Abstract

Time management is a self-regulatory individual in using time as effectively and as possible which is influenced by several factors such as self regulation, motivation, and learning methods. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of online learning methods with the management of duration of student study time during WFH due to pandemic Covid19 in North Sumatra province. This type of research is correlational design with Cross sectional research design. The population in the research of all students in North Sumatra province with a sample number of 96 people. Sampling techniques using accidental sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire sheet. Analyze data using Chi Square test. The results of the study gained an online learning method of both 82 people (85.4%), a time management study of both 70 people (72.9%). Chi Square test results obtained p-value = 0.006 (P< 0.05). This indicates there is an online learning method relationship with the management of duration of student study time during WFH due to pandemic Covid19 in North Sumatra province. It is hoped that students can perform better online learning in order to better improve their self-discipline in managing their time, especially in the duration of time management for good learning.

Abstract

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (DMG) occurs due to insulin resistance during pregnancy which causes glucose intolerance in various levels and hyperglycemia. The incidence of DMG in the world and in Indonesia continues to increase every year. Gestational diabetes mellitus can cause complications to the mother and the fetus both during pregnancy and after delivery. Administering vitamin D supplement can reduce blood glucose level and keep the fetal growth rate in normal limits. This study aimed to determine the effect of administering vitamin D supplement on glucose level and fetal growth rate in DMG rats. This is an experimental study with post-test only control group design in 15 pregnant rats with gestational diabetes. Samples were divided into three groups, one control group and two treatment groups which were given vitamin D supplements at a dose of 9µg/kgBW and 18µg/kgBW for 14 days. Blood glucose level examination was done by using a glucometer and the fetal growth rate was done by using an analytical balance and millimeter paper. Statistical testwas conducted by using One Way ANOVA, the significance was determined if p <0.05. Mean ± SD blood glucose levels (mg/dL) in the the control group (170.80 ± 4.147), P1 group (126.00 ± 1.581), P2 group (123.80 ± 1.924) (p 0.001). Statistically there was a significant difference in the administration of vitamin D supplements on blood glucose levels and there was no significant difference in fetal growth rates in DMG rats. The conclusion of this research is that effect administration of vitamin D supplements on blood glucose levels and it does not affect fetal growth rates in DMG rats.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is the process of a baby breastfeeding immediately after birth, where the baby is allowed to find its mother's nipples, early breastfeeding initiation will greatly help in the continuation of exclusive breastfeeding. This research is an analytical survey research with a cross sectional design, namely research conducted by observing simultaneously to find out the independent and dependent variables. The results of the chi square test showed a p-value of 0.005 <0.05, this indicates that there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD. The conclusion in this study is that most respondents have knowledge about EBI in the good category, namely as many as 20 respondents (62.5%), some respondents have attitudes about IMD in the positive category, namely 17 respondents (53.1%), and there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD (p-value = 0.005).

Abstract

Clinical/field practical learning is a learning activity held in practice places such as hospitals, clinics, health centers, and communities. Clinical Instructors are responsible for educating and supporting students during clinical practice and facilitating learning in the practical field. The research objective was to identify the effect of mentor preceptor training by clinical instructors on student satisfaction in guiding clinical practice in Midwifery Study Program, University of Tulungagung. Analytical observational research design with the cross-sectional approach. The population of all students of the D3 Midwifery Study Program at the University of Tulungagung has already implemented midwifery clinical practice. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique as many as 62 students. research instrument are questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that 32 student (51.6%) were guided by CI who had attended preceptor mentor training by clinical instructors; most of the respondents, namely 46 students (74.2%), said they were satisfied with CI in guiding Clinical practice at the D3 Midwifery Study Program. Chi-square statistical test obtained p-value 0.000 <0.05 it’s means that there is an effect of mentor preceptor training by clinical instructors on student satisfaction in guiding clinical practice in D3 Midwifery Study Program, University of Tulungagung. Preceptor mentor training can provide satisfaction for students in guiding during clinical practice; this can happen, of course, with various factors that support its implementation, such as a standardized guidance system and preceptor ship training followed by clinical supervisors who can provide good service.

Abstract

Cervical cancer attacks the cervix in the lower third of the uterus. In Indonesia, The highest cancer that occurs in women is cervical cancer and 65% of the incidence is found in the advanced stage, 18.5% occurs at the age of 25-34 years and the highest incidence of cervical cancer occurs at the age of 45-54 years. This type of research is descriptive of analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The samples in this study were women of childbearing age-aged 20-65 years. the sampling technique is a purposive sample. Analysis of data in the form of univariate (Frequency and percentage) and bivariate with the chi-square test. The results of the study age with a value of p = 0.207 where the value of p > is 0.05 and with a value of p = 0.207 where the p-value > 0.05. Jobs with a value of p = 0.004 where the p-value > 0.05, Support Husband value p = 0.004 where the p-value > 0.05 and Knowledge value p = 0.004 where the p-value > 0.05 can then be inferred in the absence of age relations, education of women of childbearing age in conducting IVA test checks. Job, Husband, and Knowledge Support has a relationship with women of Childbearing Age in conducting iva test examinations. It is recommended to further enhance the role of the husband, the role of health workers is also very important to motivate the community in conducting early detection.

The data collected were primary and secondary data, then the data were processed using SPSS steps and Chi-Square statistical test α = 0.05. The results showed that most of the respondents who had sufficient knowledge were 18 people (60%), 18 people (60%) had an active behavior, the majority had anemia, 12 people (40%) based on the chi-square statistical test, the value of p = 0.000 was obtained. This means that the p value is smaller than the p value (0.05) and thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely knowledge and behavior about nutrition in adolescent girls has a significant relationship with the incidence of anemia. It is recommended to young women in Bulanjahe Village, Barusjahe District, Karo Regency in 2019 to meet the nutritional needs of the body and seek information about anemia.
