, comprehension, and recognition of the fact that we are inherently diverse as creations of God. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate a mindset of religious moderation that is independent of political or personal agendas and free from doctrinal rigidity. However, this does not imply being unethical, but rather avoiding radical perspectives while examining and comprehending current issues. Thus, this study aimed to develop strategies for da'wah management activities that encourage religious moderation in multicultural areas. In order to accomplish this aim, a methodical examination of existing literature was conducted by utilizing Boolean operators throughout the search process on the selected database. The ERIC indexed-journal database was selected using boolean operators due to their combinations of reputable journal sources in the educational field. The authors utilized several choices and ultimately arrived at a total of nine research articles. The findings reveal that religious moderation includes more than simply limiting the attitudes and actions of religious authorities. It also involves leading the process or phases in a managerial manner. It recommends that prospective authors address this gap through practical study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to know how the influence of social cognition on problem-solving ability of service students at STID Mohammad Natsir; how the influence of self-efficacy of problem-solving ability in service students at STID Mohammad Natsir; and how the influence of social cognition and self-efficacy simultaneously on problem-solving ability of service students at STID Mohammad Natsir. This research used descriptive quantitative with survey design. The population and sample in this study are students of STID Mohammad Natsir who have served for two years in various regions in Indonesia. Data collection in this study using questionnaires. Analysis of validity test used the Pearson product moment while reliability test used Cronbach’s Alpha. Technique of data analysis used classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, multicollinearity) and multiple regression analysis (heteroscedasticity tests, partial hypothesis tests, simultaneous hypothesis tests, coefficient determination tests). The results of this study showed that social cognition had a significant influence on students' problem-solving abilities with a comparative score of t-count > t-table, 3.214 > 1.999, while the significance value was 0.02 < 0.05. The second finding, self-efficacy had a significant influence on students' problem-solving abilities with a comparative score of t-count > t-table, 4.343 > 1.999 with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Further findings, simultaneously between the variables of social cognition and self-efficacy exerted a significant influence on problem-solving ability. It is showed by a calculated F-value greater than the F-table, score ratio is 42.469 > 3.15. Judging from the significance score 0.00 < 0.05 indicated social cognition and self-efficacy affect problem-solving ability. From the test results of the coefficient of determination with score of R-squared 0.578. So, it shows that social cognition and self-efficacy contribute simultaneously to problem-solving ability reaching 57.8%. The remaining 42.2% indicated a contribution from other variables that were not used in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal the interpretation of the Qur'anic verse Surah Yusuf verse 108 by the students participating in the Kafilah Da'wah program in 2024. To achieve this goal, I use a literature study approach based on the interpretations of Islamic scholars and a living Qur'an study based on observations, interviews, and documentation of the 2024 Kafilah Da'wah participants. The research findings reveal that the Kafilah Da'wah 2024 students have a fairly comprehensive understanding of the meaning of da'wah to Allah, which includes the objectives of da'wah, da'wah materials, da'wah strategies, as well as the inevitability of sincerity and sacrifice in da'wah. They also understand that bashirah in da'wah is not only about the da'wah message but also encompasses methods, strategies, and a thorough understanding of the audience (mad'u). The interpretation of the Qur'an developed among these students is in line with the interpretations from the exegetical works of Islamic scholars. The research also proves that Mohammad Natsir Insitute of Da&rsquo;wah has become a leading institution in the cadre development of preachers (dai), not only in the transfer of knowledges but also in the inheritance of the core values of da&rsquo;wah (transfer of values).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify the strategies of Yayasan Islah Bina Umat in empowering orphans and the underprivileged. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, employing Miles & Huberman's data analysis, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data were collected through documentation, observation, and interviews. The conclusion of this research is that the actions taken by Yayasan Islah Bina Umat align with the Empowerment Strategy proposed by Ibn Khaldun. Yayasan Islah Bina Umat applies spiritual aspects that can empower the community through its learning and teaching. Additionally, Yayasan Islah Bina Umat implements intellectual aspects, which show many similarities with Ibn Khaldun's theory. It can be concluded that the programs within the spiritual aspects also encompass the intellectual aspects. Yayasan Islah Bina Umat also applies economic empowerment aspects by providing social contributions to those in need and to empower underdeveloped communities to become more developed. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan Islah Bina Umat sesuai dengan Strategi Pemberdayaan yang digagas oleh Ibnu Khaldun. Yayasan Islah Bina Umat menerapkan aspek rohaniah yang dapat meberdayakan masyarakat dari sisi pembelajaran dan pengajarannya, Yayasan Islah Bina Umat juga menerapkan aspek intelektual, yang mana aspek intelektual ini dalam teori Ibnu Khaldun banyak kesamaan. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa program yang berada di dalam aspek ruhaniyah, makan pada aspek intelektual juga tercantum. Yayasan Islah Bina Umat juga menerapkan aspek pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat dengan memberikan sumbangan-sumbangan yang berbau sosial untuk para masyarakat yang membutuhkan, dan juga demi memberdayakan masyarakat yang kurang atau tidak berkembang menjadi berkembang. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the content and meaning of political and economic opinions in the Rubrik's Column of Republika Daily Opinion for the period June – December 2021, the data analyzed are 6 Republika daily opinions. Based on the analysis carried out by the researcher, the results of his research in the general opinion column of the Republika daily for the period June – December 2021 are in line with the critical discourse analysis of Teun AVan Dijk's approach. In the opinion column, the researcher found the results of Van Dijk's version of the three-dimensional AWK analysis, namely macro/thematic structure, Super Structure/ Schematic Analysis and microstructure. Abstract

Research Objective: To determine the process of implementing mosque-based community empowerment at Masjid Muslim Billionaire Cinangneng Tenjolaya, Bogor Research Methods: Qualitative. Research Results: This research shows that Muslim Billionaire Mosque has carried out community empowerment programs through three stages. First, stage of awareness and formation, programs carried out are Pasar Bahagia, Majelis Bahagia, Pondok CEO Scholarship Program, and Gerakan Gizi Santri; stages of transformation of knowledge and skills, programs carried out are Pondok CEO and Memorization is Easy; and the stage of improving intellectual abilities and skills, programs be conducted are Pondok CEO and Baitul Muamalah program. Conclusion: The results of the empowerment carried out by the Masjid Muslim Billionaire stated that with the existence of a mosque-based community empowerment program carried out by the managements of the Masjid Muslim Billionaire, so the mosque congregation, the community around the mosque, and also Muslims in generally could feel the positive impact of this activity. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pemberdayaan perempuan oleh Kelompok Tani Banggeris (KTB) di Kutai Kartanegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. KTB melakukan pemberdayaan perempuan melalui serangkaian kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan ekonomi perempuan di Desa Teluk Dalam. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi pekarangan produktif, pelatihan pembuatan pupuk, pengajian rutin, kegiatan menanam, dan program KTB peduli. Pendampingan dan pelatihan dilakukan untuk membantu perempuan meningkatkan ekonomi mereka. Keberhasilan implementasi ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi pemberdayaan perempuan oleh KTB sesuai dengan teori implementasi Edward dan berhasil memberdayakan perempuan di Desa Teluk Dalam.
