Abstract

Elderly is the last phase in life. Disorders of physical mobility limit the independence of the elderly in fulfilling their daily activities, musculoskeletal disorders are the cause of slowness of movement, and slow response causes the risk of falling in the elderly, so the need for balance exercises. The reduction in the risk of falling can be overcome with balance exercises, namely the berg balance scale. In particular, this study aims to determine the intervention, namely education and balance training given to the elderly against the risk of falling owned by the elderly. This type of research used in this research is to use quantitative, pre-experimental research design with one group pretest - postest design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, there were 20 elderly people by giving balance training which was measured before and after which was done 2 days a week for 3 weeks using the observation sheet. And analyzed by univariate, bivariate, normality test with Paired sample t-test. The results showed that the majority of the risk of falling was high in the elderly before being given balance training, namely the risk of falling as much as 9 (45.0%), after being given balance training in the elderly, the risk of falling was low as many as 11 people (55.0%), the result of the t test was p = 0.002 (0.005) then Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of balance training on reducing the risk of falling with a value of t = 3.621, so there is an effect of balance training on reducing the risk of falling in the elderly as much as 3,621 times. The conclusion is that the effect of balance training on reducing the risk of falling for the elderly in the new village, so that the new village is expected to consider giving balance training to the elderly as an alternative in reducing the risk level of falling in the elderly.

This study uses a correlation design, time series approach. The sample of this study was 30 new patients who came to the IGD Raja Musa Hospital, using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire which is processed through the process of editing, coding, data entry, tabulating / processing. Data analysis with Chi Square test. Of the 30 respondents, it was found that the majority of respondents were dissatisfied 18 (60%) based on the level of satisfaction of implementing the SOP for new patient admission at Raja Musa Hospital, 13 respondents were quite good (43.3%). The result of p value analysis is 0.015 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the application of standard operating procedures (SOP) for new patient admissions with the level of patient satisfaction at the Raja Musa Sungai Guntung Riau Regional Hospital 2019.

This study aims to determine the relationship between family support regarding adherence to taking medication with the prevalence of recurrence in schizophrenia patients at the Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem, North Sumatra Province. This study used a descriptive correlation type with a cross sectional approach. The total population of the researchers was 311 people. The sampling technique was carried out by using the Accidental sampling technique with 10% of the population so that the sample size was 31 people. Power analysis used the Spearman`s Rho test. The results of the study using the Spearman`s Rho correlation test were obtained p = 0.000 <α 0.05. This shows that there is a relationship between family support and the recurrence rate of schizophrenia patients at Prof. Dr. Mental Hospital. Muhammad Ildrem, North Sumatra Province in 2017. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family support regarding adherence to taking medication with the prevalence of recurrence of schizophrenia patients in Prof. Dr. Mental Hospital. Abstract

Stunting is a major nutritional problem that will have an impact on social and economic life in society. There is clear evidence that individuals who are stunted have a higher mortality rate. Stunting will affect physical work performance and mental and intellectual functions will be impaired (Mann and Truswell, 2012). This is also supported by Jackson and Calder (2004) who state that stunting is associated with impaired immune function and increases the risk of death. So that high protein is needed to stimulate the growth of toddlers with stunting by using foods that have high protein such as anchovies, eels and broccoli. Food and nutrition are factors that are closely related to efforts to improve the quality of human resources. People who have fulfilled their needs with balanced nutritional quality are better able to participate in development. Food and nutrition problems are complex problems and are interrelated with one another. Several approaches are used in determining food and nutritional status assessments by assessing consumption and eating habits as well as assessing the nutritional status of a particular area or group. Each region has food and nutrition problems that are different from other regions. The area where the population lives also determines the consumption pattern of the community (Augustyn, 2002). To fulfill the dietary pattern of children under five requires an innovation in research to fulfill the nutrition of children in the form of naget (libertri) giving programs, namely broccoli, anchovies and eels. The research objective was to identify whether giving nuggets could increase the growth of toddlers with stunting. Research method using quasi experiment Research results There was a significant difference in the mean z-score of TB / U before and after treatment in the group given the libertarian nugget, with a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). There was a significant difference in the growth of stunting children who were given nuggets and those who were not given nuggets. The increase in the nutritional status of toddlers from very short to short and from short (stunting) to normal, namely 36%. Meanwhile, in the control group there was an increase of 4%.

Abstract

Young papaya contains several phytochemicals such as saponins, alkaloids and flavonoids. The active compounds in young papaya are thought to be able to cause disruption of the hypothalamic-pituitary pathway which causes disruption of GnRH secretion and affects the ovarian cycle which affects the normal endometrial cycle. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of giving young papaya fruit extract (Carica papaya L.) on endometrial histology of female rats (Rattus norvegicus). This study uses the Post Test Only Control Group method. Total samples were 24 rats (Rattus norvegicus), 2-3 months old and 200-300 grams in weight. Samples were taken randomly, divided into 4 groups. Group (K) without being given treatment. Group (P1) was given 200 mg / 200gr BW of young papaya extract. Group (P2) was given young papaya fruit extract 400 mg / 200gr BW. Group (P3) was given young papaya fruit extract 600 mg / 200gr BW. After 20 days of treatment, the endometrial thickness and density of the endometrium were measured. The results showed that the administration of young papaya fruit extract (Carica papaya L.) caused changes in the thickness of the endometrium and inhibited endometrial gland density. The results of statistical analysis using the one way ANOVA test showed the effect of giving papaya extract on endometrial thickness (p = 0.009) and the effect of giving papaya extract on gland density. It can be concluded that there is an effect of giving young papaya (Carica papaya L.) fruit extract on endometrial thickness and endometrial gland density.

The research objective was to determine the validity of academic advisors and students towards the Monitoring Clinical Learning (MCL) application developed to achieve the midwifery practice target. The research design used is research and development (Research & Development). The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research samples were material experts, IT / media experts, 15 Midwifery Study Program students and clinical practice academic supervisors. The results of the research were obtained from material experts, media experts, and mentors with the percentages respectively80%, 91.6% and 95% categories are very valid. The results of student implementation obtained a percentage of 91.3%very good category. So it can be concluded that the Android-based MCL application to achieve the target of student clinical practice and supervisory supervision with this practical process is very valid for use in midwifery clinical practice..
